But last night my dog Who is a happy little 15 pounder and loved by all groomers, shut down and didn't wanna move. He has a history of a slip disc and sometimes it acts up and he shuts down and doesn't wanna move. That happened last night, so early this morning before my dog was up and about I called the groomer and left a message to let them know my dog wasn't up to it. I apologized for such late notice. Anyway when my dog awoke he was fine, clearly his condition has resolved. He's running around chasing the cats. So I called the groomer back over an hour before my appointment time this morning because I had not heard back and left a message that I would be there after all because my dog was fine. She immediately called me back and declined and told me I couldn't bring my dog in because she was not comfortable grooming him. I assured her he was fine now & the worst that could happen was the disc could slip again and he wouldn't feel well. She declined. Honestly, I was surprised, as dogs having slipped disc's are quite common. So I asked would she ever be comfortable Grooming him and she said no. So be warned, if your dog has a history of a slipped disc either don't tell this groomer or don't book your dog.

She must have been a real handful to do it that quick! Have some patience with a deaf dog with cataracts! They treat older dogs like garbage, you should just throw them out and not take care of them in their opinion! Why would they want to have any compassion! They can get a new, younger dog for a customer and make more money! After all, my dog is a senior citizen so why bother! They say on their Facebook page they support older dogs! Complete BS!

My husband and I had to go out of town unexpectedly. We were only able to take our little dog…read more That meant leaving our big guy Bruno, our cat Sketchy and our old sage Basil. I was nervous leaving them, but after meeting Cheryl my concerns and fears were much less. Cheryl left us activity logs explaining the things she did with our "babies" from watering them to playing with them. Our old cat (who is over 15) even came out and was very affectionate with Cheryl. You have to understand how shy Basil is with strangers to appreciate that significant moment. It warmed my heart tremendously to see Basil and Cheryl interact together. Cheryl was wonderful with all our "babies". I can't imagine having anyone but Cheryl watch our "babies" in the future. She's warm, affectionate and caring. The fact she knows pet first aid only added to my confidence in her. In my honest opinion she is the best if the best!

Never board your dog at Les Anges Gardiennes. They stopped having someone stay with the animals…read moreovernight over a year ago, but didn't tell customers. They just pretend nothing changed. They put the dogs in cages, stacked floor to ceiling, in a tiny room with signs banning entry, so owners don't know how badly their animals are being treated. From the time the daycare closes at 7:00pm until after 7:00am the next morning there is no one there, and the dogs are stuck in little cages for 12+ hours. There is just a camera in the room and who knows if they monitor that. They make a show of putting some cats roaming freely in an office off reception, but they won't show you where they actually stick the dogs who are boarding there: in tiny cages that are off-limits and behind closed doors. I saw the disgusting room because a lovely person in reception told me to avoid boarding there, and showed me the room even though they could have been fired. The people who work in the daycare are fabulous, but the woman who runs the place, Vanessa, is super sweet to your face and takes your money, and then shoves your dog, alone and scared, in a small room and lies to you about someone being there. Oh, also, Vanessa steals tips. The people who work there are so lovely (and you should tip them!!!) but NEVER let Vanessa see you do it, she'll take it for herself, because "they owe her." NEVER GO HERE FOR ANYTHING.
