My wife and I did a 2hr private ride this weekend and it was fantastic! I will admit, I was quite…read morenervous. (I ride bicycles, not horses!) There was a very informative video with the rules, safety info and basics of horsemanship before we started, as well as some personal "coaching" prior to the ride. We had 2 guides, the owner and another girl. They adjusted our saddle/stirrups appropriately and we were off. I was pleasantly surprised how obedient my horse, Dakota, was! Way more so than our dogs, that's for sure. Our guides checked on us frequently and answered any questions we had while en route as well as providing some interesting info on the area, etc. Really enjoyed it!!
