One of the best ideas I ever had. I saw the Purrdy Paws Mobile Spa van on the road one day and…read morebecause my job is of a graphic designer I loved the giant logo on their van and that's initially why I decided to give them a try. My cat is terrified to go in the cat carrier so this has been great and they've done the best job of trimming himi up (which is necessary for sanitary reasons) of anyone that has ever groomed him. I would recommend the Purrdy Paws Mobile Spa to anyone.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Pet owners deserve to know what happened here…read more I brought my cat in for a simple grooming service -- a belly trim and nail clipping. The entire appointment lasted five minutes, yet I was charged $96. My cat was returned to me with loose fur still hanging from her belly, knots still present, and her nails untrimmed, despite being billed for them. But the worst part came after we got home. My cat had a one‑inch cut under her right front leg -- in the exact area the groomer shaved. This wound required stitches. We do not shave or groom our cat at home, so the injury could only have occurred during the appointment. When I contacted the business, instead of taking responsibility, they attempted to deflect blame and suggest the injury happened elsewhere. The photos clearly show the shaved patch and the cut in the same location. Their explanation was not only inaccurate -- it was dismissive and unprofessional. A rushed five‑minute service, incomplete grooming, a serious injury, and then an attempt to deny responsibility. Pet owners should be aware of this before trusting this facility with their animals. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

Everything is great there. My dog loves going there and is exhausted afterwards…read more I have to take away a point because over holidays they close dog camp because they have many dogs boarding. They should allow the regular dog campers on their regular days. Do not punish the regular customers!

Read on My wife got everything done by email for are 2 dogs to stay here. The morning of are trip she email the dogs medical info and asked if there was anything we needed to bring or need to know before we go. We were told no and they would see us later. Being are first time there we showed up around 2 not knowing there are special drop off times. The owner was rude from the start and wanted us to pay $31.00 to drop off the dogs early and that we should no this as it's on the email. I started to asked my wife to take a look at the emails and the owner didn't let me finish my conversation with my wife when she went nuts screaming at us and getting in our face. I keep asking if I could finish my conversation but she keep freaking out saying no and telling us to pay the $31 or get out of her property. If she would have let me finish I would have said if it's on the email i have no issues paying it. We ended up leaving as her verbal harassment was to much. We later check all email correspondence and the only thing is a small signature block with the time they are open. There was nothing in regards to a early drop off fee or a fee if you show up at a deferent time. When then went to Hwy 7 pet retreat unannounced. It was not a drop off time but they were very helpful and kind and had room for our dogs. Since it was our first time there they took the time with a smile to explain how it works there. Oh ya no extra charge. One must not forget that this is a service oriented business that should be handled with poise and a smile. Thank you for reading this review.

I found the puppy…read morekindergarten to be excellent but after taking my dog to obedience level 1, I decided not to take my dog back. Unfortunately, your experience varies greatly depending on the instructor that you get. The instructor who taught puppy kindergarten was very positive and accepting of the unique personalities of each individual dog, and provided tips and tricks to deal with specific behaviours. It was helpful and the puppies had a good time as well. The owner of Carolark taught us in level 1 and I found her both critical and judgmental. My sister was also in the class with her dog and actually stopped going to class part way through because of the owner's negative and narrow-minded attitude. Going to class was something I began to dread each week, as I wondered what I would be scolded for next. We passed the class because I put in the work and time as any owner who takes time to do a class would, but it was a time of self-doubt in my journey of responsible dog ownership. I would recommend that if you have an easy going dog, you might be ok at Carolark; but if your dog is a bit of a goofball or has high energy, or if there are some problem behaviours you are looking to get help with, I would choose another school.

Don't get me wrong, the previous poster isn't wrong, there were times I felt judged and as if I was being scolded for being a new puppy mom. I left my ego at the door though (as I had to! I DIDN'T know what I was doing)They were always direct in their corrections, and were always quick to tell me and my puppy when we were doing well. After each class if I had questions they were happy to answer them, from crate training, to housebreaking, to the jumping and nipping that we're still struggling with they have always had great suggestions. I went from having a very crazy puppy, who would fly around the house, do whatever he wanted, jumped and nipped, pulled like crazy to a sweet mannered puppy (aside from his excitement with new people which were working on!) who walks nicely on a leash and looks to me for directions on everything. Carolark didn't do this alone, there was A LOT of work involved at home to follow up on what we learned so that he got the consistency he deserved so he wasn't lost. They are very well informed people though, and clearly dog lovers who are teaching people how to communicate with their dogs. I'm happy with my choice in Carolark..
