Just before a recent hurricane, I noticed that there was some leaking around some windows that turned out to be related to wood rot. Additionally, I've been struggling with rot issues around a pool closet that wasn't all that well designed. I filed a request with Mr. Handyman and Chad (the owner) promptly responded. Once again, I found Chad and the whole team at Mr. Handyman to be fantastic. He listened carefully to the concern, evaluated the issues and came up with the most cost-effective solutions. He made sure he set expectations in advance of scheduling the work and carefully chose his people that had the right skill set to do the job perfectly. Speaking of the right skillset -- Steven, the lead technician on the job, was just phenomenal to work with. Have you ever met someone who just really knows their stuff and makes you feel at ease? That's Steven in a nutshell. He's worked in all aspects of construction and it shows in his confidence and the quality of his work. He kept me in the loop throughout the entire job and made sure I was completely satisfied. Additionally, I had relayed some struggles I was having caring for my elderly father, and he was a sympathetic ear - offering some advice and ultimately assuring me that he had my back on the house repairs so that I could focus on helping my Dad. There are just not enough people like Steven in the world. He is a rockstar. Additionally, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Dylan, who helped assist Steven, he too was extremely professional and worked hard to help keep to the timeframe quoted. Ultimately, the job was completed in a timely and professional manner. The quality of work was fantastic and I couldn't be more pleased.
