We needed a septic inspection for a house we are purchasing on short notice. They answered the phone when I called (instead of my having to leave a message & wait to hear back). The woman I spoke to was friendly, informative, & got us scheduled right away. The technician called when he was on his way as promised. The job ended up being more than estimated bc he found a second septic tank that none of us knew about, so I was ok with the increase. I can't expect them to know about something that I was unaware of. After he completed the job, I got a phone call explaining everything that was done as well as the findings & later received a report. The customer service & attention to detail was excellent. Would not recommend services from here. First, they came out for a pump out and inspection. They called and said that the tank was covered with debris and that would need to be removed before they could do anything. That estimate was more than 800. They charged me close to 200 dollars for a service call. Then, I went out did some digging and found the tank. I called them back they agreed to use that money toward the pump out and inspection. A few days later, I get an unfriendly call from the receptionist for payment for services rendered the previous week. Remember they did not do anything that service call except dig and I paid. She then said I owed for services from that day. I explained to her, I did not feel comfortable paying without proof that services were completed. I also felt that I should not be charged twice a service fee for using my credit card because I had the check ready to pay them during the first service call. She was rude and I hung up on her.I want to know exactly how I was supposed to know that somebody went out to do the inspection or the pump out. No one called, no one sent pictures, and the hole is still open. Anzaldo septic did you do the job? I have now called back twice once getting voicemail and once getting the same receptionist who did not let me speak to the owner. Think twice, if you want this headache. Edited. I see you can quickly respond to this yet. I still have not received a call. It is very unlikely that you went to the property at all. Which is why you never contacted me back after I hung up on your receptionist who was rude to me. The inspection is not irrelevant because my inspection has passed. You are quick to call me a liar. I will post your estimate here quoting 875 for the removal of the concrete. Who is lying? I have my fax, correct. This is what the tank looks like right now, uncovered. read more

This was the second Yelp 'job' I did. My septic alarm came on, and I was fearing the worst. After posting in Yelp for my area, others were silent, at least for too long a time, but Jeff from Anzaldo responded promptly. Not only did he respond on the phone, he and his helper were there within 2 hours, before anyone else even called us back. He did deliver the feared 'worst news possible' - I needed a new tank, and he showed me why. I had to believe him, even though a small part of me was skeptical. Should I have asked for a second opinion? Perhaps? But their 'high-low' pressure (sign right now, and you save the charge for pumping the tank) was effective. And I'm not sure if the cost was of $5,000 (plus credit card fee of 3%) was reasonable - I just want to get it over and done with. That was not to be, though, as Jeff said that the permit will take up to 30 days. The down-payment, though, was right away. He did assure me that, should I need the tank pumped again before the new one's installed, he'd come around for no extra charge. He told me what signs to look for, and sure enough after a couple of weeks - while we were about to skip town - those signs appeared. So he came right away. After about 3 weeks, the permit came in, and the new tank was installed while we were out of town. I was hoping the lawn would be in better shape after it's all done, but perhaps that's not a reasonable expectation. They did cut the internet cable, which was a bit of a bummer. But all in all, it was as 'pleasant' an experience as it could have been. Jeff was pretty easy to deal with - it's the responsiveness that's the strongest suit. I would recommend them. read more
