After calling 9 other companies about my drain field, I was very discouraged. None of them seemed concerned about my situation, they were only concerned how much money they could make off me. It was more like you need us we don't need you, and they were expensive. I was very discouraged, I closed my eyes, I asked the universe, God, please help me here. Then I called the last company on my list, ACE-Septic out of Hernando City. It was 7:30 at night by this time, on a Friday night, I expected to get an answer machine, Instead I got a very nice young man on the other end of the phone, he identified himself as Dave the owner. I told him about my situation, and he was friendly, and helpful, he showed concern for my problem, he gave me a fair price, 200.00 to 1000.00 below other companies I had called, and here is the Kicker, Dave said don't you worry Ma'am, Ill come out as many times as is needed to pump your septic for FREE while were waiting for the, soil inspections, utility inspections, and permits ! And you know what, he kept his word. He sent a very nice young man named Parker out to my home who pumped my septic 4 times for FREE ! That would have cost and extra 1000.00 with any of the other 9 companies ! All appointments were made through the office with a lovely lady named Sharon, who couldn't have been nicer or more helpful ! Installation day came, Dave and a very nice young man named Pierce came and did the job. Everything went perfect, passed inspection with flying colors, and I'm a very happy camper ! So, bottom line, don't waste your time and MONEY with anyone else !These guys are the BEST, I promise you'll have a great experience like I did and save money too ! On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable, which was a huge relief. From the moment they arrived, the team was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and I was especially impressed with the photos they sent during the process so I could actually see what was going on. It really showed their transparency and commitment to quality work. Then, the very next evening, we had another issue with a possible blockage. I called them later in the day, and instead of brushing me off, they walked me through what to do and promised they would be out the next morning -- and they absolutely kept that promise. They came early, reassessed everything, and made a few additional recommendations to keep things flowing smoothly (another pun... couldn't resist ). He then refused to cover the full expenses his employee had promised. After all of that, he offered to pay only half, but by then I was done dealing with the excuses and unprofessional treatment. Hired this company from PA for a 4-plex purchase in FL to pump/inspect the 4 septic tanks prior to…read moreour closing on the property. This company, together with the home inspector (also on site that same day) MISSED AN ENTIRE TANK - told us there were only 3 and that the front building shares one larger tank due to the well being on the other side of the property. Seemed plausible, so we move along. They provided zero report of any kind for this "inspection". No photos. Nothing but a phone call saying you have 3 and they look fine, we're done and gone. We're now working to get the property fixed up and despite paying $1,248 for these inspections, we STILL don't know exactly where the access lids are located since Payless buried them again with no photos. We didn't get fully moved down for a few more months, so the grass was grown back over and we couldn't tell where had been dug. We have since purchased our own very expensive sewer scope and locator only to find we do in fact have a 4th tank that Payless completely ignored. When we hired another company to come pump that 4th tank after finding it ourselves - they showed up with the permitting plans for our property and knew not only that there were 4 on the property, but exactly where the 4th tank was before we even showed them. Why did Payless not check these records? We are still learning and didn't know to look for those records at the time, but I would expect a professional in this business to know about them. We also now know that all 4 tanks are original and the same size, so that was a lie telling us that the front building shared one larger tank. How does a professional septic company not own a locator?
