We used this company to service our septic system on September 8th of this year. Their technician,…read moreBarry, documented on the pump work order that the tank condition was okay, the sludge was light, and that no problems were noted. Less than three months later, we experienced active sewage backing up into our home. I paid for a licensed plumber to come out, who snaked the main clean-out all the way to the septic tank, found no obstruction, and ruled out all interior plumbing issues. His professional conclusion was that the failure is within the septic system. Despite having their own documentation stating the system was okay, despite an active sewage backup (a clear health and safety issue), and despite advertising emergency septic services on their website, the company refused to treat this as an emergency. They would not send anyone out sooner than several days later, refused to document the discrepancy between their prior assessment and the current failure, and instead attempted to schedule a routine pumping while sewage continued backing up into the house. They also took my credit card information during this process, despite declining emergency service. I found the lack of urgency, accountability, and communication extremely concerning given the circumstances. Based on my experience, I would not rely on this company for emergency.

The company now has changed the price from $8500-$22,000 not even having acquired a permit. This tells me there is no justification for the price being jumped. They won't give an explanation on what's going on. My parents put a $3500 deposit down thinking they would have about $5000 to pay off the drain field. The people in the office are extremely rude and unhelpful With anything. I was told that I need to speak with Linda, but Linda wouldn't get on the phone. Apparently, Miss Linda called my parents and told them that the prize jumped all the way to $22,000 without any justification on why. I would absolutely stay away from this company without the shadow of doubt. There is something going on with this company that needs to go before a judge. If they will not give me back my deposit for my parents, then this will require legal litigation. We will not allow this to happen to my parents. I was referred to Coleman Tank Solutions who then referred me to Crystal Clean Septic. Response from both companies was very prompt. The pump was replaced, hole in the holding tank repaired (they found it and showed us the hole) and the holding tank was pumped. From start to finish: 1.5 days!
