We have the new one which I definitely prefer to the one my parents had from 1988. In the office I had spoken with Sarah to set up my first inspection. Very personable, patient and had me set up within a week's time. Mike had come out to do the inspection, I unfortunately had stepped out but he took the time and explained everything that needed to be done and why over my Ring camera and Francis called me a day later to set up the cleaning. (Septic was not cleaned out from previous owner, good news is we get to start fresh!) Francis called yesterday to verify time for technician to arrive. Messiah arrived this morning, was extremely nice, explained what he was doing answered questions and that once he was done that another technician David would be by to turn off the water and let me know what we will need to do going forward. I didn't know how full the tank needed to be so an hour later I called and spoke with Francis asking if I needed to turn off the water and she said she would check in with David and put me on a brief hold. She got back on the phone not a minute later, as David was pulling up, to let me know he was almost here. Honestly, everyone who works phones should be as nice as Francis! David introduced himself, he explained about the tank once I said I was a new homeowner, I asked a million more questions which he answered every single one. Once again just so polite, patient, the staff at Cliff's is amazing! Whoever does the hiring and training A+! I went from a new nervous nellie to a well informed homeowner. My husband had to keep calling to check to see if and when they would be showing up. No courtesy call or anything. They finally showed up in the afternoon and they couldn't be bothered to stop smoking while working. On top of all that they pumped out the septic and not even all the way but said they needed to dump some water back into the tank to help with the bacteria growth which was not true. We paid almost $400 for an emergency service that was done 1/2 ass. You're stealing from your community while saying you've been providing 20 years of great service. It's been 4 months and we had to call Cliffs Septic to come do a regular maintenance service because everytime we washed clothes it smelled like sulphur. When they came the tank was completely full within 4 months which is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!! They stole our money and took advantage of an emergency that we had. Do not use this company they are thief's and you will have to pay double to get your septic dumped...once by them and then once by a reputable company. This company sucks don't use them.
