We've used John company several times before, completely painting the interior , exterior and cleaning the roof of our other home and just recently painting the exterior of our new home in Carlisle Place in Avalon. We also had his company paint the interior of Grandma's home in Brookridge. They are always professional, neat and cared about the job they do. My brother had his house painted by this company and 3 of his neighbors did, too. After seeing their houses, I knew they were the company to paint our house. I know, painting isn't in their name, but they do painting inside and outside and a whole lot more. The house we live in was built in 1974 and seriously, I don't think anything was done to it since the early 80's . . . so, you know what this house may have looked like-scary to say the least. However, when HRC&C looked at it, they assured me it could look almost new when they finished with it. They were right! I couldn't believe it! We think they did a FANTASTIC job! For those of you getting a newer house painted, it isn't that difficult to make it look good (although they do paint many newer homes), but for any of you who need an older house painted, I highly recommend this company. We contracted to have this company come out and do our enclosure and pressured washed and our pool deck done also. The price was reasonable. UNTIL, they arrived and found out that when the young lady that quoted my husband quoted the pool deck for only 3/4 of the pool deck. My husband had to call and argue with the owner of the company. Also upon my arrival home I find that they missed about 3 panels in the cleaning. read more

I think I would have been more intelligent to choose another business to clean my roof and paint my house. Lots of small damage was done, door lock had bleach water sprayed inside of it corroding the mechanism and rusting the exterior hinges same was done to a few windows, same was done around front and back door even after telling them when you are doing this water is coming into my house. My requests were ignored and afterwards when I pointed it out to the foreman I was told we didn't do that or that's not a big deal. Lots of imperfections again even after saying to one of the painters hey you don't use a piece of cardboard as a backing so you don't get any paint on my soffit's. And the reply was I've done miles of this there wont be any mistakes, well out of 200 linear fee there's at least one mistake and they guy didn't take the time to wipe away the paint either just left it and moved along. I was told we spray it on with a $5000.00 machine " when i looked at it, it looked like it was worth a few hundred at best" and that it would fill every nook and cranny. Either the machine wasn't working that well or human error happened because after 2 coats i still see area's of the prior color showing up all over the house. So I would recommend whoever does your paint to roll it on which all painters I spoke with did except this business. I'm still picking up chunks of paint and cigarette butts out of my yard. And the whole roof cleaning ugh. Now after every rain I have the little bits of gravel or whatever it is that's bonded to my shingles is now washing off all over my yard, back patio and driveway. I used to never find it around my house so when they cleaned it they must have loosened the material bonded to my shingles. So basically to sum it up if I could do it all again I would not have gotten the roof cleaned, would have gone with someone else to paint it by rolling it on.
