After saying hello to Dave, he immediately responded with; "if your dogs come near me I will defend myself". At first I thought he was kidding, because both of my dogs where behind a 6' PVC fence and were no longer barking. But he then proceeded to tell me that my dogs were viscously barking at him when he pulled up and if he had to he would defend himself. I told him my dogs were doing their job, by barking from BEHIND their PVC PRIVACY FENCE at a large truck and a stranger at their home. At this point they weren't barking anymore because they could see me standing there talking. He again doubled down on his threats to my dogs and called them vicious. At this point, I'm don't talking to Dave and call the office. The woman who answered the phone was very nice, but after I told her what happened she said that Dave had a bad experience with dogs and is scared of them. Well then maybe Dave shouldn't have a job where he visits peoples homes?? I begged the woman to pls have him come back and pump my tank bc I hadn't had a shower in 4-days. I told her I would lock my dogs in the house, but tbh I was more afraid for my dogs safety, from Dave than vice versa. She called Dave who refused to come back. I guess they have the tail wagging the dog over there ‍. I personally would not allow an employee to treat a customer in that way and then tell me that they refuse to go back. But hey... if that's how they run things over there so be it. Moral of the story is...... IF YOU HAVE DOGS DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH ALPHA ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES. They will allow their employees to cancel appointments inconveniencing their customers and threaten customers animals.

Being a contractor as well this didn't make sense so I started to look into this company. He wanted $1800 up front without doing anything. Upon further review he claims to have been in business since 1996 but the name has changed several times. He only has reported 3 annual reports according to Sunbiz in 24 years. I questioned him about his insurance and annual reports (basic business questions). He got real rude and said "if you don't want to use me then don't. Get someone else." Then walked to his car. I explained this is normal questions to ask a contractor. There is no need to be rude. I would not recommend using this company unless you are a gambler with your money. Typical contractors will write up an agreement with low to no money down. At the most 20% - 25% down. Make sure you do your research prior to hiring a company to work on your home. In comment to Alpha he had an attitude right away. He sat in his car for 10 minutes at our house while we were standing there waiting on him to get out of the car. We asked basic business questions and he didn't like it I guess. The funny thing is I said the same thing to my wife after he left. This guy is a 6'5 bully. Look at his other negative reviews online. That was my wife not girlfriend. I would recommend J & K Litton Septic Services. Very nice people and way less money than Alpha. They did a fantastic job! The best part $0 down and you paid when the job was done. You can look up Alpha's company history of changing names and not filling with Sunbiz which is a requirement. Just wanted everyone to have a heads up. You can decide for yourself. The funny thing is he mentioned he wouldn't do business with me. We actually have already done business with Alpha in the past. Something he should've been aware of. They pumped our septic 2 months ago and the employee was extremely rude as well. If you look at the other posts they say the same thing about the employee that pumped their tank. I was giving them another chance thinking the employee just had a bad day. But I guess it's just how they are. The other review was because of getting ripped off. I am sure that most home owners can agree. We have to stick together!

Tri County came to both houses and said they need a soil evaluation before they can replace the drain fields. I used their contact for the evaluation. John was a nice guy, easy to deal with. His fee was $500. John said he would submit his evaluation to Tri County and they would contact me. I did not hear from Tri County so I called them three times. Left a voice message and spoke to office personnel. Tri County has never returned my calls. I paid John the $500 I owed him and contracted with another septic company to replace both drain fields. They worked so hard - I thought the tank needed pumping but it turned out to be a large clog. After pumping and snaking, they fixed the issue, relieving 12 people in our house!!
