He then returned and replace the lid which was buried 2 ft underground and replaced it with a modern lid for easier access. Our septic system was 39 years old and in our area, most new systems result in having an high mound of dirt over the new drain field. Frank Clark from Clark Septic, came out to bid on the job the next day. He was the only company that brought out equipment to survey and be able to determine what the finished height would be, and was also to give us an out-of-the-door complete bid and cost. His bid appeared a little higher, but once you add in the soil fill loads (to be determined by other companies after the job starts) and uncertainty from other companies if an additional dosing tank may be needed, it was an easy decision. I just found the gold nugget in Oviedo, Clark Septic services. I called to have my septic pumped. Clark came out early, appt for Friday, they made it out on Tuesday. I had water coming into the shower and had told them when I made the appointment. They checked everything for me and had me come out to look. They explained maintenance and were very respectful of my grass. I could not have asked for more perfect service and sweet respectful workers. The prices are very affordable, since I had been told by other companies it would be a few hundred more. The owner came by before the workers left and inspected and HELPED the other guys and spoke to me personally. I had a new drainfield installed by Frank. Most professional and efficient operation I've seen in a long while. Frank came in and pumped my tank and immediately said I had drainfield issues. He came back and said to give and accurate quote he would need a specialist come in and take samples and measurements. I have a very tight water table to septic ratio. He explained why and the cost upfront. I agreed. The specialist came and did the measurements. Frank gave me a great estimate that afternoon. He explained all the costs to me and I gave the go ahead. A week later the crew showed up as scheduled and went to work. In 5 hours they were done. They also fixed a couple of issues with piping that they found free of charge. Frank came for payment and reduced it by $700 saying they didn't need to use as many dirt loads since my drainfield never worked and was broken from the start so they had more clean dirt than expected and could be reused. He could have easily charged me the full estimate and I would have never known the difference and I would have been fine. His upfront honesty was very welcomed. It has been several months and I have not had any septic issues for the first time in 30 years. Clark Septic is now my only septic company. read more

Had Clark Septic come out and Andy was the representative. He not only solved my problem with the septic tank pumping but noted that I probably did not need a new drain field as A1 Septic (who came by for estimate) had stated. A1 did not take septic cover off, only made a hole in lid to view. Said needed new drain field and wrote up estimate. Andy noted that the bathrooms did not flush correctly and found a line blockage. It was professionally fixed at that time. No need to call a plumber. Without their great service, I would have gone ahead and installed a $5000 drain field. Instead I paid $300 for both jobs - a real bargain. Wow HONEST people and great technicians, isn't that a rarity today. They do not have 24 hour service. We called at 6 pm six day evening and the technician who answered said they do not have 24 hour service. He suggested to call Monday and schedule. Please clarify that on the website- it makes potential customers angry (you lost this one) if you don't advertise honestly. read more
