Hello, I hurt my right knee skiing this past winter. I needed to find an Orthopedic Doctor. I found Dr Vedant Vaksha online by a Google search. He is a very warm and kind, he also does not make you wait too long. He is very clear and precise with his information he gives to you. Gibbons the receptionist is great, she is on point and makes you feel comfortable in the office. I would DEF go back to see DR. V. It was a good experience during a painful time. read more

PLEASE STAY AWAY! My son in-law went to Dr. Vedant Vaksha, MD because they told him they took his insurance. He was told that he needs surgery so they put in the claim to his insurance co. & it was denied. This doctors office told my son in-law to go to the ER on Weds. because the doctor will be there & he will get his surgery. They told him that he wouldn't have to pay for anything. I have health issues & have had enough surgeries & COMMON SENSE to know that this sounded sketchy. I called the hospital that they told him to go to & explained the situation. I was advised not to do it. Myself & my son in-law also called his insurance co. & again explained the situation. Once again we were advised not to do it because he will be liable for all the bills. Not to mention that we were told that the claim was denied because the claim was submitted as out-of-network & to our surprise this man does not except his insurance. They LIED! They called him & told him to go to the ER tonight instead WHAT? NO WAY! THIS IS CRAZY! read more

I don't think there are enough kind words in the world to describe Dr. Karkare. I had met with Dr. Karkare when I injured my clavicle and although this was many years ago, his compassionate ways always remained on my mind. When I needed to see an orthopedist this time, I searched for Dr. Karkare and feel very blessed to have located him. If Dr. Karkare wasn't so busy replacing knees and hips, I would suggest that he train other doctors on how they should treat their patients. He spent so much time with me, answered all my questions, explained everything, discussed options, and even called a physical therapist who said that I could be seen right when my appointment with Dr. Karkare was finished. Wow, just wow. In a world where people complain about how doctors are only after your money, I can assure you that Dr. Karkare is all about the patient and making sure that his/her needs are met. I left my appointment and could not wait to brag about this amazing human. The world can certainly be cruel and negative at times but I am sure that after you spend some time with this incredible person, you will see things in a completely different way. We all have enough to worry about during these challenging times but I know I don't need to worry about finding an orthopedist. I have found the best! I highly recommend (as if you couldn't tell from my prior words) Dr. Karkare for all of your orthopedic needs. I was searching for a surgeon to do a total hip replacement and one who would be able to work with my insurance. I was fortunate to find Dr. Karkare by doing an online search. I spoke with Donna at Dr. Karkare's office. She was extremely helpful in getting authorization from my insurer. Donna has the experience in working with insurers so that I did not have to concern myself with the insurance part of it and I could focus on the surgery. It was a great relief.
