They put the tarp and they said that if the leak continues that they can come back to check it out and fix it. Well, the leak continued and on January 3rd, I contacted them and the owner said he could come the following morning to asses what went wrong. That morning, Sunday January 4th, he did not show up nor answer my calls. My concern was the ceiling falling again and I let him know directly that was my concern. So, I had to desperately look for another roofing company to see what can be done to stop the leak. The other roofing company arrived and then proceeded to send me photos of what Next Gen did. THEY not only put NAILS on my roof to secure the tarp but also added Henry's tar on top of the tarp. A huge mess! They applied it all like peanut butter. And, now I had to hire someone to remove their tarp, with nails and all that tar on top of the plastic. A huge mess! I am extremely disappointed. The photos that I have attached is the outcome of what Next Gen did. The other roofer I had to hire, added a thicker tarp over the work Next Gen did. The other company however, didn't add nails, they secured their heavy duty tarp with bean bags and heavy duty tape. Needless to say, the leak finally stopped. I do not like the fact that Next Gen added nails to my roof. It made things worse. I only speak of my experience because I thought he would be reliable and they were not. They also used a thin tarp that seemed more like plastic. I am aware that these tarps are temporary but for one day? The other company I had to hire to fix their work had a thicker tarp. It surely helped stop the leak. Now, I am stuck with 3 inch nails in my roof that made more holes and that will need to be properly sealed to prevent further leaks. There are around dozens of nails made in my roof by Next Gen. I have an attached a photo of how the nails look.

We hired Aaron Young with Smoother Strokes out of a Facebook post on which we were looking for…read morepainters. Many people recommended him, and so we gave him a call. He came to give us an estimate almost immediately upon calling him. Fortunately for us, he was able to do the job right away. Although the job took a little longer than expected, the final results were great. The price was right and most importantly, two of his workers, Dave and Johnny were easy to talk to, knowledgeable regarding their line of work, hardworking guys with strong work ethic. Aaron went above and beyond to meet our needs and ensure we were always happy with the work being done. We had several repairs and added a bit of extra work along the way which he did not mind. He knows how to take care of his customers. However, the reason for the three stars review is due to Francisco. Francisco is an insolent worker who did nothing but cause damage to our property and cost Aaron more time and money when it came to the job site. During the time it took to complete the job, Francisco was the only constant employee that was assigned to do most of the work. Aaron was in and out of the property as he was also overlooking other jobs. Needless to say, Francisco was running his own show. Upon kindly requesting that he be cautious as to not damage our landscaping even after we had trimmed twelve inches off the bushes from the wall for access, he still damaged them right in front of us by stabbing them with the ladder carelessly. Many times he was caught placing tools on the plants to his convenience. He painted the window sills and overpainted onto the windows, on several windows. He was also asked to paint a French door which was also overpainted. All of our landscape and pebble decking was over sprayed. Plants can be trimmed, but the floor can not. We need to hire someone to come out and remove the paint. He was in charge of removing light fixtures and placing them back up. At the end of the job, one of the lights was wired incorrectly. We had to wire properly. Another light fixture was left loose off the wall. I also had to fix it. During the two weeks it took to complete the job, we mentioned to Aaron Francisco's lack of respect and poor work ethic. Although Aaron did address the issue with him, as well as Johnny, Francisco displayed a negative attitude the last few days of the job. Upon being asked to clean up the over paint on the windows and doors he stated that he wasn't getting paid to paint over what he had over painted. His attitude was so intolerable that Johnny had to pull him aside to address his attitude in front of us. From that moment on everything was an issue with him. He began to mock us and make a big deal out of every detail. Aaron was more than apologetic towards us for his workers behavior. It has been a few days since the job was finished and we have finally placed everything back in place. While doing so, we found out that most of the window screens were placed inside out. Almost seems like it was done on purpose and with malice as it was one of the last things that he did as well as the light. I will not hesitate to hire Aaron, Johnny, and Dave, but as far as having Francisco, all I can say is DO NOT ALLOW HIM TO WORK ON YOUR HOME.

My AC malfunctioned on a hot day causing water to leak into the attic floor and it came out of my ceiling. I caught it in time! I filed a claim with my insurance company- State Farm - who referred me to two big water damage mitigation vendors - ServePRO and ServiceMaster. ServePRO told me I would need the ceiling removed before they even came out to see the damage. They did a visual inspection, used no meters and did not go into the attic and said the whole thing needed to be removed. They were a "preferred vendor." ServePRO also said I would need other contractors for the reconstruction work and that would take at least a few weeks. And ServiceMaster demanded an asbestos test before they even did anything which would add weeks. Dave and Santos from Flood Relief Inc did both visual and electronic meter inspections, and they found the water had been confined to one small area and never reached the walls. They also inspected the floor and found it was also fine since I caught the leak in time. (ServePRO was trying to take photos of the floor when I told them there was no damage there!) Luckily, FloodRelief concluded the damage was so minimal that no ceiling areas needed to be removed. They are able to treat the area with antimicrobial agents and dry the structure with huge fans and dehumidifiers. They also told me the job was so small that they wouldn't even need charge me what the deductible was for the insurance claim so I was able to cancel the claim. This was a very honest move since they would have been paid much more by my insurance company if they had recommended removal. These two gentlemen also came right away when I called and were so friendly and respectful and professional. I am extremely grateful to these honest guys who saved me money, time and sanity. They put me at ease during a stressful situation. I was very impressed with their stellar service! Out of 10, FloodRelief, Inc. is an 11.

Even the insurance company was impressed. Highly recommend.  About 4 months ago, my parents were out of the country on a month-long trip. About 2 weeks into their trip, my brother and I discovered that their entire first floor was flooded due to a high-pressure leak in a downstairs bathroom. Based on some outside surveillance footage and meter information, we estimated that it had been leaking a few thousand gallons a day for 3-4 days. My brother and I were just dumbstruck and overwhelmed by what this meant for the house. All the hardwood flooring, walls, base moldings, cabinetry, furniture had all been soaking for days. Water was literally seeping out through all the outer walls of the house. The formal living room, which is situated a step down and is about 5 inches lower than the rest of the house, had become a reflecting pool holding about 1000 gallons of water. (I'll try to include pictures) My brother did a google search and we found Dave, and we're really glad we did. Despite that it was already Friday evening, he arrived within the hour. As soon as he got out of his van, he was focused on taking away our stress and calmly informed us about the next steps and what we could expect throughout the process. He immediately took control of the situation and he and his team worked tirelessly through the evening and late into the night to vacuum up all the free water. And he was back bright and early the next day.  Throughout the next week or so, Dave and his team thoroughly dried the walls and the floors and demolished and pulled out whatever wasn't salvageable. They were meticulous and cleaned as they went and tried to make it as comfortable for me as possible since I decided to stay over while all of this was going on. They found some mold as well as a dead colony of bees, a dead bird, and some trash from the initial builders inside of our walls and he carefully cleaned and remediated as needed. Dave dealt with the contents company, the environmental inspection firm (checking for mold), and our insurance company so that it was pretty effortless and seamless for us.  From what we could tell, Dave was a consummate professional. That was further confirmed by our insurance company. Once Dave's work was completely finished, the insurance company sent out an adjuster and a contractor to inspect and to complete their estimates. Dave was there to help answer their questions since he knew the layout and the problems better than any of us at that point. After Dave left, they commented that his work was really thorough and that they could tell Flood Relief Inc was really trustworthy and top-notch. So... even the professionals were impressed. To top it all off, despite that Dave's company finished its work at my parents house in October of 2017, because of some delays from the insurance company, Dave only just got paid this month in February 2018. Dave was patient and never bothered us personally with this. We're so grateful that we had Dave during what could've been an otherwise very stressful time. I hope you never have to deal with water damage, but if you do, don't hesitate to call Flood Relief Inc.!

He took care of all the demo and haul away work, and re-grading! I really appreciated that he spent a lot of extra time with me in the beginning, planning and designing the whole concept. There were several ways my RV parking pad could be formed and poured, and Sergio guided me to the best solution, for aesthetics, drainage, and total cost. He treats every job as if it were at his own house and puts forth tremendous craftsmanship in his work. He is extremely professional and has over 12 years experience in commercial, residential, large scale, small scale including public works like streets and sidewalks. I made the mistake of giving him a $1,200 deposit. This was October 23, 2025. He never came back to do the job, and he didn't refund my money. He kept promising to return it , but he never did it. According to some reviews, he has done the same thing to several others. Also, his license is inactive.
