Where do I start? I had multiple bids for our turf project but went with Andrew since his price was the most competitive and he seemed very knowledgeable. We installed the turf over our existing concrete that already had drains. One area pooled a bit and Andrew said he would fix it the day of installation. The day of installation Andrew showed up with another person, he put some quick dry concrete down in the spot that pooled and disappeared. His helper was there by himself the entire day, and I only heard from Andrew again when he called to tell me our turf was melting (as it was being installed) from our windows! This was never a concern brought up before installation and they should have haunted installation when they saw it happening! Fast forward to having to keep our turf covered for a week until we could have a window film put on our windows (that cost as much as the turf!) to keep the windows from melting the turf. After installation, Andrew was going to come back to remove and replace the two sections of turf that had melted. He sent his day -laborer who didn't speak a word of English the day of our house warming party. He disappeared to get infill for the grass when I caught him trying to use playground sand and didn't come back until our party was 15 minutes from starting. Fast forward to now and the turf smells horrendous, doesn't drain, and I found out he never used any more than a few handfuls of infill on it. He also just tacked the edges down with a bit of calking so it has since peeled up and we discovered that there are 6 different patches in the lawn (in addition to the two we knew about from the melted patches) that should have been 2 pieces. I contacted Andrew for a solution and to see if he would do what's right and fix the issues. Surprised he never responded? Me neither. save yourself a headache and hire someone else. Don't be fooled by this guy -- you won't even see him again past getting your check! Now we are having to pay to have the turf removed and someone else come and install it with drainage squares that were supposed to be used over concrete in the first place. read more
