The mechanic was repeatedly rude to me for 2 simple vehicle inspections. Stated I needed an appointment, which I had, both times. On one of those occasions, I waited for 10 minutes in the front. He then came in and told me I was 13 minutes late, again with a rude tone. My wife had an appointment for an oil change, and I was suffering medical issues, so I kept the appointment, dismissing his bad attitude as maybe he was having a bad day. Twice. After charging her almost $200 for the oil change and an air filter, he suggested she purchase a new battery and have him install it for additional charges, I inspected his work when she got home. I noticed he broke a bolt off in the skid plate, and left it. My vehicle also has a 2 piece oil filter, which appeared to be unchanged. I tested the battery, which was good, and had it replaced a year later, at the local auto supply store, for zero labor charge. The woman was friendly, as was he toward my wife, but not to me. Extremely rude and unprofessional, and I had to drill out a bolt from his mistake. Over charged and underserved. Not recommended, and not going back. read more

In the last year, I've taken all my family's vehicles to Mark and his team at Complete Autoworks. Hands down the best mechanic in Dripping Springs or anywhere else. Lexus, Mercedes, Honda and Toyota. Perfect service on all vehicles at an affordable price. They resolved a perpetual oil leak that three other mechanics described as "car just burns a lot of oil". I've been bringing my 2017 Lexus to Marc for a while now, and I can't recommend him enough. Our son also takes his 2014 Tacoma to Marc. He is hands down one of the most honest and reliable mechanics I've ever worked with. What stands out to me is that he's not about upselling or pushing unnecessary repairs. He gives thoughtful, practical recommendations and always tries to save me money where possible. He has been very helpful by making reasonable recommendations to my son, who pays for his own vehicle repairs. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and their vehicles. My partner and I had been very happy with the service at Complete Autoworks, up until yesterday. I stopped by because I had a rapidly deflating tire. I asked if they could check it out and fix it. I was told that they do not do tire work, and they refused to help. We have brought both of our cars to this establishment many times and spent thousands of dollars. In the past, we were told that they found a nail in a tire while doing other work, and fixed it. Apparently, they do tire work, but only if you don't ask for it, and if it is in the context of a more expensive job. Loyalty goes both ways. Complete Autoworks has not recognized or respected our loyalty. read more

I wanted to support my local businesses and stopped in to see about bringing my kid's car into the shop. I walk in and there is no one at the desk. A shorter guy walks in from the garage and asks if I needed any help. I inquired about bringing my kid's car in. He did not seem interested in helping me as he replied, "No, we can not do that." and continued on to the back of the shop. He made zero effort to even look at my kid's car, or see what the problem was, or even make an attempt to assist me. He pretty much told me, "Can not help you" and ignored me as he walked to the back. If this is the level of service this guy is going to offer at his local shop, he is not going to be in business very long. I ended up taking my kid's car to another local shop who was more than happy to assist me, fixed the problem and did not ignore me like this guy did. read more

Mark at Complete Autoworks is a friendly, helpful, and manages to have the beat interests of BOTH your automobile and wallet at heart. Auto service here is a collaborative effort between Mark and the auto owner, and he is great a laying out a list of must-haves and good-to-haves for your vehicle, without any pressure or upselling. Unfortunately, I am moving out of the area so will have to start the quest for a good mechanic all over again, but if you are just moving to the Dripping Springs area, I can't recommend Complete Autoworks any stronger! read more

I accidentally stumbled across this garage, Complete Auto in Dripping Springs. I decided to bring a car in due to be a mile or so from my house. I noticed right off that the garage was absolutely spotless and the owner came out to greet me shaking my hand. We began to talk and found out that we had a lot in common with engines cars racing etc I let him work on my car minor repair and inspection. However, I had recently purchased a dodge hellcat with extreme modifications and after speaking with mark, the owner, I was confident in bringing that specialized vehicle with over 1100 horsepower to him to put in a new clutch. I dropped my car off there and I was contacted within an hour by the owner stating we were going to work on it this is the clutch he recommends and why. We had a long discussion on what clutch is and why he recommended a triple-disc clutch when the current` was only a double. He did a lot of research on this subject and was very knowledgeable. My car stayed in his garage for three days and he contacted me at least once a day to give me status and they follow up with his highly unusual in this industry. When I finally picked up the car he gave me a list of what he did and I found it to be extremely honest. He also wanted to go for a drive with me in the car to show me how their work performs and more importantly how to break in a high-performance clutch. Mark was a NASCAR racer for years and knows engines and related well. After talking in detail with mark again I decided that he will be my go to garage for all of my cars and the next project on the hellcat is a supercharger upgrade which mark is looking into and providing many options. This is just not a run of the mill mechanic this guy knows how to build cars, and can work on anything from VW to a supercar and has raced professionally so understands engines like no other.....and to boot is one heck of a nice man who I enjoyed just stopping by and talking with him when in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend Mark and complete auto and Dripping Springs for any car service. His knowledge is broad he's extremely honest and will be pleased with what work he does. These people are beyond rude. The man I spoke to on the phone was rude when I asked him if there was a way for me to get home while they fixed my car (i only live 3 miles away so i thought MAYBE they would offer a ride). Nope. Just "most people have a ride". Yeah, i get that. Then when I took it in anyway after making an appt., I arrived right on time & I parked kind of goofy just so I could run in and find out if they wanted it in the bay or not. They did not greet me with "hi, can you park your car in x". They just rudely said "you can't park there". I asked where I could park it and they showed me a spot right in front of their doors. It would have been so easy to have said that in the first place. But instead, they told me again not to park where I was parked AFTER I had already told them I wasn't planning to park there, just wanted to run in for info. Needless to say, I left and will not be back. read more
