I've been going to Grease Monkey for several years, and always had a great experience getting oil changes and regular maintence on my Corolla. A few weeks ago I found that my hood prop and clip were missing, so I ordered the parts and asked Grease Monkey if they would install it for me. They had me come in the day I called, and did a great job. Best of all, they didn't charge me! I tried to tip the mechanic but he wouldn't let me. I've been taking my vehicles there for several years and have had generally good service. I took my camper van for an oil change and had a less the satisfactory experience. 1. I have acrylic windows and always ask specifically to not clean them due to not knowing what cleaning product and cloth used by them. Had I not been in the vehicle during service I would have not been able to stop them from starting to clean them after I requested this to not be done. 2. This is not only at Grease Monkey that I have had this issue..I told the fellow checking tire pressure that I had come from a shop that had just rotated the tires and set the pressure. The guy said pressure was a few pounds higher than specifically. They did not seem to know the difference between cold tire vs hot tire pressure readings. When I checked cold pressure the next morning all tires were 10% or greater lower than specifically. 3. Most importantly I was returning home and my check engine light came on. I immediately returned to Grease Monkey for diagnosis. It was a high oil pressure code..meaning the oil was overfilled. They did respond to my concerns and pumped out oil to get the issue resolved, but it was very stressful for me to deal with. If you have a sports car, this is not your place. I brought my new Porsche Cayenne here and waited almost an hour. The owner told me they were having problems getting the plug to my oil pan off but they would get it. Then another 20min goes by and he tells me they had no luck, and to come back M-F in the afternoon when the "really" strong guy was in. I was a little scared at this point, and decided to take it to the dealership, who then sent me this pic. I am waiting for my estimate and hoping the oil pan itself has not been damaged. The plug is so stripped it has to be drilled out. This is not acceptable. I should send grease monkey the bill. read more

What amazing service! After stopping by the ol brick and mortar fire stone who did not have any state inspection personnel onsite at the time (Saturday at 9am) though I asked before coming, said to come on in. Arrived only to find out they did NOT have anyone onsite. Grease Monkey should have been my first call and stop but I went against my better judgment. The owner in the photo above and his wife were MORE THAN ACCOMMODATING! Typically they do not perform state inspections on a Saturday but he said to come on in. Arrived and they were swamped so I really appreciate the them going above and beyond even though it was only for a STATE INSPECTION. This is truly a mom and pop shop feel/experience with a modern sprinkler. I loved the shop! The employee's / technician looked quite young which I think we need more of in this world. An opportunity to prove one's self and also learn from an older generation. Also, it was a Saturday so I thought to myself, maybe they bring in the "younger" crew during the weekend to give the "old men" during the week a day off haha. I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes to take in the experience and workflow. It was very nostalgic to see these teenagers crank some wrenches!! The chain of command and workflow was amazing! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The owners wife was a real breath of fresh air- kind, funny, and meant business all in the same 3 minute conversation! Love love love!!! Simply put, a wonderful business run by wonderful people. I recently had an issue changing my oil at home with a stuck oil filter. Called Grease Monkey to see if they could help, and they advised me over the phone, confirmed they had a tool/part specific to what I needed, and invited me up to have them look at it immediately. My car ran out of gas right next to this grease monkey on my way to work. I had to pull over in the median of the highway. I can not emphasize how kind and helpful the employees were. Though they obviously didn't have any gas on site, one of the employees went with a jerrycan and got gas for me from the gas station. Upon arriving back he went out to my car so I didn't have to cross the highway in heels, filled it up for me and drove it back across the highway. So friendly. They really do their best to respect your business, your time, and your wallet. Very transparent with no sleazy upsells. If they tell you you need something, such as a new air filter, you can tell that you actually do. I got lucky trying this place after I moved to The Drip a few months ago. These guys and gals are terrific! Wife and I have been there several times now and services ranged from oil changes, to tire checks, to battery replacements. The staff has always been extremely friendly, the waiting area has cold drinks and TV, and there's outside picnic tables in case you feel like enjoying the weather. Ram 3500 DRW: I've been coming here for a year. So a hand full of times for an oil change filters and inspection on my 3500 dual RW. They have been consistently reliable, honest and very fast. It is first come first serve for walk in oil changes but they do move very quickly. The pit crew is always very nice. read more

I called before I went to this location to verify price and wait time. Was told only 1 car in the bay and to come on over. Got to the location and who I assume was the Manager tells me the wait is an hour as he sent ALL the Techs to lunch. Who sends the entire staff to lunch at once...and...who tells someone who calls in advance they will have no wait time and to drive to their shop and THEN send everyone out. So kind!!! I was accidentally 8 dollars off and they were so nice about it and added a discount. The waiting area is very nice.

I only had a state inspection done. It was very efficient. It wasn't very busy when I arrived, pulled around to the back they greeted me and we went though some safety features. Then they took the car and I went inside to a very clean and comfortable waiting area. The advisors were very friendly and informative. I had my car back in about 15-20 minutes. I will return to try other services when needed but will always come back here for an inspection too. read more
