I brought my 2018 Street Glide in for a transmission repair. After the work and a test ride, I was told it now needed about $8,500 in engine repairs due to alleged lifter failure and a damaged lifter bore. Before approving that, I got a second opinion from an independent Harley-Davidson shop in Florida. They found a different issue: the primary chaincase had no lubricant. After refilling the fluid and replacing the primary cover gasket, the ticking noise attributed to major engine damage disappeared. The technician also noted the lifter bore damage was unlikely to be the cause. The engine work was never done because I declined it. Since the transmission repair had already been completed, it's unclear why the primary chaincase was empty after the service and test ride. This resulted in over $6,100 in out-of-pocket costs, not including a canceled Sturgis trip, lost PTO, travel expenses, and lost time with family. I attempted to resolve this privately with the dealership before posting, but was unable to reach a satisfactory resolution. While mistakes can happen, I'm concerned that an apparent incomplete transmission repair was followed by a recommendation for a major engine overhaul rather than identifying the actual issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend House of Harley-Davidson's service department. I encourage riders to consider other options until improvements are made in workmanship, quality control, and accountability. If the dealership ultimately takes responsibility and resolves this fairly, I will update this review accordingly.

It was absolutely massive, loaded with cheese, ridiculously rich, and every bite was delicious. The cheesy bacon cracks were downright obscene in the best possible way. Pure indulgence. Great food, great drinks, fair prices, and portions that don't mess around. You definitely won't leave here hungry.

It is a ln old school, classic vibe. I enjoyed all the sports decor and memorabilia on the walls. Right off the bat, one of the things that stood out to me was how incredibly affordable this place was! Looking at the prices, I was surprised that you could get a burger here for around twelve bucks including fries. That's like fast food prices. Most restaurants charge way more than that and don't include fries, so this place is an amazing bargain! We got their cheese balls, which were cheese curds. These were not bad. I do prefer a more beer battered curd, but I didn't mind these. I also got a bacon cheeseburger called The Loser. In reality, it tastes like a winner. The bread bun is amazing, so soft and fresh. The burger is juicy and flavorful. It's also not too crazy big where all the toppings fall apart. The fries were also crispy and tasty. Our server was also very kind and attentive. She gave us sugar cookies at the end of our meal, which was a nice treat. Overall, I enjoyed coming here. I would come here again to catch a game and enjoy a drink and some bites. You get a decent burger that is also a good bang for your buck.

Met friends at Zaffiro's for dinner, a place they consider one of their favorites. They have always…read moreraved about how incredible the pizza is, and I have to agree. This old school, family owned restaurant is very much a neighborhood classic that has stood the test of time. The thin crust is the perfect base for the amazingly tangy Italian sauce. The toppings are generously portioned, and the pizza (available in 12" & 14") is cut into squares, which make it all too easy to eat more! We started with the fried mushrooms and eggplant, which were very generously sized. Our table of four barely made a dent. The breading on both was great, trapping in the heat, flavors and firmness of the veggies. The eggplant especially, which in my experience can be mushy, was excellent. I loved how it was served with lemon wedges. The tartness of the lemon mixed with the zest of the marinara sauce made the eggplant something I could have eaten just by itself. The restaurant has a bar area first, then a dining room adjacent. The tables here are packed in pretty tight. We ended up at a corner table, and could bump elbows with the people sitting next to us. Still, everyone was respectful of each other's space and no issues were had. Our servers maneuvered through effortlessly and quickly.

Every time I go, I always think, "They come to take orders or simply check on us the perfect amount"--I know they want to ensure I've got everything I need but they don't feel overbearing (this is regarding servers or the bartender). Finally, I order the same thing each time: garden salad with house Italian dressing and the special pizza (sausage, mushroom, onion). Salad is crisp and the pizza is consistent--the best.
