Everyone has their own unique experience with anyone else whether person or entity. I was notified by Yelp that the owner wrote a note to my first rating and I took the opportunity to read a number of other comments. This is NOT to discount anyone's experience but rather to let others know there are always two sides, often due to mitigating circumstances often beyond one's control. Terry was exceedingly patient and sensitive to my personal situation at the time of purchase. I had no doubt he was being honest with me and truly wanted me to experience owning a motorcycle and be safe using it. Ironically, the owners of the cycle training school (motorcycling enterprises) I went to were friends of his and recommended I talk with him. I would take my bike in at the start of every riding season to make sure it was road worthy and just before winter hit and I couldn't ride I had service check things out so if something was needed it could be done before I couldn't ride it home for winter storage. The service folks were truly awesome guys, also very honest and helpful as well as really accommodating. If people knew me; what I've been through; and that I'm super critical and hard to trust others; for me to say that I never once felt SE was out to cheat me in any way and that I had full faith in them making sure that my bike was fully safe to ride, you'd know how much I like SE and their crew. I've lost touch with Terry and I regret that. I'll blame it on 'life happens'! Fortunately, I'm still friends with the retired school owners. I have been shopping for a Can Am Spyder RT and came across a used one with low miles and they advertised "purchase online" and "Nationwide delivery available". I went back and forth with the salesman over text. He was pleasant enough, thus the extra star in this review. He even told me they have a couple shippers they use or I could set up my own. My email got blown up with emails from shippers everywhere. Shipping wasn't too much. Today, I told them I wanted to buy it and have financing through USAA and would send a deposit. The salesman then tells me that I would have to come in to do the paperwork. What? I'm a disabled veteran using USAA, it's not a fear of fraud. The only thing I can figure is, they wanted me to finance through them so they could make an extra $500. So, screw the vet. He doesn't matter. Don't falsely advertise Nationwide shipping and online purchase if it's all a lie. Makes me wonder what else they are lying about. read more

They have good sales once in a while, but that's about where the good things end. I purchased a new motorcycle from them at the end of April 2024. My salesperson was Kyle and Chad did the paperwork. Since I was coming from another state, I intended to register it with DMV myself. The problems started when I discovered that the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) and the odometer statement were not included in the documents package. These were needed to register a vehicle with the DMV and receive a title. I promptly called back and spoke with Chad, who assured me that their policy was to mail the documents within 5 business days. A week passed by without any documents in sight. I called again and was assured that the documents are "almost on the way," asked for a tracking number but was not provided one. At some point their CEO/President John got involved that seemed to help speed the things up. The documents finally arrived in 16 days after much of my time wasted on making multiple phone calls and sending emails. That's not the kind of the service one would expect from a place that charges $299 (the state allowed maximum) in document fees! Here are a few tips if you decide to deal with this business: 1. Don't leave the premises without all the documents in your hands! If you come from out of state and they insist that the title or the MCO is not available at that time for whatever reason - at least get a signed paper stating by what date you should receive them and that a failure to do so voids the purchase agreement. A notarized copy is even better and there are plenty of local banks that can offer that service. 2. If you are buying a used vehicle - take it to another shop for a full inspection without putting many (preferably any) miles on it. That way, if the shop discovers issues not disclosed to you at the time of the sale, which take $$$$ to fix - you will have an inspection report to prove it and take action. 3. Pay at least a portion of the sale price by a credit card. They have a "no personal checks" policy and prefer to get all the money in cash or by a cashier's check. Don't do that! With a credit card, it is easy to dispute and reverse the charges in case you discover any problems later, especially if you have documentation showing them being at fault. 4. Don't hesitate to walk out of a deal if everything is not up to your satisfaction and if anything looks suspicious! You may be paying a little more elsewhere, but it can save you a lot of time. read more

Shady and unprofessional. Simple oil change, quoted $100 paid $150. Bike dirty and with a fresh scratch that of course they wouldn't take ownership of from a spotless clean bike. Did not call when service was done, I had to reach out to them and was told they 'lost electricity' then we had to rush to get there if we wanted to pick up the bike the same day with 40 minutes until closing. After paying the above estimated price by 50% we were blocked in as they were loading up another bike that was sold. Big parking lot, instead they took up the alley with which people had to retrieve their serviced bikes from so we couldn't even leave after all of the previous annoyances. Overall just feels like a grimy place, the owner is always looking down and away from your eyes as soon as they got your money they couldn't give a lesser shite about you. Salesmen types, onto the next sale. Definitely looking to go elsewhere for future needs, this was an absolute last option type of place and we were hesitant coming here and always trust your gut instinct. read more

5 stars for Torre (sales person) -3 stars for the owner John. To make a long story short, my wife and I were in the market for her first bike (z125) and the only place we could find in a commutable distance that had them was southeast sales. I saw them late at night and I figured I would call the next morning, check inventory, and get final pricing. I made my first call checking on the bike to ensure it was there and then a 2nd call to notify him that I was coming so they could have the bike ride ready. When getting the details i was on the phone with John confirming my time I would be there and it initially seemed like I was causing a burden. I was wrapping up the call I said alright we will see you soon and then got hung up on (this kind of left a bad taste but we wanted the bike so I still went for it) We arrived slightly earlier then anticipated but the bike was ready, Torre greeted us and started getting the paperwork. Upon discussion he asked how did we want to take care of payment and I said we will put some in cash and the rest on the card, he asked if John mentioned anything about that I said no he didn't which was the truth. He then explained that they have to pay a fee for the card so they don't like doing that but he can talk to John and get the approval. He talked to John then he went on the phone, he got off the phone and he asked him again and John said "well they came all the way from Green Bay with no cash, so I guess so.. Torre then apologized for his response. I looked at my wife and said wow, that's nice sorry I'm bothering you buying a bike, I didn't know I needed cash since it was a dealer???? I will be fair the bike we getting is probably one of the cheapest ones they sell but they listed it for 2350 and by the time they add it all the other fees and charges it was 3250. Out experience with Torre wasn't bad he answered questions and got us all loaded up, pretty basic but was helpful. I would never buy another bike from there again,even if it means paying more or even through the manufacture getting it shipped. With this being my wife's first bike, the experience and excitement we had the morning we decided to come get it was diminished upon leaving. As a business owner myself, if you treat customers that way, it's probably time to sell the business and look into something else, maybe it was a bad day, but it's an experience we won't get back. read more

This post should be considered a warning to buying from out of state from this business.After placing a deposit and applying for a loan from my credit union,I received a text at 10:30 pm on sunday night from salesman stating I had a problem,as a result of them trying to cash the check without sending bill of sale to.my bank,(clearly stated on check front!)after having 5 different phone calls,even merging the lender with salesman,they dumped the problem on me.one cancelled check and 9 pages of new loan app later,my bike eventually shipped.worst sales experience of my life.make sure everything is done correctly before handing these folks money or it will become your problem.john and torre were the primary sales suspects.no way to run any business.bike is fine,as advertised,service was absolutely horrible. read more

The purpose of this review is not to bash a company but to simply give an honest account of my experience. It was my first time ever buying a motorcycle and so I decided to look on Facebook marketplace which is where I found their company, I saw that they were selling bikes at great prices and so I decided to give them a call to find out more information. The person I spoke with was named John. After speaking with John and asking about the motorcycles he agreed to take $200 off of bike that I wanted. So we set an appointment for 4:30, he also stated that they don't take any type of debit or credit and it's cash only. I should have known something was up then, because I've never heard of a motorcycle or any vehicle business at this particular time in modern day only accepting cash and nothing else, and another red flag was when I got there, my total went from taking off $200 and then adding $400 in "fees and taxes." Anyway, got the cash out for the motorcycle and went to my appointment and that's when things got worse. I arrived and waited for John to greet me for my appointment, instead he walked in and the receptionist told me who John was and after introducing myself, John didn't even say hi, he didn't even acknowledge me in any way, but I saw that he was busy so I thought maybe it was that. I saw a bigger selection of bikes once there and so I wanted to look at all of my options before settling on the original decision, which is what most new motorcycle owners will do. John kept telling me that these other bikes are more expensive, he said it in a way that implied that I would not be able to afford them, but I had more than enough money to get the higher range bikes without any type of financing, i wanted to be prepared for changing my mind, but he did not know that. The entire time I was there, I may have said a few words to John but he had no interest in helping me at all, he kept running around and helping other customers that had walked in. He would not look at me and he didn't try to help me make a decision as a good salesman would do, instead the receptionist was a bigger help than he was. So, finally I decided that I'm going to just get the bike I originally came for and when he went to start it, it didn't work. Instead he blamed it on me and asked did I touch anything on it!! He concluded, that it was probably the gas and so I followed him as he rode the bike out to the back, I didn't know I was not supposed to go back there and he did know that I was behind him when he told the mechanic that something was wrong with the throttle, I was confused because he just said it was not working because of gas and he seemed to know right away what issue was with that bike, also it was dirty and rusted and he didn't even try to clean it before I got there. Not wanting to risk it, I decided to ask him about a different bike and he said that it was already sold, I looked outside and saw the exact bike he was saying was sold and when I confronted him about it he said well that one was more expensive and I'm not going to come down on the price and you can't afford that one.I was floored and insulted at this statement, I work in the financial industry and make a lot more than he does even on his best sales day, and to add to the situation he didn't even look at me while he was saying this and instead left out afterwards to go help another customer while I'm still standing there in the dealership. After being insulted enough, I said I'm going to go somewhere else, he didn't make any attempt to stop me or to find out why, he just said okay and that was the end of it. I will never go to this place again and I would like to warn other customers, primarily the ones who identify as minorities to be careful doing business with this place, because John will judge you based on his small view of life and I was judged. I'm not the one to play that card, because in my industry I work very hard to help people from all walks of life and I will continue to do so, because idiots like this do not deserve to change who I am. Anyway this is my review I hope someone who's new to buying a bike or or just looking to buy an affordable bike from a dealership will be forewarned and know that there are better places (Sportland 2). Also, take advantage of the great deals that private sellers have, though there's more risk in terms of mechanical issues, but after going to Southeast sales they're just as risky. In conclusion, I got a better bike from a private seller at a better price and I am very happy with my choice. took my bike here to get a coolant leak fixed and the service was just the way i would want it to be. took a little while for them to get the parts all the way from japan, but they always gave a firm answer as to where they were at with progress. the service manager "Jo" was fantastic to work with and was always there to answer my questions and understood that with the approaching riding season, i wanted to be back riding ASAP. the price was also very reasonable, this place will definitely get my service again! read more
