Took it right back they cleared the code and sent me on my way.... 4 days later while driving on the hiway service transmission came back on while doing 110 km/hr and lost all power down to 65 km/hr. Took it back in and 2 weeks for diagonstics. told me it was this it was that.... after 3 months they told me it was my transmission..... then it was my battery, got my vehicle back 4.5 months later. I still don't belive it was my transmission

With all the dealerships around that would welcome your business, I would either carry a personal voice recorder to ensure what was really said or just steer clear of these guys. Everything, including the air in the tires was a la carte. Final price just kept growing faster than the sales manager's nose. They sold My Hubby a 2016 truck, put the roadside & extended warranty in My name and then mailed him a "Thank you for buying a 2014 Ram" owner's pamphlet. Absolutely NOTHING went right with this purchase. Nice truck. That is all.

For the past 12 months I have had one of my vehicles serviced at Competition Chevrolet in Stony Plain; I will not be returning. Here are a few of the reasons I will not be returning: 1) When performing tire maintenance, mismatched sized tires were installed on the rear-end. 2) Upon returning to their shop to discuss the issue, I requested that the rear-end fluid be changed; this was not done. Subsequently the vehicle was again returned and it was noted that the rear-end fluid was low, so it was topped up, but still not changed. 3) After changing engine oil, oil fill-cap not reinstalled; this resulted in oil throughout the engine compartment. 4) Rear seal replaced a number of times before diagnosing rear yoke issue. (I am sure they would have continued to change the seal if I had not called and asked a few questions!) 5) When changing engine oil, maintenance personnel tracked oil and grime into the vehicle. 6) They continually fail to correctly fill out window sticker date and mileage when next oil change due. Although all of these issues have been resolved, it required numerous telephone calls (some to General Motors of Canada) and regularly returning the vehicle before they could get it right.

Had to get a brand new engine at 67,000 km. How does that even happen?! And now they want us to pay $5000 when we literally just paid $3000 a month ago to get it fixed and countless other times we have had to take it to get fixed. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! They have lied to us saying that the brand new engine has 3 year warranty meaning they would need to pay the $5000 but then we get a call back saying that actually it's a 2 year warranty just so they can make us dump more money into the most UNSAFE UNRELIABLE vehicle we have ever purchased!!!! Do not step foot into this place because all they care about is $$$.

I was an extremely satisfied Instamek customer today as they went above and beyond to help me get…read moreout of a tough situation. I parked my car at the Kinsmen centre last night and when I got out it wouldn't start. Luckily my wife was in the area and was able to pick me up and bring me home. The next morning I called Instamek before getting dropped off at my office letting them know about the issue. They asked me a few questions to try and diagnose the problem and said they would fit me in immediately. I was able to leave my car key in the mailbox at my house, the mechanic drove all the way to home to pick it up while I was at work. He then went and fixed my car and left my key in the inside of my wheel well exactly as I had instructed them to do. This was all done before noon....and the repair cost me less than $100! Very impressed at their ability to go out of their way to make sure I was able to get back driving same day AND I didn't have to re-arrange my day to deal with meeting a mechanic or calling a tow truck.
