These guys are the biggest scam artists no idea how they have such good reviews. Last year went to smog my truck and one of my part numbers was wrong so they said it wouldn't pass. Which isn't a problem, but boy were these guys happy to tell me they'd do it illegally for 350$! Then come to find out they marked my vehicle as tampered with so no one else wanted to smog my truck cause it was "high risk". Called them again this year to give it another shot. Got a quote for 150$ smog on a 97 jeep. Other star certified shops in the area were charging 60-70 btw. Hate to bring a business down but these guys deserve it. read more

Nice and respectful guys here BUT, My previous Smog guy passed away recently who Ive been going to for over 20 years. Not only was he an old guy, he did my smog checks BY HIMSELF, had me out in/out in 20 mins and never charged me more than $70 (OBD1) These guys here have 2-3 guys working on the 1 car, took over 45 mins and charged me $100 after trying to 1st charge me $140. Seams like they dont like doing the extra work on OBD1 so they try and scare you away by overcharging for it. Well it worked. I wont be coming back. I called around 12 to check what their hours were but when I arrived at 4pm the guy was sleeping. I knocked on the desk a few times and he woke up for a second and went back to sleep. So I knocked again and he finally got up. He approached me mumbling something completely incoherently. He was trying to speak English I think but gave up and ran into the bathroom he was In there for about 2 minutes with the water running and eventually came out. He started mumbling again and I just interrupted him and asked if he was open he said "no, come tomorrow" so I went to another shop nearby but it was closed with a sign on the door with a phone number to call. After I spoke to the manager he directed me to go to his other shop los compadres and I explained to him my experience there he said no they're not closed and he would call the attendant. When I got back to Los compadres the guy attempted to connect his reader to my OBD2 but couldn't get it to connect and accused me of tampering with me ecu. I plugged in my OBD2 reader and it worked fine I just left after that. The guy was either drunk or stoned out of his mind. Sleeping on the job, mumbling incoherently, and flat out lying about being closed. Then he couldn't even get his reader to work after clicking the same button over and over again and blaming me for it not working. I have been coming here for the past 6 years. I've recommended my mom and daughter here. Every other time I had great customer service. There was minimal to no wait time, the employees were professional. Not this time. I purchased a used car for my son and needed to get it smogged before finishing the registration process. I came in early in the morning on Monday, 6/20/22 and the man working here today said I must have reset the system because some green lights were not on when he plugged a machine in to the car. So he said I needed to drive 60-70 miles and return. First off, that guy already seemed very short in his responses, but I returned after driving the 70 miles. I came back with my 16 and 5 year old sons. The guy was working on a truck which my son parked behind. He stood by the side of the truck he was working on and gestured something with his hands while looking our way. He gestured something again. I didn't know what he said so I got off the car. Meanwhile he began to gesture again. I asked what was he gesturing. He said to park my car on the side of the truck. I said I hadn't understood what he was saying. He came across extremely rude in his tone and demeanor. I told him I didn't understand what he was gesturing but he could have walked the 10 feet to let me know what he was gesturing. He said well you see that I'm busy. I told him again that he was being unprofessional and he said well you can just go somewhere else and get the smog done somewhere else. So I did just that. Been here before and I'm here again. Great service. Had to smog a car that I haven't used in a while. Battery was dead, replaced it and came down. Since the battery was disconnected the car needs to run 60+ miles so the computer can check all the sensors and make sure everything is good. They didn't charge me until the car was ready and passed the smog check. Other places will charge you if your car doesn't pass or if the computer isn't ready. I know this for a fact. We took our father's 2005 car for the smog check and they understood that it had not been moved for 2 years and reassured us that if it did not pass, we could bring it back after we rode it another 60 - 100 miles.
