This place is scamming people. I took my car here today for smog and the tech saw a crack in the intake hose. He failed it by visual. The only way to see it would have to be pressing it. It's very tiny slit. He then proceeded to ask if I wanted to pay $240 to install the intake hose after I buy it. He claimed it was 1hour 30min job but I declined and went down the street to another smog shop with the correct part and they got the install done in 20 mins for $60. Be ware can't trust anybody. read more

I smogged my truck here two years ago. My truck was due for another smog check so I stopped in. I was informed not to even get out of my truck because it was a 1994 and they do not smog anything below 1996 anymore because it affects their star score. Found another place truck passed smog no problem. read more

DO NOT STOP HERE! Very dishonest and crooks! They gave me a whole story why the vehicle failed the smog test and wanted to charge over $180 for them to pass it. There is no issues with the vehicle, now the system has marked it "failed" and have to wait a couple days to reset. You have been worn! If you have an older vehicle they will get you. read more

I took my car in for the smog check, it was quick, honest and friendly. You can trust this place, I accidentally left my wallet on the passenger seat and went to take a quick walk. I realized once I had came back that I didn't have my wallet, when I went to go pay. Luckily I had cash in my pocket, paid and was even offered a free drink. It was a hot day so it was perfect especially after my walk. I was hoping my wallet was in the car and sure enough it was there in the passenger seat ! I took them my Ford F-150 to get smogged and the guy that was inspecting it said it was smoking when he accelerated the peddle. He then called another guy and they both started to ask me for more money to pass my truck. I told them that I wasn't going to pay a dime over what we had originally agreed and they told me to go somewhere else. When I went somewhere else to get it smogged they told that they couldn't smog it because the last guys had failed it on two different components and it was too risky for them to pass it on the same day. I will never go to this smog shop ever again since they are scam artist and I don't recommend anyone go to this shop unless you want to get robbed and wast time. read more

Took me a while to find this business on Yelp because they do not advertise a on-site business name and I am sure that is intentional. Stay Away! They are underhanded Crooks. I have been going there a few years now but my Vehicle is a 2008 and when they see the vehicle is older they start playing their games. I took it in for a smog and they failed it under some bs codes, they told me they will pass it if i pay them $160. When i rejected they lowered the price and 2 other Managers tried to convince me for 10 mins claiming it will be much easier to pay the $160 then repair. I left and took it to another Smog shop within the hour and the person told me my vehicle is fine but he couldn't pass because it was already in the system as failed so i need to wait a few days that way it seems like if i had the problem corrected, I immediately drove back to Foothill test only Smog and explained the situation and let them know they are dishonest and underhanded. They are a lot of legitimate Smog Shops in the area do not give these Crooks your business. read more

This is NOT Los Compadres Smog Check, I accidentally pulled up to the wrong place to get it checked. First off, I didn't even get greeted, just looked at like I was retarded or something. Secondly, the fucking guy moving my car was smoking a cigarette inside the building, & WHILE in my car. Like, did I tell you that was okay & who the fuck are you to think it was okay to do that in the first place it's not even YOUR CAR! I wanted to sock this fool straight in the head, how unprofessional & disrespectful! Then we got some umpa lumpa looking ass fool just doing nothing, apparently the "manager" just standing there staring while everyone else is on their fucking phones the whole time, don't bother to ask a question they'll just send you to someone else who doesn't know shit!
