I called about 5 different smog shops off Google Maps. Smog Latino answered. Gave me a price over the phone after going over what car I have. I pulled in on a Saturday. I waited 5 mins only one car ahead of me. The employees were acknowledged me right away. The price was exactly what they said over the phone. They even pointed out a hose in my engine bay that was going bad. They did not try and up sell me to fix it etc. just friendly information. Over all. Friendly service, fast service , honest service. I took my car for a break and light inspection. They call and told me my car was ready but it was parked in there garage. When I took my car home I notice I had damaged to my paint. I call to confront them they ask to see video and the manager is arguing with me. Finally he agree to and estimate. Needed to get my 1992 S10 smogged. They were very nice and helpful . Took them about an hour and my truck was on its way with a smog pass certificate. If you don't pass your smog test because your car isn't warm, they won't tell you that. In addition to the cost of the smog ( which they won't refund you if you don't pass like other companies) they will tell you what's the problem for another $85! Save your money!! My sister and I went for a brakes and light inspection, our first time there, told this to an employee and said okay just sign these forms and pay in advance. After the inspection was over he said we did not pass the brake part, asked him why and he said they were too old (not true, had them changed 9 months earlier) long story short, scammed us out of $100 and then had the nerve to say it would cost $600 to replace them! Not including the labor. Unbelievable!! He took advantage of us because we are women thinking we do not know anything. Smog Latino is a great place. The mechanics are very knowledgeable. I took my Truck in on July 3rd. I expressed to them that I needed my truck for the holiday. They ran into a bit of a problem trying to find the part I needed and wasn't sure if they would finish before the end of the day which was at 5pm. I get a phone call at 5:50 and he says we finished your truck we stayed longer because we know you needed it for the holiday. Now that's what I call going above and beyond to please your customer. Do not go to this place! My experience was lousy and this establishment does not deserve your business. The advisor/owner & mechanic are incompetent! I recently installed a new set of headlights and wanted them professionally leveled. Upon entering the garage the mechanic began unscrewing the headlights from their mounting points. The owner very rudely entered the waiting area and said," You need to take these lights off because they are not adjustable". When I explained to him where the t 15 adjustment bolts were he was cutting me off as if he had lost his patience. After the mechanic shook his head and finalized the service the owner wrote up the paper work slamming the clip board and pen. It was embarrassing and the worst service I have ever had at a service shop. I hope this helps others when driving by this establishment. read more

this place is horrible they put a old part on my niece car and charged her $300 then she drove home to las vegas (thank god she made it home just to think her stranded in the dessert) then her car broke down and she had to have it towed to the dealer and they have the proof they put a old part and now she has too pay $495 to get it fixed for the same problem and they don't want to help with no compensation!!! i continued to ask for the owner and martinez would not accommodate at all do not take your car here!! its the principal of this now small claims here we come, luckily my sister is a lawyer!! you never know who you doing wrong and who they know !! i read more
