When I called and they promised to call me back the next day but never did. I came in to pick it up since I didn't want to wait anymore and they didn't have any explanation or apologize for leaving me hanging. What a waste of time. This is the best computer repair business I have ever been to by far. I have a computer that was a clunker but after Andre who is the genius got finished it was running at warp speed and perfectly. AMAZING!!! I wish I could give you all 10 stars!!! I am sooooo glad that I found this computer repair shop. I initially took my Macbook Pro laptop to another computer place and they said my motherboard went completely bad and they would have to replace it for $706.00. I was very hesitant to spend that much money to fix it when I can easily invest another $700.00 and buy a brand new one. So I searched online and called up Ryan who fixes computers, found him through yelp, but he wasn't in town and referred me to Computer Professionals. He said they are a great repair shop and would help me out. Thank you Ryan and Computer Professionals. I called them up and talked to a very nice young lady, whose name I can't remember, and told her what the issue was. She said for me to come by and they would look at it. I dropped it off first thing Saturday morning and by 2:00 pm she called me up to say it was not the motherboard and it was only a hard drive issue. Total cost plus the cost of them saving all of my stuff on the laptop and then putting it back on the laptop once the issue was fixed....only $246.00. Such a relief!! I got a call on Monday saying my laptop was ready to be picked up...what a fast turnaround! I was blown away by their great customer service and honesty because let's face it most computer repair shops can be so shady. Not computer professionals though. I could not be happier with this place! Basically I went to Apple and they told me my hard drive was shot. I didn't have any of my information backed up on a separate hard drive so I was kind of freaking out haha. I did a little research and found Computer Professionals. I called and spoke with Flo, she is great and answered all of my questions. I needed to complete an online rental application that day but my laptop booted up w BSOD 3 times in a row. they took me immediately (extra $55? charge for rush service) with dire mutterings about possibly dead hard drive. but once they started in on the job, it turned out I was just virused up the wazoo. Brought my laptop here to get viruses cleared and to increase the overall speed of my computer. Also had to purchase the newest version of Windows operating system as part of the reconfiguration the techs completed. The techs were able to restore my desktop and my iTunes and all other documents for me so I didn't have to go through the trouble of backing them up...much appreciated! Overall I'm satisfied with the work they did for me. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because One annoying thing was that a month after I picked up my computer, I started getting alerts that the Windows operating system they installed was not valid and that I needed to type in a product key to verify the system, which I was not provided with. When I called, I was told they would have new product keys available in a few weeks and that a tech would call me to help me over the phone to clear the alerts. I was never called and had to call back twice to get an appointment with a tech to help me remotely. I also had to call the day I set my appt with the tech as 20 minutes had passed from my appt time and no word from them. Once my appt started, it took 1.5 hours of my time to work with the tech and get the issue fixed. Since then I haven't had any issues, but it did take several hours of my time to fix the problem. Nonetheless I would return as a customer if they could assure me I wouldn't have that issue again. read more

Imagine the scenario... a nervous, hovering doctor, an infected computer, no access to patient information and me... left spinning in my chair in despair after hours of tediously trying to clean out this nasty computer infection. Comp-Pros were very efficient,helpful, and reasonably priced. I had an all-in-one desktop which had a virus which damaged the operating system. Comp-Pros diagnosed the problem, backed up my files, wiped out and the re-installed all of my programs thereby eliminating the virus. Alex was very helpful and went the "extra mile " to help me get everything back in working order and in the way I preferred it to be on the desktop. The manager was excellent with follow-up calls and made sure everything was ready to go on time as promised. They are open until 8pm on most days which made pick-up no problem. Comp-Pros sent Charlie again yesterday. Can't recommend him highly enough. I'd called because of blue screen errors with multiple applications crashing or malfunctioning. Thought a new hard drive might be needed but he recognized that the problem was bad or insufficient RAM. He returned with replacements (doubling my RAM with name-brand sticks) this morning. I've had my laptop/notebook for approximately 6 years. [Yes: Us Elders do not like change so much.] Except for an accidentally-cracked screen (which Comp-Pros quickly replaced), I've had no problems except for the hard drive getting slow and clogged due to the usual wear-and-tear. Recently, when my computer slowed to a near grinding halt, I had to take it to this business. Despite servicing hundred of customers since then, the Owner, Mr. Andrey, quickly remembered servicing my screen a few years ago. Our pleasant exchange was akin to meeting a favorite cousin you have not seen in a long time. He ran a test, determined what the problem was, trusted me enough to let me use a "loaner" laptop in the meantime, and returned my laptop as good as new, along with enhanced storage capacity. I had to have my Lenovo Thinkpad screen replaced, and Comp-Pros did an excellent job and displayed exceptional professionalism. At one point there was a part that was delivered late (USPS's fault), and then still later it was discovered that yet another part needed to be ordered and more time spent on the repair. Comp-Pros kept me informed throughout every step of the process, called to give me updates, and then did work on my computer that was above and beyond what I ultimately paid for. They gave me a discount because of the extra time it took to repair my computer, and I believe they also threw in one of my parts for free. So even though the final repair included a full screen replacement with associated labor, and not just a small video cable replacement job, the difference in the price to me was minuscule. I was even more impressed by their professionalism because their actions to redeem themselves were not done merely to satisfy an irate customer. I was not crying or screaming at them to get my computer back more quickly. I definitely was frustrated at not having my computer, but I do not rely on it for school or work, so I was not freaking out. Despite this, Comp-Pros still did the right thing and gave me a discount. It is very rare that I deal with a company that will do what is right without you needing to cajole, plead and yell at them for 20 minutes. I will be coming back to Comp-Pros for all of my computer needs in the future. My laptop computer died one evening after I got a virus that apparently wiped out the hard drive. I was in a state of panic until I was able to locate Computer Repair Professionals. Allen was fantastic and assured me that they could figure out the problem. Since I work late hours, he worked out a later visit to my home by one of his repair people. The repairman was polite, professional and quickly figured out that the problem is serious. He suggested not wasting my time and offered to take the computer with him and call in the AM. As promised - Allen called with the prognosis in the AM and informed me what my options were. These guys were thorough every step of the way and even researched and bought and installed a new hard drive for me after recovering almost all the data on the crashed hard drive. My "new" computer was hand delivered to me at home and the findings reviewed in detail! They even provided me the receipt with the three year warranty for the new hard drive! The "new" computer runs better than before! Very cool! I can't rave about these guys enough - most of the recovered data was documents that are meaningless to other people but dear to me - These guys really came through and provided door to door service that was impeccable! Great Yelp reviews sent me to Comp-Pros but I won't go back. I had a HDMI Computer issue. Called Comp-Pros and the guy on the line encouraged me to bring it in quickly so they could take a look. All good. Arrived in store at about 5 pm, and he had a good potential work around. He said they would try to get back to me tonight before 8 pm to give me an idea of how long it would take and the price. All good. Did not hear from him that evening, but not concerned. Called in the next day at 11 am to see what I could learn, and the woman on the phone was incredulous. No, it would take 2 to 3 days before I would hear from them unless I had paid the "rush fee." Rush fee? Huh? So, let me understand this. First I'm told one thing, and the next day another. And I was at the back of the line, while others who paid the rush fee would continue to jump ahead of me? I don't think so. I went back the next day and asked for my computer back and the woman behind the counter was reluctant to give it back to me. She kept asking me if I wanted it back. I had to tell her three times that I wanted my own computer back. So, she finally gave it back to me and then when I walked out of the story she called out loudly, dripping with sarcasm, "Have a nice day." Ahhhh.... Rush Fee. Sarcastic sales people with attitude. There are a lot of other shops that don't let people jump ahead in line and are polite and happy to have you as a customer. So, not going back to Comp-Pros. Awesome service and turnaround time here! As a video producer/editor I rely really heavily on my laptop and was hesitant to part with it for an extended period of time. Thankfully the guys at Comp-Pros were able to rush it for me and I had it back within a few hours. My Macbook had been running hot and it seemed like the fan was really stressed. They cleaned the fan out for me and assessed that there were no other issues. My laptop seems to be running better now and the fan is definitely not as loud, so it seems to have helped!
