As a Macbook and iPhone owner, I follow Apple stuff online, but periodically enjoy going into one of the stores to see stuff in person. Even when I'm not intending on buying. Currently I have a iPhone 16 Pro Max. I bought it maybe three months before the iPhone 17 came out. I was checking out the specs and differences and chatted with one of the staff members on duty. And he actualy discouraged me from upgrading as new versions were on the horizon in the near future. I appreciate folks that give you the quick and dirty about merchandise. It made me want to visit this store again. Lack of upselling = good value in my opinion. I would give this store a five but my policy is to never give chains more than a four. So you'll have to live with that.

Dropped my laptop back in 2020 and busted it up pretty bad, never got around to having it fixed…read more Started to actually need to use it more regularly and decided the body was too unstable, so I sent in some photos, computer city repairs quoted me an estimate for the work, and I brought it in the same day. They replaced my hinges, fixed the placement of some of the parts that were out of place and keeping motherboard exposed, and created a fill for the parts that had broken off. Opens and shuts extremely smoothly, I almost forget how janky it was just a month ago. Works great, and was absolutely worth the price they charged, which was extremely reasonable, especially if I can get another 5+ years out of this laptop!

I wasn't positive all my data had been saved to the cloud. I also wasn't sure how to do a definitive check on it. Not only did Mac 911 NOT show me how to check, they charged me $175 to crack it open and do a diagnostic and charged me $407 to recover my data on an external hard drive. I'm thankful they were able to recover it, but everyone I've spoken to has told me I WAY overpaid. They wanted to charge me $1800 to send it out and fix it. "It's a 2019 anyway, it didn't have much time left," I was told. They knew I was broke and panicked and it feels like they saw me coming. Feel totally taken advantage of, and, frankly, Don has all the warmth and personality of dried brush on the side of a dirt road. He seems rather indifferent about the importance of one's machine. HE's a machine. Mac 911 would be my last choice for problems with your Mac product. They're great if you're rich. They bled me dry. Sure wish my computer stayed dry.
