I love thrift stores that offer coupons via email; just sign up online. I like the background upbeat music they play in the background. I found some housewares for a good deal and relatively friendly staff. read more

I love coming here. They did a great job transforming the place after Salvation Army. You can now actually SEE what your buying. They added lighting. Organized, clean and flowing layout. They recently added mirrors at the end of the racks. Dressing rooms are spacious. Very reasonably priced. I always find something here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

Great store!!! Just purchased a beautiful piece of furniture that was a steal!!! Customer service is excellent and prices are reasonable.

Had a good experience with the store with all types of merchandise with the best prices with nice staff for assistance excluding one particular employee which was not kind and abrasive not smiling no eye contact cold type individual and was not happy with her customer service whatsoever I believe her name is Evelina and I will not return to that store again. read more

If you are looking for quality items, offered in a clean, bright, upscale store, staffed by caring and cheerful volunteers, this is the place to shop. Always treasures to be found, from boutique clothing for all ages, to furniture, books, jewelry, housewares, linens, electronics - the list goes on and on! You will not be disappointed! In addition, profits from the store go to local ministries - win/win! read more

Extremely overpriced items and rude staff. I used to be a regular customer and bought most of my clothes here until I started noticing employees following me around while I shopped, one employee seemed to be filming me on his phone as I exited the fitting room. Their prices have increased since they first opened and they take in donated clothes only to resell them at an unreasonable price. When asked what charities/foundations they support, the sales person couldn't even tell me. Will not be supporting this store anymore. read more

Community Threads is the best thrift store I have ever been to. The combination of quality merchandise, friendly staff, and tasteful displays make for a wonderful shopping experience!!! You don't even feel like you are in a thrift store because of how nice everything is! Forget Goodwill - Community Threads is where it's at!!! read more

Great service and clean store. I was looking for some furniture and the selection they had was of good quality.

I would like to tell the other people who wrote reviews saying this place is too expensive that they should get real! I have shopped many different thrift stores all over this country since I was a teenager. I have never seen such a great selection or great prices anywhere else! Their vintage furniture is very reasonable, their housewares and decor items are clean and restocked regularly. The electronics are tested before being put on the floor. You couldn't buy their art or frames at such low prices anywhere else. The clothing is clean and neat and also restocked regularly. I stop in about every 10 days and I rarely see the same things twice. The volunteers keep that place as nice as many retail stores. I took friends there recently for buy 1 get 2 free day and one of my friends bought a whole new wardrobe! For those who know, it's the place to go! I will probably be sorry I wrote this review because, so far, I have always found what I was looking for. read more

Love this store. Organized and clean first of all. Decent selection of clothes for all groups. A lot of house hold items and nick nacks. Game section is awesome. Some sports stuff. A lot of books decent prices. Kick nacks are great too. Many Pinterest potentials here as well. Have fun read more

I love shopping here for all my kids clothes and shoes. It's nice that they are a "quality" thrift store so I don't have to dig through the items to find nice items. Also, they are a non-profit that are completely donation-driven and support great ministries. Glad to shop at a place where the dollars have a purpose! read more

I am regular customer at Community Threads- I always loved the fact that by shopping there I could make my input to help community. I looked at my receipts and in the last couple of months I have spent over 1000 dollars there. Today while I shopping there I got hot when was trying on clothes so I put on one of the tops I was going to buy. When I was walking and looked at one of the mirrors that top looked very baggy on me so I have changed bag to my own shirt. I was still debating to buy it or not and at very end I decided not to. When I was paying for the stuffs I bought I started again having second thought about that top I had on, so told the female cashier - Lissa, that I had one shirt on while I was shopping and decided not to buy and... Lissa yelled at me that " it was disgusting , that I could be charged for shoplifting, and that I have to buy that top otherwise they will have to throw it away..." Actually, that's why I started the conversation if I should buy it ( I guess I wanted her suggestion and a little push) until she very rudely interrupted me. Lissa was very rude! Even when she was working with me she was answering the phone and having conversation while I was waiting for her. I have never been treated so rudely at that store, everybody there always had a very very polite and extremely helpful attitude. I loved this store and always felt welcomed there but this was the first time when I was totally degraded and humiliated. I quietly thanked LISSA for her treatment. I thought It was not fair to talk to me this way, she just could be polite and if she listened to me I was going to ask her if I should buy that top. Listen to me LISSA!!! I think this was the last time I go to that store. Although, it may doesn't mean anything to them to loose customer but if Lissa will treat people this way I believe many people will go somewhere else. Remember, there are a lots of thrifts stores everywhere... read more

It's not a bad place, it's just that they have a huge selection of beautiful ties that are NOT FOR SALE! There are some pretty rare Brooks Brothers makers ties as well as some designer ties that I imagine could make a lot of money for them. The sales person told me that they are for "display only." Very odd. The worst part of it is that the ties they ARE selling are tattered, off brand, and entirely unappealing. read more

Large, clean thrift store with a lot of really nice items. The kitchen ware section is stocked full of great stuff. Friendly people working.

I've only been to this location once, and the only thing I can say about it is that the prices are astronomical. I usually love to look at old furniture as I refurbish old furniture. Once I saw the prices I left. Sorry I wont be paying over $100 for a chair that needs tons of work. read more

my friend took me here, i love resale stores! and this one is very nice and clean/organized. the people working here are nice as well. this one is a little more expensive then your goodwill/savers but its worth it if you find some hidden gems. they have a good amounnt of furniture which is nice if you find something worth it in the pile. the only thing i dont like is the pricing on the furniture. so, there is a paper and it states the starting price then in a couple days it goes down and in a week down again etc. I just kinda feel like if im there and want to pay a lower price and can take it now cash etc. let me have it and bargin with me. (they do not do that) they dont have a good selection of youth/grade school kids clothes at all which is a bummer. but overall i really like this store. read more

Wonderful place. Employees/volunteers are very pleasant and helpful. It's very clean and organized. I think they filter their stock out from the bad because I'm always finding good stuff! Also majority if not all of the proceeds go to charity not like goodwill and other big buck thrift stores. It makes you feel good to shop there not only because you find great items at bargains but you know where your money is going! read more

I was never a thrift store shopper but I love community threads. Community threads is neat, organized & clean. I try to go once a week. For people who are not thrift store shoppers I highly recommend you check it out. read more

I like that all tops are the same price. I found nice cashmere sweater for 3.99!! It's worth looking through vast racks of clothes.

i am very new to the world of thrift stores. Have been coming to this location mainly for donation drop offs and have ventures in browsing right after. While now that Community Threads took the place over from Salvation Army the place is brighter and looks better. However, my main "beef" with this location is their "tested" item stickers on household, electronic and toys. My daughter has picked up a few toys from there and none of them have worked once we brought them home and put batteries in them. My last toy purchase was a Bopit. The battery compartment was so mengled that we could not even put batteries in them. How is it that they could have "tested" this item then?? Their policy is boldly displayed at the cash registers "No refunds/No Exchanges" i did comment on their facebook page and they promptly took my post down, but they did send me a message stating that certain items need batteries to work. Wow, how did I make it through life without knowing this???!!!! Their "designer" section is just silly! Since when Lord and Taylor's own brand qualify as a designer? $ 8.99 for a well used , streched out Ann Taylor sweater? Their kid's section is very limted and items are in very poor condition. Their houseware items are very overpriced (close to HomeGood's prices). So, skipping this store from now on! read more

It's big, with spacious dressing rooms! Prices are set and not too shabby for the cute selection they have. Thank the lord for no thrift store smell! I left with a few cute pins, a deck of cards to decorate my wall with, and some tights for a cosplay. I will definitely be coming back! read more

I've shopped at Community Threads for over a year - both at the old location and the new store. The new store has a great layout and I think it is very easy to find all kinds of bargains. They have big signs above each section with prices which makes it really easy to figure out what something cost. Sure it's a bigger space with a concrete floor instead of carpet like in the old store. But it is so much brighter - lots of windows bringing in the light which I really like. The store has a really nice scent -- nothing like stale, musty air that you find in other resale shops. I've been telling everybody I know to visit the new store - give it a try - and so far have had no complaints. And I really like the quality of the items I have seen and bought. Some things have a few chips or scratches - that's the nature of resale. But the clothes - wow, so many nice men & women's clothes in great condition and at great prices. And lots of kids clothes too. I had been looking for a set of juice glasses - something different - and had looked at lots of store and online. But there it was a Community Threads - and discounted to boot! Yahoo:) I hope folks will give the new store a try -- I'm a satisfied customer and I know many others as well. Plus when you add in their mission - to give back to the community through their partners ... well that's a big reason to choose Community Threads over the other guys! read more

Found some great baby clothes here! Baby clothes are organized by size and gender- way more organized than the bins of kids clothes at goodwill. Clean too! Definitely worth a visit! Extra perk- they support awesome organizations! read more

worst staff, worst manager, worst items and worst service...they done care about the items sold there..they sell defective items and after buying a cart i immediately took it back since it did not even come near the car and they refused to take it back..they took 15$ and sold me a trash... read more

Community Threads is such a wonderful store filled with unique items every time I come! I love that they support the community and everyone that works there are volunteers. They have a designer's section that is filled with goodies and great finds in the jewerly section also. read more

Bright, clean, nice smell, friendly volunteers, great inventory at very reasonable prices. Many items still have original tags on them and Community Threads' price is highly discounted. Much nicer stuff than other thrift stores. Plus I was told that the profits go to local charities, so it is a win-win for all. Best thrift store I have ever been in! read more

If you want to pay more than full price for something that has been used & broken & ripped, this is the place to go. They are supposed to be a resale shop. They overprice USED items that have stains & rips but still expect to get more than the original price. And, all their items are donated! People that don't have money go to these places to save money. Don't go here. & don't try to ask them if they would go down in price either. They are not friendly either. Don't waste your time or money! read more
