My new favorite consignment store in Denver! Common Threads is a boutique consignment store, which means that they're highly selective about what they'll take on and most of the items they carry will be designer-label and of high craftsmanship with little wear and tear. While they might occasionally carry some vintage pieces, most of their stuff is more up-to-date and contemporary. I didn't see a section for men's clothing, but for women, they have everything from bags, shoes, accessories, high fashion cocktail and party dresses, to more casual or business-casual type of clothing. I appreciated the curation--it's a blend of tasteful, classy, and a little offbeat. They have dressing rooms where you can try things on. Brands-wise, you'll see everything from Marchesa, Prada, Manolo Blahnik, to Anthropologie. I was able to get a Anthropologie jacket that was in very good condition, like-new, that would have cost $188+ at retail price for $75. Unlike other consignment stores I've been to, they have a sliding scale for pricing, so pay attention to the tags! The pricing starts at the highest price and goes down over time depending on how long the item has been in the store. If I had bought the Anthropologie jacket 6 days later, it would've cost me $63.75, and 12 days after that, it would've cost $56.25. I loved the jacket so much, though, and had several other patrons eyeing it, so I knew it wouldn't still be around if I didn't get it at the highest price that day. New pieces come in every day. I can see myself coming back here again and again. The shop is located on South Pearl, a cute area great for walking around for browsing and for farmers market in the warmer seasons. There is only street parking, but generally parking isn't too hard to find either on Pearl St or the nearby side streets.

Cute thrift boutique offering a great price off branded retail items! From Free People, to Lululemon, to endless more, they offer a great selection. Aesthetically curated, organized by type of clothing, it's easily to navigate through. There's a wide selection of shoes and some bags as well throughout the store. I appreciated they have fitting rooms as well in the back to try on before you buy. Would recommend!

Staff is super unfriendly and rude. Website is misleading, staff was rude and pretentious. Entire experience was a waste of my time.

Do they have plus size clothes?

Yes! We do have plus sized clothing. We always try to have a diverse range of sizing but it can be dependant on what people are bringing in at the moment! You are always more than welcome to give us a call and we can let you know the size range we…

    Do they buy clothes?

The Good: They have a lot of options for all kinds of wonderful dresses and masks - not our thing to wear but beautiful craftsmanship to look at and appreciate... The Bad: This place also does not have free pizza while we shop around. I am.determined to find a place. Kidding aside, the only downside I would think is that they know they have a monopoly in the area and the prices show it. The Ugly Truth: The selection of corsets is nice and the staff was very helpful in finding just the right one for my wife. She tried several of them on and found one that fit her needs. I would love to say we'll be back but we're not in Denver that often to stop in. A real positive is that the staff is eager to help and makes you feel very welcome. The downside is the pricing, but Denver is a more expensive city then most in this part of the country anyway so I understand.

They should have just put a sign on their store front saying "No Blacks!" because that is what I felt as soon as I walked in. I had to speak first. I was assisted, very shortly by a woman who immediately walked away when I asked a question about the hats. Then both ignored me and turned their backs on me as I was talking to them before I was finally fed up and left. I might over look this if it was busy but I was the only person in the small shop. I guess I should call ahead before go to a place like this to ask first if they serve my kind, Black Men. I guess we are a threat, even in a costume shop.

Carolyn has an incredible eye for style and is always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. What I love most is that the store offers a wonderful mix of high-end vintage pieces alongside current styles, so there's always something special to discover. The jeans I'm wearing in these photos came from her shop, and they've quickly become one of my favorite purchases. What keeps me coming back is the experience. Shopping at The Vintage Label feels personal--you never feel rushed or pressured, just encouraged to find pieces that make you feel great. If you're looking for a boutique with thoughtfully curated fashion and exceptional customer service, I can't recommend The Vintage Label enough.

I have only designer vintage couture, very expensive on this side and new clothes on the other." The new clothes were mostly heavily starched button down shirts and exceptionally dull things. The fancy shit was, , , eh! I have literally never been treated so badly at a shop. I wasn't dressed sloppily, I am 69 years old. I want to write this as a warning to other people. Be prepared to be insulted, condescended to and dismissed. She clearly doesn't need your patronage. On the other hand, the people at Overland Sheepskin on the same street were very welcoming and kind. Their good were divine and very expensive. But, they treated me like a good soul.
