I like to support small local businesses as much as I can and this is no different. To give an honest review I can say I am very pleased with not only the friendly folks behind the counter, but also the sense of community this place gives off. My wife, sons, and I came here for the first time shortly after moving here and have been recognized and remembered every time we come in since. Of course that makes most people feel good and recognized, but also shows that this place cares about its customers. They also offer discounts for military and law enforcement to go with their picture frames filled with various patches. read more

I came in for a mocha, told the red haired barista (didn't catch her name) that I'm a little lactose intolerant.. She suggested a soy or coconut milk substitute & to try the raspberry mocha.. Sold! Coconut milk raspberry mocha! Well, it's delish!!! I have never had anything like it before! & they even have a nice, comfortable, lounge. I might just park it on a couch and veg out. Friendly, warm service from nice peeps in a decent indie-coffee-shop atmosphere. I'm from Seattle, so the bar is really high for me for this kind of place, but these guys do purty darn good. We often stop on our way to the Bay Area for a soy chai latte. CG is one of the few good wifi hangouts for many miles. The gelato is nice, too. read more

I went for the first time with my sister in law and the kids and I must say, I wish my first time was better. We did not feel welcomed at all. It wasn't even a busy day. We weren't greeted, we were stared down by the cashier and her little two friends that were standing there waiting to get back to their important conversation. And when I threw out my sarcastically "hello" she barely said it back and still didn't ask us if we had any questions about the menu or if we were ready to order. Hands down the best chai tea latte anywhere!!! All of the coffee here has great flavor...and i love the free wi-fi. Its large enough to hold a meeting for a small club. Also very accomidating for well behaved children. Its a very relaxing place to sit down and have coffee and play a game of chess or dominoes (provided by the owners) with a friend, and you may find yourself spending the better part of your day there. I also love the large outdoor seating they have. If you want some fresh air or just enjoy the sun. The staff is very nice, they make you feel like a local no matter where you are from. They also give you the option to set up a rewards account. You get a plastic card with a magnetic strip that they slide every time and you earn free coffee!!! You dont have to load a prepaid card (like starbucks) in order to get rewards, which makes their method convienient. Love this place! read more

I love love love Common Grounds! The staff know me by name and know my coffee order. It's COFFEE and its reasonably priced, no bells, whistles, or rockets shooting out of its rear end. You can order COFFEE and not get a blank "huh?" look. Of course you can get all the fancy mixed and blended drinks. They have awesome paninni's and pastry. And o.m.g. they have gelato to DIE for!!!! The seating area is comfortable and spacious. Unlike the other coffee place in town, you can actually sit and enjoy your meal or coffee without feeling like you are in the way of the line. I decided to give this place another try, and got a coffee instead of an Americano (the Americano I got here a year ago was weak and stale). Maybe I just got them on a bad day, because the coffee was good, though not great. Not super fresh, but neither was it stale. I like it a little stronger, but I like STRONG coffee, so most people would probably find it "just right". read more

Espi and her staff are amazing! Their coffee is amazing & way better then daddy big bucks ( * bucks). They have super great breakfast burritos, yummy pastries, donuts & the service is terrific!!!! They have great coffee. They use coffee beans to make their coffee which I wasn't too thrilled about in these harsh environmental times. After the first sip I decided that the environment is overrated and common grounds is the truth. Not a good place for a bachelors party though. For some reason they don't have alcohol of any kind. (I guess somebody didn't want to shell out some money for a liquor license) BAD MOVE. oh and NO strippers!!!! I cant believe that with a sign and name like this they didn't have any pole dancers. This actually ended my marriage before it began ,so so lame. I cant comment on the zues effect that is going on here. Crazy like the clap! Lets get caffeine and tipsy. Milk. We went here for the first time last week because we had to meet someone here to sign papers. I decided to get a coffee while I waited. I got the chocolate mint coffee and I loved it...it was delicious! They had such a wide variety of choices it was hard to decide so I will definitely be back to try something else. The girl working that day was sweet and personable as well. The signing of our papers went over into closing time a little bit, and she was nice enough not to kick us out! Today I have to give them a 1 star....not because the coffee is not good and the young girl was not friendly but because we waited 20 mins. to get our drinks. I think the owner needs to have more than just one poor girl working on these beautiful spring days and on the weekends. First I don't think young girls should be there all by themselves you never know who might come in and take advantage or hurt her. I think there should always be two people working. I understand that they are not busy all the time but I saw two people walk out because they were taking so long. That is too bad because they do have great coffee and I would not like to see them go out of business because they don't have enough people helping their customers with their needs. If you have time to wait I would say go in and enjoy a refreshing coffee! read more

We left the house early with plans of a full breakfast before work today - feeling festive since it's Christmas Eve. Only to find out that Campbell's Country Kitchen was closed. So we detoured over to Villa bakery, but they were sold out of everything we wanted. Boo! So over to The coffee shop. Third time's a charm! Great breakfast burritos and service with a smile!!
