Maybe their breakfast foods are better but got a chicken sandwich here as well as the spicy chicken sandwich, a caramel latte and a regular latte. My regular latte was watery. The chicken was rubbery and bland. My boyfriend took a bite of the spicy chicken and said, "Wow, I didn't know food could taste this bad." The caramel latte was ok. Like I said perhaps other items are better and perhaps things that are unevenly executed should be removed. We were in Anza scoping out the little weekend swapmeet locals have. While we were there, got hungry & the taco guy wasn't there :( If you've ever been to Anza, you'll know there's limited choices in restaurants & Dairy Queen being the only chain out there & a couple of Mexican food, a Pizza joint(s) & the casino restaurant/gas station fried chicken. That said, there was one more food establishment before heading towards the mountain highway. A little trailer outside what appears to be a little sit down place to eat, but wasn't open & sign directed you to the drive thru service at trailer. We thought what the hell, let's do it, not only a variety of choices & drinks (coffee/juices etc) but in foods. Even healthy choices, vegetarian, salad, soups, and breakfast plates & pastries. Honestly, it might be little higher than a typical burger stand, but you get a lot of portions and it looks like someone's mom or pop was cooking. (Keep in mind the distance to buying the food supplies adds up) If you're into a no frills place that serves typical greasy spoon diner food, this'll do. If you're into trending food seen on Tik Tok, this is not for you. (Although some of it could be). I loved the potato salad & club sandwich-thick pieces of bacon, turkey & ham not processed actual meat & generous portions. My hubby loved his burger & fried potatoes. I read some of the reviews stating it wasn't to their liking, but honestly give them a chance, they have great potential, and hard working trying their best to get the food out to you. The young man that was taking orders & serving was doing it all by himself, and the cook-literally two man (or & a woman) operation while 3-4 cars were waiting patiently for the food.' Can't wait to go back again and try their coffees and breakfast. We chose to park in back of it and eat, giving us nice views. The atmosphere was wide open rustic desert views and sounds of wind and nature off the beaten path. Beats the monotony of city life. *I gave them 5 stars because of the hard work & effort put into service. I usually use the drive through but when I have the time, I love to sit out on the patio with a beautiful view of the surrounding Anza valley. I am a coffee/ coffee house snob from Seattle. I love this place. If you find yourself driving through Anza it is a must stop. Coffee, cinnamon rolls (very yummy) and the sandwiches are to die for. Love this place. So far my husband and I have tried the meatball sub, the tuna melt, the steak sandwich, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the mac and cheese sticks plus coffee. So good! Their menu is always changing, and I've learned that they have a lot of stuff not on the menu (check their Facebook!) I always look forward to coming here and I like that they don't mind altering menu items, I can be picky at times. This little stand is easily missed, but shouldn't be. The food is delicious. I've tried the Monte Cristo, the Toddwich, and the Wilbur. These sandwiches, not only provide huge portions but are really quite yummy. The coffee, I've been served has always been just a bit too sweet. The flavors are good but even when asked for it to be a little less sweet, I still picked up a bit. The folks that serve have always been kind.
