I've been buying espresso beans from Common Ground since last October. Excellent coffee, roasted to perfection...and not over roasted like some. My espresso machine loves it too! What can I say but fantastic. For those of you who like good coffee without the feel of commercialism than this is the place for you. The coffee is solid and they have a decent size selection of syrup flavors. The menu goes quite well for such a quaint place and how can I forget the staff. They're friendly and always remember faces. Since its local family owned, they take the time to satisfy the customer. Checked this place out the other morning for iced coffee and some egg and cheese sandwiches, I would say it was mediocre. The flavored coffees are made with syrup, I prefer the flavor being actually brewed into the coffee. The croissant my egg and cheese was on was extremely fresh and delicious but the egg was not great and had way too much pepper! I would go again if in the area but likely just for a coffee. read more

We often go there on Saturdays for their brunch. I loved their "Everything Omelette", which tastes great but not too salty. Last Saturday we went there a bit late and missed the brunch hours, so I tried their Herb Chicken Panini which was also a blast. I really loved this place! Decently priced breakfast option. Ordered scrambled eggs even though not in the menu. The eggs were awesome and so was the whole wheat bagel breakfast sandwich. You also can't go wrong on the banana Nutella sandwich. Coffee is tasting good too. Service is great too. read more

Food is fresh - so not always super fast, but worth the wait. Service is helpful and there's a big variety of options. The portugese soup is fantastic, especially with the little cheese dough balls you'll see in the bakery display. My partner and I's go-to breakfast spot on the weekends. The menu isn't extensive, but we love breakfast sandwiches and they make an amazing one here. The croissant and asiago bagel are to die for, so I usually switch back and forth between the two for my sandwich. The coffee is also fresh and delicious with tons of flavors and variations to choose from. We love the banana flavor because it is the first banana flavor coffee we've had that has a strong, banana flavor. The parking lot and the cafe is small, but we've never had a problem finding a spot or seat. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like a regular after just a few visits. read more

I go here at least once a week. I love the staff there and the interior is nicely decorated. Prices are very good. The coffee is very flavorful (iced coffee that is actually strong!). I also buy their whole roasted coffee beans to grind and brew at home. I plan on giving them out for Christmas gifts this year because I love being able to support a local business. Also, I Iove their bagels but they are HUGE- if I get an egg and cheese sandwich I usually share it with someone! Lunch sandwiches sound good too, but I haven't tried them yet. Everything here is a cut above any other coffee shop in the area. Egg and cheese on croissant had buttery and spicy flavors I had never tasted before. The espresso blend from Brazil and Ethiopia had flavors I had never tasted before. The music I heard via Pandora was bluesy, earthy and touched my heart in new ways never experienced before. I bought a pound of the espresso blend beans which they roast right there. Only $11. If you want reasonable prices and new sound and taste experiences then stop here. read more

Great place for strong and great tatting coffee. My favorite is the iced latte , it the big picture on the front door. For an iced latte it actually very stong and has flavor. The shop is clean with friendly and honest workers, I overpaid by a dollar and the barista was honest enough to give it back. Worth a stop parking can be tight! read more

I love this place. I live around the corner and have to stop myself from coming in every single morning only because I know I should be saving my money! This is one of my go-to places for brunch on the weekend. They have a more extensive menu than what is written on the board and the Eggs Benedict is my favorite. I was the only one when walked in at 2pm, so I got waited on right away. I sat down and the barista delivered my americano. A few minutes later, she delivered my breakfast sandwich on a croissant. It was good, (not great) with what I assume is a pre-cooked scrambled egg. It's what you expect at a coffee shop vs. a cook-to-order restaurant. But good coffee and good service rule the day here and it's a nice venture away from Starbucks and Dunkin'. read more

This is a cute, small cafe. The freshly made breakfast sandwhiches are large and delicious. They are reasonably priced, too. My only qualm, like others have mentioned is the wait can be a bit long for a quick stop in. While I highly recommend anything off their breakfast sandwhiches, I can't say the same about the baked goods. I'm not sure if the products are left out for too many days, or it's the dough they use when baking but the pastries are a bit salty/tough. I ordered a cinnamon swirl and even after heating it up in a microwave it was too tough for a knife to cut through. I'll still be stopping by regularly for an iced coffee (more like Dunkin than Starbucks) and for anything off their hot menu! read more
