Came in on a Friday morning. Not busy at all after 9am. The gentleman at the register asked for my order and was very patient with me deciding before I had my coffee. It's was a fairly quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a sandwich. A little bit busy of an area, so parking was a little tricky. Food was good, no fuss. The amount of different lattes you can get was probably the most I've seen anywhere have.

Food was so amazing! Stopped by for a turkey, egg, & cheese bagel on our first day in Boston. Was greeted very kindly and spoke with the man at the counter. Got our food to go and ate in the grassy area by city hall. This bagel was so amazing we had to come back before our flight out of the city. Second time, we had a western bagel with sriracha cream cheese (must try!!) and a sausage egg and cheese bagel. Loved this place! Truly recommend to everyone.

Friendly personable service and delicious breakfast sandwiches! Loved the touch of cinnamon in my cappuccino. Great neighborhood spot.

Tony is running a one man show but it's worth the wait! Super sweet man, makes the bacon egg and cheese taste even better.

We'd…read moreplanned to ride the train back to Boston then take a different train to the airport, but seeing our luggage, several people on the train recommended avoiding downtown Boston and instead hopping off at Chelsea to take the Silver Line bus to the airport shuttles. Our flight was delayed and we didn't want to just sit in the airport, so we decided to listen to the locals, hop off at Chelsea then look for some cool local spot to get a coffee and maybe some food. This is a hidden gem in Chelsea. We asked folks on the train if they had recommendations.. they did not. We got off at Chelsea and it was pretty much a food and attraction desert, at least within walking distance of the bus stop. Luckily, Yelp came to the rescue. The coffee search brought up Dunkin, Starbucks and Aloe Natural. A quick glance at their Yelp page showed a picture of the coconut obsession coffee drink, and I was sold. With our luggage in tow, we walked the 3 blocks from the bus stop to find the business. It's literally a straight shot down the road, but I do recommend crossing to the right side of the street when given the opportunity, then taking the crosswalk to move over to the left right before reaching the business. The entrance is 2 small steps, so keep that in mind if you are a wheelchair or adaptive walking device user. It's a small, but clean and welcoming spot -- even offering a little swing and backdrop for selfies. We entered just before 2p on a weekday. The woman behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. She smiled and thanked us for visiting when I told her how we'd come to find the business. She said most of their traffic is students and teachers who want a healthier option in the neighborhood. She told us they have another business in the neighborhood which offers the often heavier, traditional Hispanic foods. We stayed until 3p, when they closed -- but that last hour they had a really steady stream of students and takeout pickups. We were honestly surprised to see them close so early. It seems like they'd do well to stay open until 4p, or maybe even 5p to catch more of that after school/work crowd. We went for the coffee but were blown away by the açaí bowl. It was delicious! Fresh, light, healthy-- everything I needed after 5 days of tourist walking and exploring. I ordered the iced coconut obsession and was pleased to get a little bit of Nutella with every sip. It was decadent, but not so sweet that it made my stomach hurt. My girlfriend ordered a strawberry lemonade and was also pleased. The prices were super reasonable, especially given the size and amount of fresh produce. My GF said she wasn't really hungry and only wanted a few bites, but ended up eating half of my açaí bowl. It was that good. If they'd been open later, I would have ordered a second one. I definitely recommend giving this small local business a try. Next time we find ourselves in Boston, we'll definitely stop in Chelsea to take the silver line bus to the airport and get a repeat of this exact meal. **As a side note, the restroom was a single-person, gender neutral room with a full-size baby changing table. It was clean and great for a #1. There's a table just outside the bathroom door -- only because the inside space is very small. They are very mindful of this and try to keep the bathroom door shut when not in use, so knock if you need to go.

However, lately, I've noticed the quality of their breads decreasing. Where before I could consistently count on fresh breads, especially in the morning, now every visit feels like a gamble. Today for example, I got a cheese croissant which is a soft bread baked with cheese. For context, I came in on a Sunday morning at 9am when you'd think the breads would be fresh. The bread I received was stale, crumbly, and hard with cheese so cold it completely solid instead of stringy. The bread had either been over baked or sitting there for days. For one incident I wouldn't take the time to write a review, but this is now a more consistent occurrence. One server in particular doesn't show the customers the care and servitude most of the other, longer term servers give. She doesn't always give you everything you buy, charges for bags without asking if you want a bag, and throws the first item in the bag without attention to its quality. Additionally the cakes in the cake case is almost always dry and hard, and the desserts in the fridge taste like they've spoiled. Unfortunately, it seems like the longer they are open and the wider their selection the lower their quality.

While I understand that is isn't an "American" bakery, it would be great if there was a better understanding of the English language for those of us who can't comprehend whatever the language is that they speak in there.
