Update #2: I received a call from a higher up, who offered to pay for the tire installation I had done at Point S. I've waited much longer than I was told I'd need to for the refund check to arrive, and now believe that it was just a bait and switch hoping I'd update the review immediately and then forget about it without them actually having to mail out a check. read more

People there have ZERO customer service skills. Not friendly AT ALL, just seamed annoyed at me for making an appointment. and if you call the number you just get random surveys about different insurance companies. Do not go there. Also WAY expensive. read more

BEWARE!!! THESE GUYS ARE LIARS, SCAMMERS AND COULD PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK!!! I will never go back to them and hope they change the way they do business! Today, I went in for a routine tire rotation and balance. I usually get it done for free at costco where I bought my tires, but they are too far away for a simple tire rotation so I decided to go to Commercial tires. The guy the front was fairly nice and helped me book an appointment. He told me it would cost about $20 for all 4 tire rotations and he'll throw in the balance for free. I was pretty happy because walmart charges $12 per tire&rotation, so this was a bargain. i didn't think much about it at the time but 45 minutes later, he comes back to me and tells me that my brakes were bad and I had to replace all of them. He then told me that, to replace 4 axles, to include rotors/brakes, was going to be $800+. He told me that the front two brakes were at moderate/bad condition, but the back ones were completely worn out and he highly recommended me replace the whole set(rotors and brakes). I ask him how much it would cost to replace jus the brakes and the back rotors and he told me it was still going to cost me $600+. I respectfully told him I don't have the money at the time, but will come back next time to do it... Minutes after I left the shop, a good friend of mine offer to help me change the brakes tonight and I decided to go ahead and do it since winter is pretty much already here. I went to autozone, purchases brand new brakes for all four axles for about $100 and this is where I learned that Commercial Tires put my life and the life of my children at risk! And they straight up lied to my face jus to make a few more bucks! COMMERCIAL TIRES DID NOT TIGHTEN ANY OF THE LUG KNUTS ON MY CAR AND ALL THE BRAKES WERE IN GOOD CONDITION! ALL FOUR ROTORS WERE IN GREAT CONDITION AND THEY STRAIGHT UP TRIED TO SCAM ME. I know for a fact that they should have impact drills and if this was done correctly, It should have been really difficult for me to take off my tires unless I use a breaker bar. The fact that I was easily able to take off my car tires lug knuts with a simple ratchet and socket without any effort, means that they did not tighten my tires at all! For all I know, maybe the rotations and balance never happened as well. My children was in the car with me today and if I had gone on the highway, I would have been in serious danger. To prove that I'm not making any of this up, I am attaching some pics of my receipt/w date and pics of my brake pads. I highly recommend you avoid this business but if you do use them, stay on the side of caution. read more

I just got off the phone with commercial tire in Rexburg and I feel they had horrible customer service. I was just trying to call and get a quote for my vehicle so I know what price range I was looking at. The guy had a lot of attitude and didn't really seem like he wanted to help me at all. And when I tried to be the bigger person and tell him to have a wonderful day I got hung up on. Customer service is number one in any business and if you don't have that you won't have a lot of customers. Do better! read more

My experiences with Commercial tire have always been positive. I've brought mounted tires on rims for balancing and they haven't charged me anything for the balancing since it was so easy for them. The tires have been better balanced than other places have done too so that really impresses me. They also provided me with a set of Cooper truck tires that are aggressive high traction tires with a mileage warranty. These came at a great price without those stupid coupons that Discount tires make you buy. Which reminds me, now I have to go get my single new tire from Discount. --don't know what I'll do with it but oh well. It's taken us five years in the area to find a good tire shop so we will be coming back. As, for the guy that posted the brake pad, I'd like to see the other three pads that were removed. That pad could be good while the other three or even one of them was bad due to a seized caliper. There's more to that story. read more

I love this place!! They are so good to us. I've never seen them in a bad mood. They remember me and my vehicle. They have fixed a hole in a tire, on different occasions. Grant and Marcus always have a smile and make me feel welcome. Being a lady, other places have treated me like I don't know what is going on with my vehicle but I never felt that way here. We have had other maintenance done on our vehicles that weren't wheels or tires and I will continue to come back. I recently had my vehicle diagnosed with a bad AC/heater fan motor by a different mechanic shop. I brought my vehicle to Commercial Tire for a second opinion and they ended up saving me hundreds of dollars!! Aaron was so awesome! He was willing to help and listen to my questions. He helped me make sure I was finding the right part and getting the best prices. It may have saved me hundreds of dollars with just this one repair, but also reassured me no other place has treated me so well. We will continue to do our business at Commercial Tire. Not just purchasing tires, but any other vehicle need they can help us with. read more

On our way home to LA from Montana we discovered that our tire had a slow leak. We decided to have our tire looked at expecting to be sold a new tire. We received amazing service and our tire was repaired, no charge. Thank you Commercial Tire!! We are so appreciative. read more

I purchased new tires. One later went flat due to running over a nail. They claimed it was unfixable. So since they still have miles to go on those tires, the warranty should kick in. But they claimed I was offered an alignment when I purchased the tire (lie), I declined (lie), and in declining I voided the warranty (which they didn't mention at purchase). read more

Took my mustang here 2 years ago because it needed new breaks. Commercial Tire was having a special for break pads "$99 installed". Took it in and they said it would be done in an hour. I got a call saying the rotors needed to be replaced and it would cost another $200. I said okay and they said they would order it. Then I got another call saying that the brake calipers need Ti be replaced and it will be another $400. My $99 special just turned into $700. I told him they were brand new and he disagreed. I then told him no and forget about the repairs I'm going somehwhere else. He then said that he will not put the brakes back on without charging me for labor!!! I said no your not and leave my car in the parking lot without the brakes. I then took the car to a small shop near porter park. My $700 bill from commercial tire turned into $120 with labor. It is now two years later and I have gone through another set of brake pads. The calipers are completly fine and the rotors are fine. read more

I'm always hesitant to have a "big box" tire center do maintenance on my vehicles because it seems that every time I do, they forget to replace a center cap, don't properly torque my wheels, or treat me like I'm an idiot.... like The Tire Factory in Rexburg. I used to go the Big O at this location before they wen out of business and so I came here once Commercial Tire replaced them recently. I was treated with a lot of respect and the everyone I worked with was very helpful, even gave me a ride home and picked me up. They helped showed me what they were talking about with my car, which I appreciate being a car guy, and made sure I wasn't being ripped off. I came to Commercial for a second opinion and they saved me $200. Excellent customer service and I'm satisfied with their work so far as well. I'll be buying my wheels and tires from them too rather than the more conveniently located tire shop next to my office. read more

I went in to inquire about an estimate to replace my front brake calipers, rotors, bearings and pads using my parts. The woman at the counter told me $100, I went back a couple weeks later with all my parts needed and the price went to $153. I asked them to flush the brake system and was not given a price for the extra work. After a couple phone calls stating my brake pads where too thick I told them to get the right ones. My bill then went from $153 to over $300. I will never use them again. read more
