I was having trouble with my truck, and took it in to the pro shop. I had them diagnose it for me and they said it was a flex fuel sensor ($800 part + labor costs.) After taking it into another shop for a second opinion, they found that it was just a damaged wiring harness. Other than the diagnostic fee, they only charged me $3.50 to repair the harness. $3.50 and running perfectly definitely beats $1,500 and still broken. read more

I needed my oil changed, and I heard about a deal they were doing as a part of the "dealio" sms texting service here in rexburg, a buy one get one free in the future. I called them, and found that it would cost less than I would have been able to do it if I were doing it myself. (Buying the oil, and filter). They included the parts and labor in the price. I even had them keep the oil they took out and the old filter, to prove to me they actually did the work. (I've been burned in the past, so yeahh, I was "that customer" haha.) Overall I'm satisfied with their service. Very great customer service, nice employees, reasonable price, fast service... The only thing is that it's location is pretty far out of town from rexburg. When I used to live in Rexburg I always brought our cars to Jerum, he always gave great customer service and I never felt ripped off after I left like you do at some mechanic shops. Now that I live in a different state I realize how hard it is to find a good mechanic you can trust. I wish I could still bring my cars to Jerum. read more

My Coachman Freedom Express passenger side mirror had a plastic support part break and the mirror was literally flopping back and forth (on our way to S.C). Got Google recommendation for "auto repair near me," and The Pro Shop popped up. Of course the broken plastic spacer probably isn't made anymore, but they created a fix in about ten minutes using a piece of pipe and a large nut from parts on hand, and it worked great! To top it off, they said "no charge!" They have my highest recommendation. Friendly and professional! read more

I took auto 100 at BYU Idaho and I asked my professor where I should go to have my car checked out because it was making a funny noise from the front right tire. He told me to go to pro shop , so trusting his judgment I took my car the and they diagnose it as a cb joint problem, so they fixed and my car has been doing fine. I feel that they are trustworthy ( didn't fell like they were trying to rip me off by telling me of other things they could fix ) , I give 4 stars because I feel the price was a bit on the high moderate side ( keep in mind I don't know a ton about cars but it was like 400 $ to repair 2 cb joints) they were quick I think it took them a day. If I was still in rexburg I would go back if I had car problems ... Good place with good expertize, its also a bit out of town if that matters read more

Our car was having some serious issues and a different shop in town had just ignored our problems so we took it to Pro Shop. First the car died outside the shop and a mechanic came and helped my wife get the car into the shop and then they diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. Eventually we needed to get a lot of work done but the Pro Shop was very quick about doing the work and making sure everything was done correctly at a fair price. I would return here again and I would recommend it to everyone else. read more

Pro Shop has done plenty of work on my vehicle. When I try to set up appointments, Nathan (the gentlemen who works the front desk) he will ask if he can call me back. He has done this four different times and has only returned my call once. I have sense found other mechanic shops that are 30-40 percent cheaper in the Rexburg area. For example they wanted 135 to change a torque converter, once I didn't get a call back from Nathan I found a different place closer to town to do the same job for 76 dollars with just as good of service. Also one thing that really frustrates me about the ProShop is that when you take your vehicle in for anything, their mechanics take it out for a spin down the road. They push the car as fast as it can go to get a 'feel' for the car. I drive a low to the ground vehicle and if you have seen their drive way into their business, you would know to take the dip from the road to the dirt road very carefully. Each time I have brought my car there, I hear my bottom end get crunched. There are just so many other cheaper and better shops in Rexburg I don't see the need to take my vehicle here anymore. read more

AJ and the crew at 0500 Mechanics has always been amazing to my and my family...and my Buick that has never been in great shape. The last two times I came in, we had to split up what we could afford to fix and they were really great about keeping us informed of costs along the way and helping us prioritize repairs. Today we finally got the worst of it repaired and not only did the total cost come to below what we were expecting but they were able to do repairs in a single day that were originally thought to take two days while we waited for parts.
