Right before leaving Utah for Rexburg, my car wouldn't do anything when I hit the gas. It was like the pedal was disconnected. It threw 3 codes and it was stalling out as I tried to accelerate. Luckily we got back, so I brought it here to see if they could figure out what it was. I know how to repair things, but felt like there was an underlying issue causing these three codes and that if I repaired the three parts, it wouldn't fix the issue. Their fantastic technicians figured it out within the day, and I got the car back by the end of the 3rd business day of getting it to them. Price was consistent with what I would expect for a through diagnosis and repair, though if I could have gotten and replaced the bad part myself I would have, since I do repairs often and it would have been cheaper. Opted not to since I'd have to wait to get the part, hope the car would start for me to drive home, and then if something else ended up being the issue I'd have to take it back lol. Their free 50 point inspection and the issues it brought up were awesome since it helps me keep up the cars maintenance.

The worst part is I have never even been to this location for service. I tried addressing the issue with the assistant manager, but instead of taking accountability or helping resolve the problem, she was dismissive and unprofessional throughout the interaction. A mistake like this can seriously affect a vehicle's value and history, so the lack of urgency and customer care was unacceptable. I expect businesses handling vehicle records to pay attention to details and properly correct their mistakes. Very disappointing!

That's where you'll find Jacob and David in Rexburg. First of all, Lance with cutthroat towing got my butt off the freeway, but Aaa wouldn't take the trailer. Lance got me to Randy with all season towing and he came and got the trailer and brought it over to green light auto. I was desperate traveling from Los Angeles to Montana to pick up my son and his car. Everyone could've easily gouged the crap out of me, and not one of them did. I guess that's the difference between California and Idaho. Jacob and David assessed the problem and it was a big job a lot of work and they did it for me the day I brought it in I think an angel sent me to them. To top it off Jacob's suggested I take a walk to the snake river. Absolutely beautiful it's not just the countryside it's the people that make this God's country. They work that they did probably cause damage to my transmission, they either pounded in my CV axle or forced it in some way or another, because it's chipped, which means there's most likely metal shaving in the transmission oil. I have to flush out my transmission oil. It did hold for a year though. But I'm upset that I thought I had the problem fixed & now it is not, & I have to fix their mistakes. Which I now have to pay for again. I'm currently at another shop hoping that they can undo the damage that Jason's caused to my transmission. I was charged $360. $295 for the tow. $55 for the car to sit in his grass field for 24 hours. Because I paid with a credit card I got and extra "HazMat" charge of $13.65. My original conversation with the owner I told him he was a bit high. he hung up on me. All in, Over the Hill is 4 times the rate of AAA. I didn't even get that chance to call AAA because he just hooked up the car and left. I called three other tow companies in Rexburg that quoted half the rate and had no storage fee for the first three days. When in a tight spot or after an accident don't call Over the Hill.
