We were greeted by…read moreAustin who greeted us without dropping a beat and immediately let us look around and test drive cars. He expressed that it's a "no pressure" type of environment and we definitely felt that. We left to browse other dealerships who gave us really good deals but found the next day that Honda could match what we were looking to work with. That was where Martha came into play. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and just straight-up nice and pleasant to talk with. She kept this temperament even after we stayed past closing time, and although we didn't pull the trigger right then and there, assured us we could reach out to her or Austin anytime. We pulled the trigger on my boyfriend's new car Monday morning. Martha was super flexible with scheduling an appointment and sticking true to the deal she had given us a few days prior. Rod was the employee that helped us with the car's paperwork, making sure we knew all our options as far as warranty, gap, etc. Even this stayed true to Austin's comment of "no pressure" and we walked outta there with what worked best for my boyfriend. Super happy with the time we invested there and everyone's service. Every point of the conversation at Smith Honda was great. Thank you so much, y'all! We'll be back in the future.

My wife called this shop to ask whether they could provide a rough estimate based on a description…read moreof the issue she was experiencing. The employee agreed to listen to the situation, so she explained the problem in detail. After listening, he responded by asking, "What color are my socks?" When she was understandably confused, he followed up by saying that she wouldn't know unless she came in and saw them. While we understand that an exact diagnosis often requires an in-person inspection, the way this was communicated came across as sarcastic and disrespectful rather than helpful. A simple explanation that the vehicle needed to be inspected would have been sufficient. Professionalism and customer service matter, especially when customers are trying to understand their repair options. Based on this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I cannot say enough about the service we received here. You just don't find people like this very…read moreoften nowadays. We first heard of R&S from my mother who while in Rexburg had her AC go out. It was in the upper 90's outside and my mom has health conditions that make her susceptible to heat. She was very panicked about driving home to SLC without AC. She called a bigger chain and they told her they did not have time to fit her in and that their waitlist was several weeks out. They called A&S for my mom. A&S fit her in that day and got her AC working for her drive home. She gave us their name and number and told us that if our daughter (attending BYUi) had trouble with her car to call A&S. Hardly believable, almost one week later my daughter had trouble with her alternator. She was able to coast it into her apartment parking lot and called home in tears. I remembered how A&S had taken care of my mom just a week before. I immediately called them. The service we received was impeccable. They picked up my daughters car that day. Diagnosed the problem and gave us options the next day. The following day we had a call that the work was all done. My daughter had no way to pick up the car, so A&S came and picked her up at her apartment and took her to pick up her car. Way above and beyond what would be expected. You just don't find people with this much integrity, kindness, and willingness to help nowadays. A&S is truly one of a kind. If you or anyone you know has car troubles of any kind I would absolutely without any hesitation recommend that you call A&S.

I kept hearing tomorrow, tomorrow till after 5 days the phone just rang and rang. Service finally picked up and I asked them how much longer on the Jeep, and they said they had no idea what I was talking about. They didn't have any wait on cars at the moment. He sent me back to sales where I sat on hold for 53 min before someone hung up the phone on me. Obviously, by this time I was fuming, so I went in. They told me my Subaru was definitely on the list to get done. Next thing I know, someone comes over and says he will have the General Manager call me by no later than 10am the next day. Surprise, no call. I'm not impressed in the slightest! They tell you what they think you want to hear, and then when they can't produce they lie instead of just telling you the truth. Not a good way to ruin a business.

I'm very disappointed with the service department at Young Mazda in Idaho Falls…read more I brought my 2023 Mazda CX-5 in for a check engine light (P0126). They replaced the coolant control valve and told me the repair was complete. Shortly after picking the car up, the heater started cutting in and out, the temperature began fluctuating, and I discovered the coolant was leaking down the side of the engine. This means the cooling system repair was returned to me leaking coolant, which is something that should have been caught immediately during a basic post-repair check. Unfortunately, this is now the second time I've had to bring my vehicle back because a repair wasn't done correctly the first time. Mistakes happen, but returning a vehicle with an active coolant leak shows a serious lack of attention to detail. At this point, my confidence in the quality of work from this service department is very low.

I was told I needed a wheel alignment and agreed to have that done since there was one car on the rack and I was next. Four hours later the car was ready. As I was getting in the car, I saw a greasy hand print on the light colored fabric on the drivers seat. My radio station had been switched and no more than a block away my check engine light came on. I returned to Grease Monkey where I stayed for another hour as they tried to figure out what happened. After over an hour and no one making eye contact, a tech came out to tell me all of the screws in my air box were stripped and a new one would be ordered. They said they would order a new one and call me. I called the store mid week and asked if it was ordered and they said no. Was going to get ordered, I asked. We're talking about it was the reply. So, after five hours in their waiting room, over $250 spent, I have a car with a check engine light on, stained upholstery and a ruined airbox and the 4th of July weekend coming up. Things happen, but the lack of respect Grease Monkey has shown me as a customer and my car is unacceptable and disappointing.
