We have been here twice. The first time was for a light change in our Subaru. It was changed…read morequickly and we didn't find any problems. We went back to have them change our head gasket and back windshield wiper blade. Their quote price was about $1,000 cheaper than other places in Rexburg. We thought we got a great deal. They were quick and very friendly. Unfortunately, we went to a Subaru dealership about 8 months later because the front passenger airbag was recalled (2007 Outback with no accidents). They told us our head gasket is leaking. How can this happen when it wasn't even a year old? Now we're possibly spending another $3,000 or so to get it changed or we'll just have to junk it since we've already put way too much in it. It's very disheartening since we trusted Auto Aspects. Also, when we got our car back after taking it to them, our back windshield wiper was misaligned. We took it back and they fixed it, but it's still frustrating that it wasn't done correctly the first time. Update: I read the comment from Auto Aspects. They are correct, we were within our warranty. However, why would I return to a place when it wasn't done correctly the first time? We took it to the Subaru dealership instead. We trust the dealership's knowledge of or specific car and now we will only be taking our vehicles to dealerships. Lesson learned!

Lance got me to Randy with all season towing and he came and got the trailer and brought it over to green light auto. I was desperate traveling from Los Angeles to Montana to pick up my son and his car. Everyone could've easily gouged the crap out of me, and not one of them did. I guess that's the difference between California and Idaho. Jacob and David assessed the problem and it was a big job a lot of work and they did it for me the day I brought it in I think an angel sent me to them. To top it off Jacob's suggested I take a walk to the snake river. Absolutely beautiful it's not just the countryside it's the people that make this God's country. Eternally grateful to Jacob Lance, Randy and Nancy and I didn't get the dogs name lol.

I got a Rexburg Car Shop coupon in the mail for a full synthetic oil change and $100 off of any other service, so I thought I would give them a try. I brought in my 2011 Mazda 2 for the oil change. They gladly accepted the coupon. When I went in to pick up my car, I was informed that a safety inspection indicated my front brake rotors and pads were worn out, so I scheduled that work. The brake work was done without problems, and was completed on the day promised. The $100 off coupon was gladly accepted. I highly recommend the Rexburg Car Shop. read more

When I was a mail carrier for the USPS, this was the ONLY mechanic shop in the area that I would take my work vehicle to for repairs. Dru was always very honest and up-front about what was wrong with my car, what needed fixed immediately, and what wasn't a big issue, but might be something to keep an eye on. I would usually drop my car off and within 2 days or so at the most, my car would be fixed and ready to pick up. I always appreciated how fair and honest they were, and I highly recommend taking your car here whenever you have an issue. read more

Car Shop is always quick to help and friendly. Dru is very friendly and tells you how things are and tells you why they are doing a certain thing for your car. I have been here multiple times to get my oil changed, and to fix other odds and ends. He doesn't try to get more money out of you. I definitely recommend going here to get your car fixed or tuned up. This is the only place in Rexburg that I recommend going to for car repair and service read more

I have been here a couple times and all I could say is I had a really positive experience when coming here. I felt very welcome and it is super nice that they are honest and allows free check ups. Prices here are very reasonable and they are not willing to rip you off! The overall atmosphere is amazing and it feels like I stepped into a nice dentist office! I took my Toyota RAV4 into Car Shop for an oil change. Maverick and Dru were friendly and professional. The service was done efficiently and well. The waiting room is comfortable and inviting. A good place to read while I waited for my car. I am particular about where I take my cars for service and oil changes. I needed to take a sudden trip across country knowing that when I arrived the car would need an oil change. For the last two weeks my car has been pulling to the right, making me fight and hold my steering wheel left due to a bad alignment. I had the Toyota dealership align the vehicle two weeks ago, still pulled right. I had a local shop in Sacramento align it 3 times just 2 days ago, still pulled right. After driving for 12 hours having to hold the wheel to the left to keep the car straight, I took a chance taking it to Tri State Tire in Rexburg. I didn't have an appointment, and maybe I just came at the right time, but Cody and Levi looked at the car with me, took the time to align it, test drove with me and fine tuned the alignment. After about 30 minutes with them my car was driving perfectly straight! These guys were super polite and listened to my concerns and took the time to explain what was wrong and what they were doing to fix it. If I lived in Rexburg I'd take my car to these guys every time I had maintenance or an issue that needed repair. So thankful for find them!

They did BUT now the key doesnt work. I left tired of the incompetence and afraid of more damage to the vehicle. Once I arrived home I realized they did not return my $500 key I had just bought at the dealer. When I called back they said.........we dont have it, we will look. Never did I receive the key or a refund on the horrible work that was performed. You should never go here unless you dont care about your vehicle, quality work or losing your items that are in their posession. I lost over $1,000 trusting them with my vehicle.

It was just my husband, myself and our young baby to do this. When we got to Tri State, it was pouring rain, and the owner allowed us to transfer everything in his tire shop so we were out of the rain. He also brought some help in to help my husband move everything so I could watch our baby. If it wasn't for his generosity, we would have been moving our belongings in the pouring rain for hours. We are so grateful for their help and generosity to us! They have wonderful customer service and are genuinely great people!
