Superb service and food! They catered our daughter's wedding event. The staff was incredibly professional and polite. They catered our every need and our guests expertly attended to. We were so pleased with the service. The staff was extremely polite and friendly and went out of their way to make our evening special. If they notice that we needed even the smallest thing, they were on it, making sure you got whatever you needed. The food was incredible. So delicious! The hors d'oeuvres were mouthwatering and our guests enjoyed them so much. Then, dinner came and we were even more impressed by the fabulous selection and exquisite cuisine they had prepared for us. We got compliments the entire night on the service and the food. We highly recommend Command Performance for your event. They were truly spectacular and made our wedding event a huge success. read more

Trevor Fitzpatrick was the absolute best. We were so happy with his level of service and attention to detail. He was patient, answered my endless questions, and even guided me through my panic when I thought it might rain on the day of my wedding. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Trevor. He helped may our day exactly what we wanted it to be and kept me from going over the edge during the planning process! read more

I got married back in 2008 and I still refer people to CP every chance I get. Danny made the day so EASY for me. He handled every detail and the event could not have been more special and beautiful. I am writing a review 6 years later because I have been to several wedding and special events since my wedding and none are as professional, delicious, and worry free as CP made my day. I will continue to recommend them every chance I get. read more

We recently had our wedding at Maravilla Gardens and had the pleasure of working with Robert. MVG and Robert made the whole process of picking out our menu a breeze; I actually think it might have been the easiest part of the whole planning process. Earlier in the year Maravilla Gardens hosted a showcase where we were able to try a lot of the food that CPC serves. We definitely picked out a few things that day to add to our menu. Robert answered any questions we had in a prompt manner and had great ideas and menu suggestions. He also helped me pick out additional items such as table linen. At the end of our wedding we received so much feed back on the food. Many guests shared that this was some of the best food they have had at a wedding. I also have to mention how wonderful the service was. Anything our guest needed was taken care of so quickly. We could not have asked for a better team, thank you so much CPC! read more

Pablo and Justin are so incredibly professional, patient, and courteous. I truly wish I could rate them, and their absolutely perfect service, higher! We were so lucky to have worked with them and their amazing crew. Our wedding food was not only fantastic and EXTREMELY DELICIOUS, but EXACTLY what we wanted. Justin and Pablo get back to you in a timely manner and facilitate with any curveballs the day (or days leading up to the big day) throw at you. We are so, so, so happy to have had them as our caterers! They also worked really well with our family and could not have been more kind or energetic (especially since Pablo was with us for 6 hours+). Pablo was also completely understanding of all of our concerns and food choices. Their equipment was state of the art and our food that day was timeless and impeccable. 10/10+ would recommend to anyone! OUR GUESTS COULD NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS! read more

Amazing experience with Command Performance! Manuel and his staff were absolutely incredible to work with! They worked with my budget and created a beautiful event. I didn't have to worry about a thing all evening. They set up early and the wait staff and bartenders were professional and helpful. The food was so delicious! Their set-up and clean up was super fast! They take a lot of pride in their work and it shows! If you're looking to plan a seamless event this is the place to call! read more

WOW! Just WOW! Command Performance Catering knocked it out of the park for our wedding. Dylan's service throughout our wedding process was attentive and professional. The food served was SOOO good. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food (mushroom risotto! YUM! Cheeses!! AMAZING!) They even served us an appetizer and dinner plate knowing that we would be super busy! That was so sweet!! Thank you Danny and Dylan for being so great! read more

We had Command Performance Catering at our wedding at Hartley Botanica on 7/12/14. We worked with Trevor who was awesome not only to consult with before the wedding, but also the day of. He made sure that the bride and groom were taken care of the whole evening. I can not say enough about the food, people are still raving about it a month after our wedding! I was a little hesitant because they do not do a formal tasting. They have an open house where some of the food is available to try. With the amount of options available and help from Trevor we were able to create a great menu for our buffet at our wedding! This company also has rentals available for wedding items. Our linens were provided through them with upgrades available. I rented lace runners, extra night time lights, dance floor, different sweet heart table, and easels from them. Great, great, company! read more

Having good food at our wedding was a top priority for us - we're big "foodies" and couldn't imagine serving our guests the standard wedding menu. I have been fortunate to have previously worked with the CPC team in my previous job - they have always served great food and have been exceptional partners. The service they provided to us for our wedding exceeded our expectations! Danny Margolis, Robert Yamada, and Chef Maya were so wonderful during the whole process. If we had a question, they responded quickly. If we had an issue, they had the solution. Plus, they worked within our budget without sacrificing service or quality. Robert even made sure that cocktails were ready for us and our wedding party after the ceremony, and that my husband and I had a plate of the appetizers. The whole evening went smoothly, and our guests raved about the food during and after the wedding. We have nothing but great things to say about Command Performance. Thank you for helping make our wedding so memorable! read more

We could not be happier with CPC. They catered our wedding in June at McCormick Ranch and truly went above and beyond. We worked with Dylan throughout the entire process and he made everything so seamless and easy. They are reliable and will get back to you within a timely manner. The food is amazing as well! We had multiple guests telling us how delicious the food was and I know a lot of people got seconds! :) I would highly recommend using CPC! Thank you thank you! read more

Command Performance is a must-have for any special event. They recently catered both my rehearsal dinner and wedding, and exceeded my very high expectations. Command Performance delivers on every dimension: --The food is phenomenal - many of our guests told us it's the best they've ever had --The day-of service is outstanding - entire team is polished and professional and special asks from guests were graciously accommodated --The overall communication and attitude is unparalleled - throughout the planning process every question was answered, changes and specific requests were consistently met with "no problem", and recommendations were spot on; Command truly understands how important a special event can be to the planner and does everything possible to bring the planner's vision to life For context, my events were challenging because (a) everything needed to be brought in and then built at the venue and (b) I have some very specific preferences (elegant but approachable, a rustic element but not kitschy, fruit tarts with only berries, balanced density of candles on the tables, etc.). Having amazing food, drinks, and service at our wedding was extremely important to my husband and I, and we're thrilled that Command was there to exceed our expectations. read more

Thank you so much to Command Performance for making our wedding such a success! We got raving reviews about how great the food was from our guests, who kept telling us that they never expect wedding food to be good, but that ours was amazing. Our wedding was a little over a month ago. Command made sure to help us deal with all of our food needs, including not mixing milk and cheese, wanting a Mediterranean dinner, needing vegan and vegetarian options, etc. They were so responsive to every request we made and Danny, the owner, and Maya, the head chef, were both so kind, patient, and understanding about everything. We loved them and we loved the food and are so grateful. Thank you!!! read more

My daughter was married at Hartley in July and the food and service by Command Performance was on of the highlights of the night. Throughout the planning stages, Trevor was responsive and accommodating to every request. He let us use our own table overlays and made sure everything was perfect. I don't normally get excited about wedding food, but all our guests agreed that the food was superb--my sister is still talking about the macaroons! The entire staff worked so hard and made it look like fun. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

They were professional, reliable and the food was so delicious! Our venue was changed 24 hours prior to our wedding because of the fires in the Venture County area and they were so helpful and professional to make our special day happen. Even with the extra stress, they were on time, the staff was excellent, food was extra tasty & quick to come out for our guests to enjoy. Joe was easy to work with throughout the whole process and really cared about our needs. Thanks so much, Command Performance! We highly recommend them! read more

Command Performance is hands down the best of the best! They catered our wedding at the end of October at Eden Gardens in Moorpark, and we could not have asked for a better experience with them. My husband and I were planning our wedding while I was out of the country for most of the year, and Melanie was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process; she made everything very easy for us to plan. The most challenging part of the whole process was trying to decide which hors d'oeuvres and dinner selections to choose, because everything was SO delicious! The food at our wedding was incredible! Initially, I was a little hesitant to select filet mignon as an entree option because I wasn't sure if it would turn out as well for 170 people as it did for our tasting, but I was extremely happy we went with it! We had SO many of our guests raving about the food all night long (and for weeks afterwards)! Many said that it was not only the best meal they have ever had at a wedding, but some even said that it was one of the best meals they had ever had, period! In addition to the food, the service from Command Performance was amazing! We were so happy with the staff that worked at our wedding; they were all extremely helpful, polite, accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend CP if you are looking for a caterer. I would definitely also request to work with Melanie; she will work with you to make sure you are very happy with everything (even if you have a million requests)! She also does more than just manage the catering; she's fully involved in most of the planning. She met with us and a member of the band that we hired to go over spacing and electrical options at the venue, she called to discuss potential contingency plans if it were to rain (which thankfully, it didn't!), she arranged a bunch of rentals for us - she was involved in all of it! We cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Command Performance! read more

Top notch! This is the third event that I have been to where Command Performance was the caterer. Guillermo and Brock were wonderful to work with. The food was delicious and the attention to detail very much appreciated. Highly recommend ! read more

CP catered our daughter's wedding in late August. The food was great and several guests said the fried chicken was the best they had ever had. Trevor was our point of contact and he was patient and accommodating. I would highly recommend using them. They know what they are doing and work well with their clients. The only thing I would have changed is the number of bars at the cocktail party...with over 200 guests, you really need two bars if you don't want lines. Our dessert included s'mores and they were delicious and so much fun. read more

I was so worried about having the usual "wedding food" at our September wedding. It was important to both of us that we found a great caterer, but when the venue we chose informed us they only went through one caterer, CPC, we were too in love with the venue to change our minds. We attended a tasting through our venue 5 months before our wedding. The 5 of us (my now husband, his mother, and my parents) were blown away - the food was delicious! It's actually a fond memory I now have of wedding planning, the 5 of us standing around a tall cocktail table, pigging out on that food! Fast forward to our wedding day, and the food was a hit! I still hear about the jalapeno mac n' cheese and the wedding cookies! The service shouldn't go overlooked, either. All staff were very professionally mannered and dressed. I had one server who was even setting aside appetizers and fruit in the bridal room for me (of course the bride never eats on her wedding day)! Thank you everyone at CPC! Especially Robert! read more

The best in Ventura county! No need to look anywhere else and they have all the bases covered. We were so blessed to have Danny as our event planner. He made our wedding simply magical on our friends family ranch in Hidden Valley. From the catering to the lighting everything was top notch. Thank you Danny and thank you Command Performance! If you want the best, you found it. read more

We have been using Command Performance Catering for over 10 years to host our high school's annual Back to School Night Dinner, Teacher/Faculty Holiday Luncheon, and Teacher/Facutly Appreciation Luncheon. They are fantastic! Tina is our point person and is wonderful to work with. She makes the process so easy - we provide her with our event theme and she comes back with delicious menu options that everyone raves about time and time again! Some of our favorites are the Chicken Pecan, Vintner's Chicken (with the most delectable fire roasted tomato and black fig sauce), and the absolutely divine indiviual carrot souffles. Tina and the Command team take care such good care of us. Tina always gets back to us quickly, the food is always delicious and arrives on time, everyone is so professional and we never have to worry about a thing! We've been using Command Performance 3 times a year for over 10 years - need I say more?!! Thank you Tina and the Command team - you're the best! read more

As a member of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, I regularly get to experience the high quality food and service of the great people at this firm. I hosted several events for my business clients at the library and everyone complimented me on the breakfast and lunch. Just last night I enjoyed this fine company again when I attended a wedding at Quail Ranch in Simi Valley. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

If you're in need of a event caterer, your search is over. USE COMMAND PERFORMANCE! Command Performance recently catered our wedding. THE FOOD: My wife and I have lost track of how many people have raved about how delicious the food was --the braised short rib, the butternut squash ravioli, the carrot souffle, the desserts, the apps, the sliders and fries that were perfectly timed at the end of the night. Not only were people raving about the food during the wedding, but now, 3 weeks later, people are still talking about it. Numerous people have told us it's by far the best food they've ever had at a wedding. THE SERVICE: We worked with Trevor, who was outstanding. He's friendly, laid back and super easy to deal with. On the day of, starting hours before the wedding even started, Trevor kept checking on me and my wife to see if there was anything we needed. This continued throughout the night. I can't recommend Command Performance enough, they were amazing. read more

Horrible horrible customer service!!!! I thought it was just myself, but my maid of honor who's getting married a few months after me at a completely different venue had the exact same complaints and exact same jerk talk to her....coincidence? I think not. Since their company has such a strange hold on all the local venues I'm not looking out of town and am no longer giving Hartley botanica my business for their nursery because of their relationship with the caterer has been so unpleasant. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE INCREDIBLY OVERPRICED RUDE PEOPLE!!! Oh yes and research their fees....literally double or triple other places I've spoken to for identical rentals items. read more

I taught hospitality classes to high school students who have won scholarships to some of the top culinary institutions in America, so I know what a first class catering operation looks like. Command Performance exceeded my expectations! For my husband's 80th party, he wanted the party at our home. I found CPC on Yelp, read all the glowing, practical and informative reviews. We met 6 months before the event, Tina came to the house, brought Kristi from A-party rental Connections to discuss the layout and design of the backyard, we came up a budget for both fair/foul(tenting the entire yard) weather party. Tina emailed me the extensive menu for a buffet dinner. It was amazing, we chose the assorted cheese/fruit platter, Three hummus dips w crispy crackers as set appetizers. For the passed apps, we had Thai meatballs, cilantro shrimp tacos and chicken quesadillas with chipotle. Everyone LOVED the tacos, I only got one. The buffet entrees, braised short ribs in wine sauce, chicken breasts in garlic, artichoke cream sauce, eggplant napoleons garlic rice, country salad, five cheese jalapeño Mac & cheese. Something for everyone's dietary restrictions. The coffee/cookie dessert bar was 5 star and much appreciated. The event was fantastic, everyone still raves about CPC food. Best value for a worry free party. I expected to be charged quite a lot more, but was very surprised about reasonableness. Thanks again for making our event the talk of Chatsworth. Becky read more

I don't leave too many reviews but when I find exceptional performance I think others should hear about it. To begin with, we recently attended an event at the Reagan Library catered by Command Performance and the food was really very good. Usually big catered events get you the mushroom sauce chicken breast. I was very happy to not only have excellent chicken but spectacular tri tip at a carving station, great breads, nice variety of sides and salad, all fresh. None of the usual warmed over food. Just as important, the staff was able to get my wife her gluten free meal, which was both tasty and hot & freshly prepared. The staff also came out to speak with her about other items being served which she could eat. This was top notch food and service. As a result I know we will attend more events held at the Library. If I was in need of a catering company, Command Performance would be my only call. read more

Wow - Command Performance was amazing. Very organized and professional. We highly recommend the crispy artichoke & braised short rib appetizers, the jalepeno mac n cheese, the orzo pasta, and the grilled veggies. We had the buffet and it was well presented. Welp...hate to "fit in" so much here with the other reviews...wish I had something cool & different to say but I dont :-( Command Performance catered my wedding on 9/15/2013 at Hartley Botanica in Somis, CA & WOW...just WOW! I heard great things about their food before (from foodies like me, so the reviews were trusted), but I was still a little nervous to try it myself. Just the words "wedding food" are such a turn off. You think dry & overcooked & typical & blah. But not the case! Everything was so yummy & flavorful & perfectly cooked. We were originally going to do the 3 appetizers & then the bread/cheese display but there were too many yummy appetizers to choose from so we ix-nayed on the bread/cheese display & did the 5 appetizers instead! The buffet spread was also very attractive & inviting. Not that I ever saw it TOO close because we had 1 of their servers bringing us our food & drinks like we were royalty! :-D We also had access to our own appetizers & beverages while we were taking our photos after the ceremony so we didnt have to miss out on that like alot of couples do. The basil lemonade is phenomenal and the white cheddar jalapeno mac & cheese is to die for. They also had some pork belly sliders at our tasting that made my heart skip a beat. We worked with Trevor & he was also a complete joy to work with. I felt like I had alot of weird requests & was KINDA Bridezilla-ish & he never made me feel dumb or annoying. The fact that alcohol was BYOB actually worked out good too because (whispering) Costco will let you return unopened alcohol :-) That's a really cute thought, but most of our leftovers have been consumed by us :-O Anywho, yes...Command Performance is top of the line...the bees knees...ay okay. SUCH a step up from "wedding food." I'm getting hungry just writing this... read more

Command Performance catered our May wedding and the food was INCREDIBLE! Their catering menu is quite extensive and Chef Maya & the staff are quite helpful in making sure meal choices all pair nicely together. We worked mostly with Justin and he was a pleasure to work with--he was great at helping us finalize our menu, he had awesome ideas for our signature drinks at the bar, and anytime we had a question, he was very quick to respond! We did family-style at the wedding and our guests loved it. We chose the Roma Baked Salmon, BBQ short ribs, jalapeno mac n cheese, charbroiled zucchini, asparagus, & red pepper and the carrot souffle. It is hard to choose what my favorite menu item was because it was all DELICIOUS! Our guests absolutely raved about the meal! The Command Performance team was great to work with and I would absolutely work with them again! read more

We used Command for our wedding in September and could not have been happier. We worked with Joe from about one year out. He was always responsive to our emails, went back and forth with us multiple times to help us make the right selections and was just a pleasure. The tasting was incredible - we got to try every single item we were considering, in full portions, which was quite unexpected. We practically rolled out of the tasting. The wedding itself was flawless. We got so many compliments on the food, that it was truly delicious and not typical wedding fare. We also knew we wanted an untraditional dessert incorporating chocolate chip cookies (my favorite) that wouldn't pull people off the dance floor. So we had a cookie ice cream sandwich station which was a HUGE hit. The staff was also very attentive to my husband and me during the entire day, bringing us water during photos, setting up a full spread for us to enjoy after the ceremony (cocktails, red wine, white wine, champagne, water and all of our hor d'oeuvres) and ensured we had whatever salad and entrees we wanted during dinner. All in all, a wonderful experience and we would recommend Command wholeheartedly. I contacted CP two weeks ago and was promised a proposal for the wedding I'm planning over a week ago. The rep called back today to again promise to put a proposal together and send it by the end of the week. I told her to not bother. I didn't get a chance to taste the food because the service, so far, couldn't have made me feel less important as a potential customer. I have had guests call me even now three weeks later to ask us who catered our wedding and what food we served because they would like to try to recreate our meal at home. I have had multiple people say they never remember what they ate at weddings but that our tri tip with chimichurri and the mango lime chicken is unforgettable. The bartending staff was AMAZING and kept up with our crowd who ordered everything from martinis to mai tais. The furniture and linens we rented looked spectacular!
