Brian was absolutely incredible! We had 805 Quesa Birria Tacos cater our rehearsal dinner, and they completely exceeded our expectations. We'd had their food before at their pop-up/storefront, but this was our first time hiring them for an event, and they did not disappoint. The food was amazing, and so many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. They loved the variety of toppings and sides, and everyone appreciated how friendly Brian was while making the tacos fresh for our guests. Fernando was also fantastic to work with throughout the planning process. We had the pleasure of working with 805 Quesabirria for our Moorpark Musketeers Youth Football & Cheer (MMYFC) fundraiser, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, they were incredibly friendly, organized, and efficient. Even with a steady line of families, they kept everything moving while serving fresh, hot food made to order. The tacos were packed with flavor, the quesadilla option was a huge hit with both the kids and adults, and the fresh salsas and garnishes took everything to the next level. Their agua frescas were the perfect addition on a warm evening! The setup was clean, simple, and easy to navigate, which made serving so many little athletes and families a breeze. Now let's talk about that green avocado salsa... it deserves a review of its own! It was hands down one of the best sauces I've ever had. Creamy, flavorful, and so addictive--I seriously could have drank it with a straw! Not only did they provide amazing food and outstanding service, but they also supported our community by partnering with us for a successful fundraiser. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend 805 Quesabirria for catering, private events, community gatherings, and fundraising events. We can't wait to work with them again! As a regional sales manager for Southern California I have to sometimes think outside the box when it comes to throwing lunch events. I had two separate work events to plan and I knew exactly who to call - 805 quesa birria tacos! My first event was an early morning event in Santa Barbara and my second event was a lunch event in Chatsworth a week apart from each other. From the second I contacted Fernando the process of organizing both of these events was a breeze. I let him know the time frames, my budget, the locations, and I was super satisfied. Not only is the food quality amazing, but the communication and ease of booking and paying was super simple. For the breakfast event instead of tacos I asked Fernando if we can do breakfast burritos and they were an absolute hit! For the lunch event, everyone raved about the famous quesa birria tacos. For both events I had rice and beans which were super tasty! His wait staff are super friendly and accommodating as well. I definitely will book other future events with 805 quesa birria tacos! Delicious food and great service! Planning: Fernando was responsive, attentive, and flexible Price: reasonable! We hosted an end of season banquet for our swim team and their families, about 120 people Food: delicious! Safe options for allergies and plenty of food to go around. Tacos of all kinds, drinks, sides, and all the fixings. Service: day of Brian and helper were professional, kind, clean, and fast! They served fresh to order tacos to our group and no one had to wait in line too long. No photos because we were enjoying the party! I would highlight recommend! read more

Fernando and his helper, Robert, were absolutely exceptional from start to finish. They communicated with me every step of the way, showed up early, and were incredibly professional throughout the entire event. They served 100+ people, and somehow managed to keep everything running smoothly. And the food... INCREDIBLE! Every single person was raving about it. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. What really stood out to me, though, was how accommodating and genuinely thoughtful Fernando and Robert were. They were essentially already closed up when I realized I still had a few staff members who hadn't gotten a chance to eat. Without hesitation, Fernando fired the flat-top back up and made sure my guys were fed. That kind of customer service is hard to find. They truly went above and beyond, not only with the food but with making sure everyone was taken care of until the very end. I will 100% be using Fernando and his team again and would recommend them to anyone looking for great food and even better service. Thank you, Fernando and Robert, for all your hard work and for absolutely crushing it! You guys made our event that much better. read more

805 QBT was wonderful to work with! Fernando was communicative right off the bat, answering my dozens of questions thoroughly and professionally. I was able to book my date without issue. I loved that the base menu had variety! The elote was a hit at the party and the inclusion of agua fresca was prime. We hosted at a park and they were so well prepared that set up and serving happened right on time. When they packed up it was like nothing had happened in that spot! I was nervous that we would get fined if oil or something stained the concrete but they had mats. I can't comment enough on how prepared they were! Gus was our guy and he was FANTASTIC! 10/10 recommend his services at your event. The only hiccup was that I didn't realize that the leftovers needed to be placed in containers that we provide. That was my fault though, I had never catered an even and didn't think to ask about that. But it made complete sense and was easily resolved. Once I had the containers, they did the packing of the leftovers. We got to enjoy the delicious food for a day or two more! At the end of the party I even lost my keys and Gus was kind enough to help us search the park for them. He is a stand up guy! This company is not just in it for the money. They genuinely enjoy what they do and it shows in their actions! I highly recommend! read more

Pretty good start up taco shop in Simi Valley. I'm giving it a 4.5 star rating. Pricing 5/5 Birria Tacos 5/5 Fish Tacos 4/5 Pricing: 5 Birria tacos for $20 is a good price especially that I don't have to drive down to the valley or downtown to get good Birria tacos. Birria Tacos: Flavorful meat. Good presentation. Yummy condiments. The Habanero hot sauce was good, but wasn't spicy enough. Would like to see a spicier sauce in their options. Fish Tacos: Good size fish, but may be a little salty. I think seasoning can be better. Will come and try again in the near future. read more

My husband came home with tacos from this restaurant and they were so delicious that we went back for more the next day.

I recently got married and used 805 Quesa Birria Tacos as my caterer. I was not the bride who knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding...except I knew I wanted to serve tacos :) I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience with Fernando and his team. From the very first intro call to the day of the wedding, Fernando made everything so easy. I told my mom prior to the wedding that if the tacos were half as good as the customer service, we would have the BEST caterer and experience. And well, the food OUTDID itself as did the service. People in SoCal know good tacos and I think every single guest told us how much they loved the food! I have already had many guests ask for Fernando's info for future parties and events and I will certainly use again when I can. Oh...and don't skip on the dessert! The churros and cookies were a huge hit!! I still think about them! Fernando really did more than just provide wonderful food and service. I had a few pain points in the logistics of the wedding that I was having trouble figuring out. When Fernando heard them, he had a solution for every single one. It was simply a joy to get to work with him. read more
