Very bad experience with Mr. Omelette today I had a bridal shower brunch for my daughter Booking with him was not the easiest, but did it due to recommendations for his service and food. When I arrived I asked the server for water, they had a pitcher of water I asked is that filtered or bottled, he responded no it's tap. I looked at my contract and it said water provided. Prior to this I asked if he supplied bottled water he said yes. As the party went on, I started noticing many things he said he would provide were not there No mini muffins Only 2 bialys I paid for a Bloody Mary set up, he had Bloody Mary mix, however there were no lemons, celery, olives for the drinks, these were listed in my contract. My granddaughter had to go to the store and miss a good part of the shower to go purchase all of the missing items I texted him several times about this without any response I told his worker to call him about this because he was not responding He finally responded being very rude and after I explained all the things wrong, he told me he would only take $30 off my bill. He was not apologetic at all, instead it seemed as if he was annoyed. I spent much more than $30 along with the inconvenience of my granddaughter having to go to the store and more importantly missing a portion of her aunts shower I would not recommend him at all He does not care about his customers. read more

Had my first experience with Mr. Omelette at a catered event at my work place. This business is catering only, there is no physical restaurant. The owner is David Model (pronounced Moh-Dell), he is friendly, speaks with an east coast accent and can whip up omelettes in a minute. Hes been in the catering business for about 20 years. Besides fresh personal omelettes, he can also make waffles, crepes, smoothies and cappachinos at events. With the omelettes there was a large tray of pastries, danishes and mini-muffins. A large basket of assorted bagels, cream cheese and butter included. Beverages provided were freshly brewed coffee and orange juice. I am impressed with the number of ingredients provided, his early arrival, and quick set-up time. If I had a party or event of 30+ to host this would be an interesting and fun thing to try. WHAT A JOKE! This company will nickel and dime you for every little detail. I just about to hire this company until I found out that they will only serve omelettes for 1.5 hours total. I asked Jennifer, the owner's wife, whether the chef would be able to cook for an additional 30 minutes, making it a full 2 hours and was told that I would be CHARGED $75 extra for 30 MINUTES when I was already paying for the omelette bar. My party was called for 9:30am and people didn't even show up until 10/10:30am so my guests would only really get an hour of omelettes. Had I hired Mr. Omelette I don't believe that the chef could have even prepared over 40 omelettes in an hour. And, thats assuming that everyone would want an omelette at the exact same time. Again, I wanted to host a leisurely Sunday morning brunch party, not a rigid rushed dine and dash event. Who would want to attend a party like that?!? Maybe David and Jennifer Modell (AKA Mr. Omelette). When I complained, Jennifer explained that they were a small business who had to make money. Well, with an attitude like that, they will continue to remain a small business. Clearly they do not understand the concept of referrals along with making the customer happy. I ended up hiring Savor Organico who rocked it out. I HIGHLY recommend SAVOR ORGANICO btw! They even cleaned up for me. A HUGE THUMBS DOWN for Mr. Omelette. Bad attitude and they overcharge.
