I was shopping in the Via Colinas little ally way and OMG.. I didn't really know this place was open for everyday eating, and the lady who owns the store next door told me to grab lunch there. She couldn't stop raving about how amazing the food was.. Well she was right. It was Taco Tues. specials and THE BEST ever. She even makes her own chips from scratch. She told me every item on the extensive menu is done from scratch. EVERYTHING... Food was awesome.. The table next to me stayed dirty is the only thing I could say, and the staff were not busy, so I hope she reads this. Where should I begin? Patty and her amazing team catered my wedding on June 1, 2013. They exceeded my expectations and absolutely knocked it out of the park! Patty is a doll. June 11 was a combo graduation party for Mother/ Daughter from UCLA. We had all ages from 21 to 81, Everyone raved about the food and the help. I booked Merlins Kitchens for a four day film shoot in Malibu. The service was fantastic. They delivered early each day, and the entire crew was very happy with the food. The prices were the best I could find. One of the crew members had a gluten allergy, and the staff was very accommodating. I think the BBQ sandwiches were the most popular. The food is bomb but the service sucks. I truley believe that the young lady who works at the register should stay in the back until she learns how to properly greet repeat customers and smile.
