Incredible food, incredible customer service! I was involved in planning an outdoor party including a BBQ for 1400 people. From the very first meeting, Marcy confidently answered all of our questions and provided information before we even asked. She told us she would be present at our event and help coordinate all the other vendors so the food and set up would go smoothly. Marcy and her team are first rate. First, we had every confidence the food would be top notch. Marcy and the executive chef are down-to-earth and customer-oriented. One popular caterer in the area was consistent with her reputation - great food, but can't get a call back, email on time, etc. Next. Then we tried another popular one. All sounded good, but when we asked for a tasting, they said sure, right after our check cleared for a deposit. Are you kidding me? We asked Marcy for a tasting and they came to our house and did it there. How convenient. Brought in their own equipment and fixings and just used our kitchen to cook it. Everything was delicious. Marcy and her team are flat out the best. She not only handled the catering but she provided solid advice about stages of the wedding planning and food choices. She provided excellent catering service but she also provided extra finishing touches with drinks and such before and after the ceremony as well as during the reception. We had my wedding at my parents home for about 140 people, and her staff was so organized and detailed with set up and clean up. Her staff was very respectful of my parents home, from covering the floors while prepping and serving to the clean up inside and outside of the house. Those who attended the wedding had nothing but phenomenal comments about the food and all of her staff being so attentive to the guests as well as the bride and groom. Where to begin... Five stars are not nearly enough stars to adequately rate, compliment, and praise Chef Ray's amazing culinary skills. I've had the fortune...luck to be able to host a couple of private events (prior to him joining Cielo Catering Events) and he's prepared incredible feasts each time. From braised short ribs with pomme de terre dauphinoise to chocolate covered succulent strawberries. Each bite of his food is like tasting a little piece of heaven. The braised short ribs literally melt in your mouth, you don't have to chew much they are that tender. When you sink your teeth into one of Chef Ray's creations you taste not only the delicate balance of the fresh and top quality ingredients, you taste the care, the attention, the passion and dare I say love he puts into his food. I was an out town guest at a Bar-Mitzvah party catered by Cielo Catering + Events this past Saturday. While I don't live in the area, I am in the business and felt it was important to post a review. Marci Feldman and her team are among the best I have seen. I work with a list of the top caterers in my area. That said, Marci and the Cielo team totally wowed me! Not only was the freshness and food quality outstanding, the staff was attentive and professional. Noting the youthful staff, this is especially impressive! They were so friendly without overstepping and were never in your way. Back of house was organized and the staff was helpful when my mom could not go up portable restroom steps. The Executive Chef came over and offered to bring her inside the house right to a bathroom on the other side of the door. The teamwork was obvious. There was an overwhelming sense of calm as they flawlessly executed a perfect event. Quantity was plentiful and again I have to point out freshness. It was like they picked the veggies that day. An event planner can never turn it off. I rarely attend an event, dinner, gala or meeting without having comments about the venue or caterer. It was perfect down to the last detail. Believe me, I was looking! The Food Truck theme was fun. Everything was prepared on site, The tables were frequently cleared as they used high quality disposables to match the theme. Trash cans were discreetly placed and setup was organized and neat. Showing the high level quality and attention to detail, the Food Truck theme was very classy. The sliders were high quality with a choice of sauteed mushrooms and onions on a delicious, fresh bun. The french fry bar included sweet potato fries. The Chinese food was not greasy and tasted clean and fresh with herbs and spices. Simple details like a separate soda station and fun appetizers for the kids and an elegant Mediterranean hors d' oeuvres presentation for the adults were perfect. The team was beyond nice. Totally down to earth and not pretentious yet executed at a very high level. I wish Cielo was in my state because I would add them to our preferred caterer list! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cielo Catering and Events! They donated a cooking party for our schools Fall Festival raffle baskets. My daughter was the super luck one whose raffle ticket was picked! My daughter loves cooking but she has a crazy long list of foods that she is allergic to, so I was very worried as to how they were going to pull this off. That worry ended the minute I talked to the owner Marcy. She put all my worries to rest and assured me that they would make absolutely positive that everything was safe for my daughter to eat. Marcy and Chef Ray came up with multiple menu options for my daughter to pick from Marcy was wonderful with communication and making sure every detail was taken care of. The party could not have gone better! My daughter and her 5 friends had an AMAZING time, as did I! Chef Ray was amazing with the kids. He explained everything to them, the hands on cooking that the girls got to do alongside him was awesome, and everything they made was delicious! Marcy made up copies of the menu and the recipes for all the girls to take home with them. We even got to keep the leftovers and my daughter got to make the meal for her dad when he came home from work and show off her newly learned skills! To say that Marcy and Chef Ray went above and beyond is an understatement! For them to donate such an amazing party to an elementary school raffle shows what great people they are from the get go, but the time, quality and care that they put into this party shows what outstanding character they have and what an amazing company they run. We used Cielo Catering for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah and Marcy could not have been more accomodating. She is the SWEETEST woman you will ever meet and she truly wants to do the best job possible for you. We were late in planning our planning our party but, once we met with Marcy, she assured us we were just fine and took all our ideas and came up with a fabulous menu the very next day. My daughter wanted a Lawry's inspired menu (prime rib, etc.) and the food was very good and nicely presented. Marcy also recommended a fabulous party planner - Stacy Fisher of Shindigs by Stacy. Marcy and Stacy worked together as a team for us and we were in great hands. They also recommended a fabulous DJ (Real Genius) and we didnt have to worry about anything after that. We used Marcy and her team at Cielo for my son's Bar Mitzvah at the end of October. Marcy was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Of course the pinnacle was the amazing food for a daytime event that everyone RAVED about. It's fresh, innovative and there is something fir everyone to eat Nd enjoy. But it was everything leading up to the event- Marcy has so much experience I just knew we had nothing to worry about with her in charge. She was also excited to help us to bring our vision into a reality. It was fun to plan it with her and dream about the party. She has great ideas but is always looked by at what you want as the client. Many of our guests were from out of town and a few of them are renowned restaurateurs in other states- everyone just loved the food and the ambience it created. We had an Asian Fusion food theme and it was just delicious! Even with a few snafus during the event she just smoothed it all out and can handle problems that can come up. We will always remember and be appreciative for all of her hard work as well as her super professional staff. We will definitely use Cielo again for any party we have!! I usually cook on Christmas (and I'm pretty good). BUT this year I took a chance and hired a caterer. I was THRILLED! They arrived while I was still wrapping gifts and by the time I finished wrapping, my house smelled like a five star restaurant, the table was set with china and crystal and Marcy ( the owner of the company) was handing me a drink. Chef Ray made the most amazing meal my family has ever eaten. Lamb and salmon were the main courses and among the many amazing side dishes were potatoes au gratin, spring vegetables in some kind of yummy sauce and monkey bread. (I ate the leftover bread at midnight). The meal was presented by lovely people who served with grace and style. I am spoiled forever.
