I have been an action figure collector my whole life and this store was like heaven to me. Every space is covered top to bottom with rows and display cases of modern and vintage action figures and toys from various eras. The prices are reasonable and not egregious like some other stores I've been to. There are plenty of lose figures for really good deals and many are complete with their respective accessories. The staff I met were offered to get stuff from way up on the high shelves for me to look at and were patient even when I decided to put things back. I found a vintage Mighty Max figure from 1971 and one staff member helped me figure out what it was via a google lense search. If you are a collector of vintage or modern action figures/toys there's something here for you.

Super knowledgeable and friendly staff there. Comics galore, board games galore. Old vintage stuff, pop culture huge treasure trove of collectibles. Plan to spend a while here Parking isn't bad. Street parking available in this nice neighborhood. Was looking for an Indy comic set Uber and of course these guys had it! I'll be back!

Collectors paradise right in Davis Square--there's really something for everyone here. They have comics, funkos, retro toys, and more. I even saw they even host games towards the back of the store which is really cool. The people working there are super friendly and helpful too. Check this place out!

Wow, this place is large and it is very well stocked. Shelves upon shelves of densely packed comics and comics accessories. Figurines, toys, even some new-in-box Matchbox cars. I am seriously impressed! I picked up a gift for my daughter while I was here. Helpful staff!

Awesome comic book store. Exactly what I was looking for during my unexpected free afternoon during…read moremy Boston visit. Walked in and one of the employees asked if I was new there. I said Yes and he then gave me their quick spiel. From other reviews it looks like 20% off isn't new and has been a thing for a very long time. I didn't find, in general, their prices to be too bad. A few books maybe but they're smack in the middle of the city in a high tent area and their selection of pretty much everything is great, do slightly higher prices are understandable. Highly suggest a visit for current books, back issues, slabs, and I think lots of gaming stuff as well (I didn't pay attention to their non-comic stuff). It was actually fun for me.

(The prices were a little high to begin with so the sale made them more regular). The display comic books had cool identifiers like the first appearance of Hawkeye, for example. They were valued higher because of these specifics. Even those were 20% off today. My husband's only critique was that some of the long boxes were packed too tight such that he would've had to pull out multiple comic books just to be able to search through the box. He says he would've bought more if there were about 15 fewer issues per long box. Come check it out!

Their new releases are organized well, and they have a staggering selection of new books for a shop with such a small footprint. They also have an extensive selection of US trade paperbacks, as well as a nice little bargain area with collected individual issues. If you're into manga, you owe it to yourself to stop in and check out their offerings, which span floor to ceiling from the front of the store to the back of the store, and go way deeper down the rabbit hole than you'll find in a mainstream store. I picked up all six volumes of a wacky new manga, Golosseum, on my last visit and received a discount since I bought multiple volumes of a series in one purchase, which was quite nice. When I've visited, staff has been polite and helpful. The shop is clean and is clearly run by someone who loves comics first and foremost. If you're looking for the latest Pop vinyl figures, t-shirts, etc., go to Newbury Comics, or another pop culture shop. If you're in Boston and are looking for a place to buy the latest comics or manga, Comicopia is your spot.

I found things to buy but when you spend your childhood spending half to a third of your one dollar allowance on a comic it's hard to consider modern prices. But any modern fan should stop in!

I usually only come into these stores with my husband because he's the nerd but lemme tell ya, even I saw a few things that I'd like to have. Fortunately, for my pocket book and for my carry-on, my husband kept his cool and just bought a few small things that he hasn't seen in any of the shops where we live. He was super excited to check everything out and get things he can't get at home and I was lucky it was all small things. Why 4 stars? The place is upkept well but it kind of smells musty and weird in here. The employees are kind of meh, not very helpful or friendly. Also, pricing is a bit high, comparatively speaking, so the value is a bit low, but I do understand this place in a tourist zone, so I get it.

So, after coming into this shop, I knew I could potentially find something unique for my husband! They have every toy, anime or movie theme here imaginable! T shirts, tons of blind boxes, comics and novelty merch. I did check out the comics to see if there were any Transformer comics. Unfortunately there wasn't any. I did also check out their Transformers Blokees but my husband already had a majority of them. Nothing else really caught my eye for him as a take home present. My lack of stars is not for the store itself but for the staff. I interacted with 3 of them and all were unbelievably rude. I know they deal with a lot of traffic from tourists but if you can't handle customer service with tourists then maybe you should find a better fitting job. Customer service should not be it. I left with some Harry Potter themed Uno cards. Spending 11 dollars here truly pissed me off but I know my friend will love them. Have no expectations from the staff and you'll leave happy.
