(The prices were a little high to begin with so the sale made them more regular). The display comic books had cool identifiers like the first appearance of Hawkeye, for example. They were valued higher because of these specifics. Even those were 20% off today. My husband's only critique was that some of the long boxes were packed too tight such that he would've had to pull out multiple comic books just to be able to search through the box. He says he would've bought more if there were about 15 fewer issues per long box. Come check it out!

A few books maybe but they're smack in the middle of the city in a high tent area and their selection of pretty much everything is great, do slightly higher prices are understandable. Highly suggest a visit for current books, back issues, slabs, and I think lots of gaming stuff as well (I didn't pay attention to their non-comic stuff). It was actually fun for me.

A few days later, I rec'd a letter with a check for 1 of the coins that he had mislabeled and was worth more. I will be returning if I find any of interest. He has limited hrs, so call to get the recording of store hours. Not slick or gimmicky, just old-time, honest service!

Stopped and spoke to someone about a couple of unique gold coins I had where each face was written in a different language that did not use the Roman/ Latin letters. They gave me their business card and asked me to email them a photo. It did take me a little while to email it over, but finally did and then crickets. Months later I went back and spoke to someone else and brought one of the coins with me. They photographed it and said that I should hear back soon and when I asked a couple of weeks and they said should be sooner, but that the experts were working on a big auction the next week so it may take a little longer. They took my info and said I would get back to me. I said I would stop back in a month. Went back around 6 weeks later and the person recognized me and said they hadn't heard back. I asked them to follow up and they said they would. Never heard back so I stopped in again. They said they would get back to me. Before going to them, I tried to use google translate I tried using google translate to figure out what it was and tried a few times after. After my last visit, I tried to use google translate, but accidentally used image search and found out exactly what it was, the history, the value and the scarcity...

My mistake was not checking to see what was actually in the bag..... Not the colors I ordered and no, I did not say that substituting the items was OK (because it wouldn't have been). Complete waste of time since I now need to return them and feel like a weirdo returning Easter stuff AFTER the holiday when I have time (and will not be returning to Cambridge). I always use pick-up and have never had a problem, lesson learned! Thanks for wasting my time (and $3.98 gallon gas)!

Some items are grown on the farm some sourced from other farms and some just regular grocery items that you would find at any generic supermarket. The vegetables that were grown on this farm were all marked and were fabulous but they were very far and few between. they were selling some local farms goods which increased the options of locally grown. I did like the bread section some locally made in some generic.. they also have foods that are prepackaged. I like the items that were made at the farm. The others were just overpriced generic items. all in all I'd say about 40 to 50% is grown and produced, the rest are just basic generic grocery items with a higher price on them. The space is fabulous very refreshing and comfortable to walk around. the staff always seems nice, polite, and willing to answer questions. I definitely suggest that you stop in as it is a great place to shop. as for parking, they have a huge private parking lot and space outside to sit. They also have greenhouse plants for sale.

They have a good-sized selection of kids books (for a store of its size), so it's a good place to bring the kiddos. While it's right on Main Street in downtown Natick, you might miss it if you're driving, since, although it says Ten Trees Books on the door (window?), the big lettering on the building says "The Hive." The store is still kind of in its early days, I think, with plans to add events and such in the works, according to Kim, it's owner, with whom I've had a couple of very friendly conversations. They do currently host a Classics Book Group on the first Thursday evening of the month, but I'm not sure if they have any other book groups yet. I look forward to watching them grow and hope they're able to thrive....I know it's tough for independent bookstores in this day and age, but I also know that Natick is the kind of town to have the type of people who will try and support it. If you live in, or are visiting, Natick and you like books, I heartily recommend checking it out!
