The comic selection is pretty great like there's tons here that you could look for hours and there's also so many other things collectibles to find here So ends the good When I say this place is overpriced I'm not saying by a small amount this place is crazy OVERPRICED asking upwards of 10-15 dollars for non key Batman legends of the dark knight books even tho you can get almost the whole run for 2 dollars a book. The condition of the priced books is also Horrendous! 20$ keys were COVERED in spine ticks but had 60$ price tags on them "uncanny x men 138" for 60 dollars when it has more ticks than a stray dog is highway robbery Lastly they have a HUGE sign outside that clearly states "we buy sell trade comics, games, cards" yet when I asked the guy if he was interested in looked at the books I brought he said "sorry our guy only does business online". So put that on your sign then Just stay away from this place it puts scalpers to shame with its prices of beat up comics

The prices are reasonable and not egregious like some other stores I've been to. There are plenty of lose figures for really good deals and many are complete with their respective accessories. The staff I met were offered to get stuff from way up on the high shelves for me to look at and were patient even when I decided to put things back. I found a vintage Mighty Max figure from 1971 and one staff member helped me figure out what it was via a google lense search. There are also several handicapped spots on Moody Street. Shop is handicapped accessible, though it is a pinch cramped in the back. I've been able to maneuver with a rollator and cane. So, after coming into this shop, I knew I could potentially find something unique for my husband! They have every toy, anime or movie theme here imaginable! T shirts, tons of blind boxes, comics and novelty merch. I did check out the comics to see if there were any Transformer comics. Unfortunately there wasn't any. I did also check out their Transformers Blokees but my husband already had a majority of them. Nothing else really caught my eye for him as a take home present. My lack of stars is not for the store itself but for the staff. I interacted with 3 of them and all were unbelievably rude. I know they deal with a lot of traffic from tourists but if you can't handle customer service with tourists then maybe you should find a better fitting job. Customer service should not be it. I left with some Harry Potter themed Uno cards. Spending 11 dollars here truly pissed me off but I know my friend will love them. Have no expectations from the staff and you'll leave happy.

He was super excited to check everything out and get things he can't get at home and I was lucky it was all small things. Why 4 stars? The place is upkept well but it kind of smells musty and weird in here. The employees are kind of meh, not very helpful or friendly. (The prices were a little high to begin with so the sale made them more regular). The display comic books had cool identifiers like the first appearance of Hawkeye, for example. They were valued higher because of these specifics. Even those were 20% off today. My husband's only critique was that some of the long boxes were packed too tight such that he would've had to pull out multiple comic books just to be able to search through the box. A few books maybe but they're smack in the middle of the city in a high tent area and their selection of pretty much everything is great, do slightly higher prices are understandable.
