I stop here every time I visit Boston. They've bought the second floor levels in each of the stores beside them, leading to an "Alice in Wonderland" effect. Once you're upstairs, the shop only keeps going further back. It has plenty of Funko Pops, Books, Music, and Knick Knacks. Highly recommend if you're in the area! It's cheap and the service is great.

So many cool stuff in this store and I loved the vinyl/music section alongside the various blind boxes, some of which are rare. Its a bit pricey but not bad for Boston prices. Such a fun place

HUGE comic book shop! Registers everywhere and so much to look at. Everyone is helpful I'm showing you where things are. You can get some great deals on sale stuff but the rest of the prices are what you would expect.

This is the entire selection of comics.

WARNING: This is NOT a comic shop. If you, like me, are a collector of comics, this place is not for you. I drove 90 minutes (one way) to check this place, since it has such great reviews. After walking through their various rooms of pop culture junk, I asked a worker where their comics are, she walked me up to the rack pictured. I did end up buying a jaw harp for my daughter and a Minecraft poster for my son; their pricing was definitely fair for such a touristy location.

If you stop by Quincy Market you got to visit Newbury Comics. It looks pretty small from the iutside but It's actually a pretty huge store with 2 floors. It's such a fun store. They literally have a bit of everything: mangas, comics, books, plushies, toys, Funko pop! figures, board games, vinyl records, back pack, refrigerator magnets and many more. Everything was pretty organized. Great place to grab some last minute gifts or simply something for your liking. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.

Super cool place to check out if your by Quincy Market! They've got something for every age range. Items for collectors, readers, music enthusiasts and so much more! There's multiple checkout spots and plenty to explore upstairs on the second floor too. We were asked not once but twice if we needed assistance despite it being packed on a weekend so that was super appreciated.

Hot Topic plus FYE plus a comics store. I was here when a busload of tweens were shopping so the place was crowded with them. On two floors, a large selection of gaming and movie and popular culture toys and tshirts and posters. The large display of Christmas ornaments was pretty cool and I very nearly bought a "leg lamp:" and a "Mister Hanky." Prices weren't cheap but this isn't stuff you'll find in many other places. It's always been super-easy to update my subscription and I love discovering all the pop culture gems when I visit: used records, CDs, DVDs, Disneyana, games, toys, and of course comic books! All at reasonable prices. I love the bins of action figures; you never know who you'll find! Free handicapped parking can be found in the metered lot behind the shop on Chestnut Street. There are also several handicapped spots on Moody Street. Shop is handicapped accessible, though it is a pinch cramped in the back. I've been able to maneuver with a rollator and cane. If you need help navigating or reaching anything, the owner is happy to help.

As a Disney nerd I was very excited to scan their vast amount of Disney collectibles. Statues, pins, books, comics, stuffed animals, die cast cars, you name it they have it. As soon as you walk in you can smell the paper, books and comics from wall to wall. The gentleman that works there was extremely nice and helpful with trying to find certain comics my oldest was looking for. It definitely let me walk down memory lane with some of the old comics they have available. The pricing is reasonable too, if I didn't budge well I'd leave that store with empty pockets but with a treasure trove of goodies.

Holier than thou attitude. Shouldn't be working anywhere near a customer-facing role. Walked up to the counter to checkout with some singles, said "hi", he stares at me like I'm an alien from another planet and says nothing. I ask what the limit policy is for the new Pokemon Ascended Heroes blisters, he curtly says "1 item". I ask "1 item each?" since that's how some of the other LCS spots are doing the new release. He repeats "1 ITEM" clearly annoyed. If you don't want people to ask questions about your store policies, either BE CLEAR UP FRONT or FIND EMPLOYMENT ELSEWHERE. Cut it with the vague ass bullshit. You work at a board game/card shop, get off your high horse. If he had simply said "1 item TOTAL", I wouldn't have had to ask for clarification. I wouldn't even be writing this review. He rings me up, hands me my stuff, I say thanks, he says nothing back. Like... why? All the other employees say "you're welcome" or "have a good day" or *something* when you check out. This guy doesn't even have the decency, basic manners or social skills to do that? Why is he behind the counter? Stick him in the basement where he belongs. I've been frequenting this spot for awhile. They have a great selection of singles, and I love flipping through their binders to see what I can find and add to my collection. This is how loyal customers get treated? I'm paying for POKEMON CARDS. I'm not paying for disrespect. Won't be back anytime soon. Y'all don't deserve my business putting people like that behind the counter.
