The inside of the comic store is also very bright and clean, unlike most comic book places I've seen that have a darker atmosphere to them. A few books maybe but they're smack in the middle of the city in a high tent area and their selection of pretty much everything is great, do slightly higher prices are understandable. Highly suggest a visit for current books, back issues, slabs, and I think lots of gaming stuff as well (I didn't pay attention to their non-comic stuff). It was actually fun for me.

(The prices were a little high to begin with so the sale made them more regular). The display comic books had cool identifiers like the first appearance of Hawkeye, for example. They were valued higher because of these specifics. Even those were 20% off today. My husband's only critique was that some of the long boxes were packed too tight such that he would've had to pull out multiple comic books just to be able to search through the box. He says he would've bought more if there were about 15 fewer issues per long box. Come check it out!

My brother got a Tshirt and some socks and my husband bought a book. The staff was helpful. Freezing cold in there with the a/c blasting but I'm sure it would feel good later when it's warmer and when it's crowded. Didn't really check the prices but apparently they were ok because people bought stuff. Come check it out! Newbury street is fun for shopping anyway!

One of the highlights is the vinyl section downstairs. Really cool selection and a must check if you are into records. Definitely worth popping into if you are in the area.

The new space is even better than the old one. They are currently running a great event, "Your Own…read morePrivate Bookstore," which lets you rent the bookstore for an hour after closing on Friday evenings for a party of 5-10 people while the staff close up. The entire booking fee applies to any purchase you make as well, which I did not expect and found incredibly generous. The staff basically just let you do your thing, though are around in case anyone needs anything. Definitely a good time.

They also have a small table in the middle of the store plus some chairs scattered around the store for seating to do some reading. I saw a sign on the door that they do events for the community and have book authors can by. They have a bargain and 20% section to save some money. It's big inside and I got lost looking at toys and reading excerpts of some books (including the Grimm Fairytales) and spent about an hour here. Overall, I appreciate the amount of variety of items they carry and I think that sets them apart from other bookstores.

I really enjoyed browsing through the comic books- there is something for everyone. Whether you are a fan of Venom or a fan of Tom and Jerry, you will definitely find something of interest. There are also a bunch of autographed sports jerseys on the walls. You can tell that the owners are extremely passionate about sports and comic books. They have weekly trade nights (check their Instagram for dates). They can also help you to get your comic books graded. I am excited to see what other new merch the store will have. This is also a great place to grab gifts for friends who love sports and comics!

When I got there, they had a small box full of singles sub $10 and some graded cards. The person I spoke to in the store seems nice, but if you're looking for Pokemon cards, I'd probably recommend checking somewhere else first.
