Stayed here from April 23-26. Check-in went smoothly, and the lady at the front desk was really friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and larger than expected. The bed was very comfortable, the AC worked great, and the small fridge even had a functional freezer, which was a nice bonus. The only downside was that the pool was closed during my stay, which was a bit disappointing. read more

It's 4am in the morning & we woke up to a loud sweeping like noise outside our door. My husband quickly looked through the peep hole & no one was there. I then got up to use the restroom & noticed that sweeping noise was them shoving a paper receipt through the crack between the door and the door frame! At 4am. Now, I'm up! I just want to know their thinking process behind this ??? Everything is fine. But not great. Tub is dirty around drain, it was closed and water was left built up in tub. Carpet had some stains. You know as an elite yelper I am always completely honest but try to put my honesty into respectable words but this place is a sht hole. I stayed here for a total of 7 day? We check in about 4pm On a Sunday my job picked this hotel it was close to our job site. So right off the bat the the woman at the counter goes oh wow are you all really going to show up and check in....um why yes we are? (Who books and pays for 9 rooms and doesn't show? Lol) she then looked at my ID my name matched what was wrote on a keycard and that was all she needed. It was odd to me we didn't have to sign anything no car details nothing she tells us to park at the other end to get to our room where the side door we were told to use to bring our luggage upstairs wouldn't work with any of the 4 keycards we had. We tried over and over until finally it works already exhausting we figure out there is no elevator so you lug everything up and down the stairs. If up on the second floor. The ice machine is broke. The whole hotel has an old musty smell. (Fabreeze is part of my Togo kit) the rooms were painted by a whole bunch of toddlers there is paint everywhere yet the walls had missing blotches. There was mold that wouldn't go away even with straight bleach. My carpet had mystery stains it was disgusting but I was willing to just deal until I saw a bed bug crawl across my pillow at 2am while I'm getting ready for work...I then found bedbug number 2 that afternoon. The next morning I had a couple of bites....as I write this I am in my new hotel a little further away but no bed bugs and alot cleaner room. Oh breakfast is microwave sausage, fake scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, bagels, English muffins, some muffins, yogurt. Not much and not good but its part of the stay. This was my experience and you are an afult and have adult money you spend it how ever you please but remember bedbugs are no joke. Don't take them home make sure you clean everything before you bring it into you home. read more

This place is great. The best pillowsin the world. The occupant controls the temp. Nice clean rooms and fantastic friendly staff. I was there not long ago. My pug had just had a major cyst removed from his jaw. We were there lass than an hours and i noticed bolld on a pillow case. In panic i told staff who simply said strip the bed , they would take care of it. Surprisingly as it sounds there was no charge. These people are great. The place is just plain nice. This isn't good. First of all, side doors don't unlock with the key. Hot tub is broken and gross, pool is green and disgusting. Found an earwig on the towels in the pool room too. Bed was good in my room, though many reviews are horror stories all focused on how bad the bed was. Bathroom is gross: shower gross, counter dusty, floor gross. The hair dryer they have had dust in it (Although what did I expect from a hotel that is run down.) Stained furniture, stained lampshade, paint on the walls poorly done (not important but noticeable.) Service is mediocre, the lady was nice enough but not helpful besides in telling us good places to eat. Had a friend stay here in the summer and tell me that her door has a giant crack and she could see almost perfectly out into the hall. Location is not great, it's in a pretty run down part of town compared to other places. Hotel itself is really wore and clearly old and dated, ***don't trust the photos of only the check in*** Only good thing is breakfast, even if it isn't great, it's still food. We just got back from a weekend here. Previous to this hotel, we had stayed at the Springhill Marriott Suites in Kennewick. Yah, quite the difference! There were several hotels in the area, but this is Lewiston, I didn't feel like $200 a night was worth it, when we stayed in a suite in Kennewick for $150. I read the reviews prior to staying here, so I was somewhat ready. I figured we're only going to be using the room to sleep in, and would be out during the day. So the employees I've encountered they were nice, so that gave this an extra star. The room was just a standard room. Nothing to "write home" about. I didn't notice the bedroom area, but the bathroom had a really bad paint job, and paint was chipping off of in areas. The "complimentary breakfast". Well don't bother. We didn't bother on the 2nd morning. The first morning we got in there a little after 8, it's available till 9. They had make your own waffles (they ran out of some of the batter) the standard eggs and sausage....the sausage looked like it was microwaved. The juice out of the machine tasted funny. There was no bread for toast. No fruit. There were 2 choices for cereal: cocoa puffs or bran flakes. However, I didn't see any milk. And within a few mins they were out of paper plates, employee said it would be about 15 mins before they would have more. Oh, and if you even got breakfast, I was afraid to eat at the table much longer. The table we sat at was all sticky. The coffee must have been good though, my husband had a couple of cups. But he would have drank anything. Family lives in the area was why we were in Lewiston. So we'll be back again in the city, but will just pay more for a better hotel either here or Clarkston, or even an AirBnB. read more

Room smells weird, walls are paper thin, pretty much a dive. Looks like they might be trying to fix it up but that's being generous. Bathroom is gross. Person in the room next door blasted their tv two nights in a row and all I got was lip from the front desk. The room is clean. The screen in the window was pried open and bent outside as well as the window lock itself being broken. No security in the room. First floor room backing up to an area where no lighting and someone may feel entitled to cause an issue. Internet is not substantial to do any computer work if you are on business. Most staff is nice. I asked for and received a late checkout but when I told housekeeping, they went and got the front desk attendant who said I did not have late checkout and need to leave at normal time. I give 4 1/2 star. This is not a luxury hotel, good middle class working man's hotel. If you stay in Hilton's, room service etc, you won't think it's a 4 star hotel Great place. Breakfast sausages, scrambled eggs, bagels, toast, orange, apple, cranberry juice, quite a variety of cereal, 5 different sweet rolls, muffins, good quality yogurt, Greek yogurt, waffles, bananas, apples, oranges great breakfast. Very quiet place, bed was med hard so got a great night sleep. They have ice machine by restrooms on 1st floor so no one is bothered by ice noice. Nice,.clean rooms. Plug ins on night stands by bed for laptop and phone. Kuerig coffee machine in room, God size fridge, t , microwave. Pool and hot tub great. I would definetly stay again, and recommend it. Absolutely hands down the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Had to stay at this hotel because of baseball game and printing convention had all other decent places booked. Walked into a room that smelled like bleach so I figure they were hiding something. Huge pee stain on bed skirt (pet friendly), moldy tiles in shower, cracked tub. Things falling apart. This is a budget hotel, but you already knew that. Because of its location it is not right on an arterial, so quieter than most. Just look for the sign tucked away where the address is and you'll find it. The staff are pretty cool and did everything possible to help reverse charges due to my arriving a day late after a medical emergency. But, beware ... They do tell customers reversing charges when purchased through Choice Hotels takes corporate's approval. You might want to book directly with the hotel. Overall B+ read more

The service here is far beyond what one would expect. Everyone is friendly and engaging. When I checked in Priceline had messed up my reservation. Even though it was in the Priceline system it had not been transferred to the hotel so they didn't have my rate. Amber was awesome and gave me a very reasonable rate simply on my word of what I thought my reservation was originally priced. She was very accommodating and exceeded expectations. I went to travelocity to get some hotel rooms for an upcoming vacation. One of my co workers quit on the spot and my vacation was canceled. I paid the comfort inn up front and their policy was no cancellation allowed. They kept my money and I can't use their hotel. I called them and they won't refund my money. I have to agree with the previous post from Tiffany. This hotel was horrible. I arrived after midnight because of the Mom's weekend in Pullman. the night clerk was nice. The positives stop there. the price was $170.00 for a double per night. For that, you would expect clean towels and a made bed for the second day. Nope.... no clean towels, amenities scattered across the counter. Didn't empty the coffee pot, threw the blankets back up over the bed and piled the pillows on top. SERIOUSLY! For $140.00 per night I can stay in a 4 star hotel in downtown Portland. AND GET VALET! For crying out loud, this is Lewiston Idaho folks.... Not a happy camper. read more

Room was okay. Reasonably clean. Bad review is for the completely inedible breakfast. Part of the price you pay is for the breakfast and I expect it to at least be somewhat good. Although the owner/manager seemed nice, the franchise, Choice Hotels, were not. They were very rude and indifferent about a scheduling conflict that occurred about 5 minutes after booking the reservation (which was approximately 6 weeks from the date of the reservation). Choice Hotels refused to make any changes to the reservation and/or provide any refund. I will certainly not deal with any hotel owned by this group again. This group has no compassion and non-existent customer service. read more

Our room was non-smoking but still smelled like smoke and cleaning agents. Breakfast was good, typical hotel breakfast. Kids had fun in the small pool, the hot tub was being repaired during our stay. Awesome stay at this hotel. Was upgraded to a suite as they were doing work to some of the rooms and had an amazing room. The front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was great.
