Cob web
Jesse D.

The front desk person when I checked in was great. Very friendly and helpful. My room however smelled like pee upon walking in. There was a large cob web on the ceiling and wall. And there was a dog in the adjoining room that was a bit yappy when I entered my room. The dog was quite through the night so that was nice. In the morning I was laying in bed on my phone and an ant crawled across my screen. The breakfast was pretty good however but the room is the important part of the transaction.

This hotel is actually better than the Holiday Inn. The staff is awesome which includes front desk and kitchen staff. Very accommodating. Very Clean room. Plenty of light. Thank you for having a washer and dryer that works. The breakfast was great. I love the biscuits and gravy. 5 star. One thing......please get a toner for the printer.

I was so surprised how nice this hotel was. Very clean and everyone was so friendly and even offered my dog a doggie treat. It was such a great place to stop and in a good location. Will definitely will stay there again. I loved the pet friendly

Breakfast included. And it's good.

Very helpful staff. Great views. Great location. Super comfy beds. And a great breakfast to boot. Oh and they make cookies and milk in the evening. I don't do 5 stars often but this one deserves all 5. Lets be clear it is NOT a 5 star hotel. But for the class it's in it does VERY well.

One of the best places (if not the best) in Lewiston area. Something to remember, Lewiston is still a country town all grown up. Largest city for many miles, but its main economic forces are Clearwater Paper, Vista Outdoors (ATK - CCI, Speer),agriculture, *factoid* furthest inland sea port in the US (last I checked), hunting and steelhead & salmon runs. As some reviews have opined to my consternation its "still unrefined", don't expect refinement. That's not what Lewiston is about, where one of the largest events of the year is still their rodeo. It's a country-city and likely to stay that way. Why is that relevant? The whole picture helps to understand the business. Holiday Inn Express: not going to lie to you. It's a bit overpriced for the city described above...quite a bit. But likely it keeps it nice and clean (which it definitely is.). I suspect you are paying for the view that is a plus. Also, they are building a Marriott close by so the price may equalize soon. Recently stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula for comparison and paid quite a bit less for a bigger room, etc. Staff: Great! Friendly, genuine, and helpful. I cannot say enough about that. A few years ago my wife and I stayed here and the lady (who still works here) was very kind and helped our little "getaway" a little sweeter with an upgrade. Can't say enough good about the staff. Breakfast: fantastic and filling. Room: Nice, clean, and in great shape. Not run down and in disrepair - I hate cheesy maintenance. Little balcony that was very nice. Nice hot tub (aaahhh). and comfortable bed. (You know we get spoiled with our own beds! But this was pretty comfy and I got good sleep.). I forgot my pillow, but there's was a good substitute. They didn't hesitate to give us 30 mins more on check out. One complaint: they house regional juvenile hockey teams from time to time and this was one of those times. The people were great family people and nice, but my can those hockey players pound the stairs all morning long as they take turn driving off to their tournament. Whew! The King Suite was right against the stairwell. I must say though it did wake us earlier that desired it really wasn't too loud, just rumbled a bit.

Stayed here again. Room was dirty bathroom was dirty. Waited on front desk 20 minutes for someone to show up. Not too good. Just my opinion.

I am always a little worried at "pet friendly" facilities because you run the risk of pet smells and dirty rooms.

After a long day of being on the river in 100+ degrees weather, the hotel was a welcome sight. The hotel was clean and check in for our group was very easy. The room was spacious, and modern. The towels were fluffy, air conditioner was perfect and the beds were comfortable. They also offer a breakfast buffet and free Wi-Fi . We were thirsty and hot and headed down to their restaurant (Meriwether's Bistro) to have a meal. They also have MJ Barleyhoppers brewhouse, which is family friendly. The bartender, Riley was very professional and made us feel welcome. He listened to my food allergies and recommended a terrific entree of King Salmon. He also informed us that this is the only full service hotel in all of Lewiston. Our stay was short because of the jet boat adventure, but I know we will definitely return to Lewiston and this hotel in the near future.

Upon entering room, I see that the toilet is full of poop. The front desk arranged for housekeeper to come clean. My room is close to the ice machine. One man was getting multiple loads of ice, lasting more than 30 minutes. Ended just before 10am when I asked the front desk to switch rooms. I was told no rooms were available. About 150 guests in the hotel this evening are getting up at 4am in order to leave by 5:30am. Not easy to get to sleep with so much noise. The front desk should warn people of the potential for noise.

I'm not much for gambling, but my most recent attendance was for the HIITEM'WAQ'IISWIT "Dance for…read moreLife" Pow Wow on the Nez Perce reservation. As my first on my own reservation, and an incredibly moving feeling to be surrounded by family, learning from elders, and celebrating together through dance, song and (was it ten?) drum circles. Dancers came from across the United States and Canada to compete for cash and prizes, donned in the most exquisite custom made regalia. The jingle dancers were mesmerizing. Meanwhile, my kids and I were dressed by my aunties from head to toe in their handmade ribbon skirts, abalone hair ties, beaded medallions, and dentalium shell earrings. My youngest even donned my Grandma Mari's embroidered yellow rose shawl for the Intertribal. The energy inside the conference room was high, the audio was effective, and my aunties arrived early to get good seats for us all. Generations of families filled the seats - passing on traditions, sharing prayers and knowledge, and eventually it was standing room only. The restrooms were clean and the staff were attentive to guests; both pow wow and gaming. Complimentary fountain drinks, coffee and popcorn kept many of us sustained enough to last through the night. On Saturday of the three day event, I participated in the Grand Entry for the first time as a tribal (USAF) Veteran representing the Nimiipuu people. There were more dancers than I'd ever seen up close, circling around me. Everyone in the room experienced a higher healing vibration. It was an unforgettable experience that most will never have! Between performances I snuck out to check out dinner options. The food trucks & vendors were amazing; Smash burgers, Native tacos, Pulled Pork, Nachos, Lemonades - and at reasonable prices. The highlight of my food 'court' experience was scoring a dollop of fresh gooseberry jam for my fry bread from the vendor selling sweet treats. It was absolutely delicious, and to my benefit, was not for sale (appropriate tip provided). Many talented artisans showcased their crafts and wares daily, including my cousin's booth with Peyote stitch beaded antlers, canes, hair accessories and stunning deer antler earrings. I returned home with a new sweetgrass soap, scarf, a magnet, necklace and earrings. In honor of the guests traveling in for the weekend, the gas station lowered the price per gallon to $2.28! You can bet it was the talk of the town as people made a mad dash to fill up. As if that weren't enough, there was a free photo booth set up for all who wanted a commemorative souvenir. Next time I'll be sure to visit the restaurant and share an update. As I headed back home, my heart was full and I felt truly blessed. When given the chance, filling in the blanks and connecting with indigenous roots should always be encouraged.

The elevators are broke so we had to exit the hotel lobby, walk half way around the building to the stairwell ( where two employees were sitting on the sidewalk at the entrance smoking) up three floors. The room was ok, the Hiway side was very noisy with traffic. Room's are most definitely due for new furniture, beds and curtains. I don't know how this hotel is still in business. We witnessed elderly having to use the stairs ( which are riddled with spider webs). My husband and I are senior citizens and will never stay again...
