Others in my party offered up 2 seperate US credit cards and that didn't work either. I asked him to call the head office and he refused. I am not sure if he wanted cash or what was happening. We removed our bags and sorted out other transportation. I called the office later and receptionist was willing to run card manually through phone. But driver had already left by then. He lost $450 that day because of a faulty card reader.

We spoke with Yad and was able to book him for a van for six people the day before we were to leave. So last minute of us but he was more than willing to accommodate us. It is so nice how Yad remembers me too! Very sweet guy and punctual too which is what I truly appreciate. My family were happy because they didn't have to worry about driving to the airport and figuring out where to park. They were early both times, which is awesome. Being on time is obviously important, but to be early to an appointment speaks more to me about their promptness. The day before we came back to the US, we got a message from Yad asking if our flight details hadn't changed. So that was great knowing they didn't forget about is 2 weeks later. :) Very professional and nice driver, Yad was. They even provide wine tour service as well. I'll add Red Eye Limo to the list of my bonehead discoveries. A few days before Christmas, I was planning to fly to the east coast. I realized that I hadn't made an airport parking reservation. I quickly got online and found everything sold out. Rather than ask friends to drive us to and from SFO at odd hours, I Yelped around and discovered Red Eye Limo. For a reasonable fee, we had a town car come to our home and take us and our luggage from Hayward to SFO. Priscilla did the reservations and was very professional and friendly. Ray did the driving, and was prompt, friendly and helpful. The car was clean and comfortable. They also picked us up on our return. Here's our bonehead bonus: When we drive and park ourselves, we are *always* running late and have to rush through security to boarding in a panic (and a foul mood). Having Ray pick us up at a designated time ensured that we left when we intended. We had a relaxed stroll to our gate with time to chill before boarding. Will use again, absolutely.

Bait & Switch Practice:…read more I was quoted for a stretch limousine to take my family to Napa Valley on Oct 17th, 2021 and instead was sent a "Ford transit non luxury shuttle" without prior notice. The driver claimed he had only been dispatched that same morning before our 8am pickup and said I would have to resolve the dispute with management after our trip, so I documented the hourly rate dispute directly on the invoice the driver asked me to sign. After our trip, I called and left message to speak with management, stating a need to adjust the hourly rate quoted for a stretch limousine due to the unplanned vehicle change to a non luxury van. Two weeks later, without returning my call, they billed my credit card for additional time used at the disputed hourly stretch limousine rate. I called to discuss the disputed additional fee and asked Tanya to speak with a manager and instead got an email response from their manager Bobby falsely claiming that they sent email confirmation of a vehicle change in advance and also falsely claiming this was the first time they were hearing that the vehicle was wrong. Bobby quoted their policy to send confirmations in-advance, but refused to produce evidence they had done so, and threatened to report me to the "PUC" if I dispute their charges. I could not be more disappointed and they clearly demonstrate no interest in resolving service or billing errors. True Elegance Worldwide dba Napa Shuttle & Limousines' business practices are unethical.

VOLUNTEER ROLLING CHECK-IN…read more Usually when I take Southwest to Las Vegas I check-in my luggage for convenience. This afternoon I took Flight 818 to Las Vegas. Since Southwest charges $45 for check-in luggage I decided to have my rolling luggage as a carry-on. An announcement by one the Southwest flight agents at Gate 30 said that Flight 818 is fully booked and there will be limited bin space overhead. He asked for 14 volunteers with rolling luggage who wanted to check-in at no charge. I volunteered. So I ended up saving $45 to not check-in and volunteered to have my roller luggage check-in for free.

Checking a bag was a breeze in the priority lane, and the regular line wasn't super long, but there were people even at that hour. Boarding was also smooth with the numbered zones and assigned seating. The Oakland gate areas are super small thought with a limited amount of seating. I'd imagine on a busy travel day, working your way to your gate could be an issue. It's probably the least appealing gate area of any Southwest terminal I've been in. Luckily, I wasn't there long.
