Bait & Switch Practice: I was quoted for a stretch limousine to take my family to Napa Valley on Oct 17th, 2021 and instead was sent a "Ford transit non luxury shuttle" without prior notice. The driver claimed he had only been dispatched that same morning before our 8am pickup and said I would have to resolve the dispute with management after our trip, so I documented the hourly rate dispute directly on the invoice the driver asked me to sign. After our trip, I called and left message to speak with management, stating a need to adjust the hourly rate quoted for a stretch limousine due to the unplanned vehicle change to a non luxury van. Two weeks later, without returning my call, they billed my credit card for additional time used at the disputed hourly stretch limousine rate. I called to discuss the disputed additional fee and asked Tanya to speak with a manager and instead got an email response from their manager Bobby falsely claiming that they sent email confirmation of a vehicle change in advance and also falsely claiming this was the first time they were hearing that the vehicle was wrong. Bobby quoted their policy to send confirmations in-advance, but refused to produce evidence they had done so, and threatened to report me to the "PUC" if I dispute their charges. I could not be more disappointed and they clearly demonstrate no interest in resolving service or billing errors. True Elegance was a solid choice for our transportation needs for our wedding weekend. We hired them to provide shuttles from SFO to our wedding hotel the day before our wedding and shuttles from our wedding hotel to SFO the day after our wedding. These shuttles included the 37-person executive shuttles and 12-person sprinter vans. Our guests indicated that all of the shuttles were on-time, comfortable, and safely driven. And because we were able to provide our guests with the drivers' contact information in advance, the drivers were able to answer any questions that emerged, such as requests for assistance in locating the shuttles at SFO. True Elegance's pricing was a lot more reasonable than other comparable services (particularly for their larger shuttles), and the customer support/service was very responsive via both email and telephone. I booked this company for my bachelorette party and a day after my booking was completed, and 5 days before my party, I got an email that my reservation was cancelled. I called and a very angry man started screaming at me when I was explaining how big of an issue this was. The driver pulls over and tries to fix it and then calls in to the company to let them know and get a replacement. He drops us off at first winery and then picks us up after. ITS THE SAME LIMO with broken AC. The temp is over 85 Degrees inside so we are all sweating like crazy! The driver says he can't switch it out and all we can do is call and ask for a refund. It was for my parents' 70th birthday party wine tour so I was beyond mortified to be so sorely disappointed. When I spoke to the manager, he did not offer me any satisfactory recourse. A minimal discount was offered. He kept repeating that I had confirmed for the sprinter limo. They didn't care about the gravity of the situation. We rented one of those huge SUV limos for 17 people for a bachelorette party in Sonoma. Tom, our driver was awesome, mostly because he basically saved the day twice for us. The SUV limo we rented was super fabulous, Tom arrived early at the house we were staying at, helped us take group pictures and was a great driver. Tom went above and beyond for us when the bride left her phone at one of the tasting rooms and he went back to retrieve the phone (which was found in a bush... don't ask me why). He also helped pick up lunch for us and even went back to the lunch place when we realized the restaurant had messed up the order. The company was more than willing to accommodate my request to be picked up & dropped off at our home in Oakland (which turns out to be less expensive than getting a hotel in Napa & limo from there)! Turan was more than on time... he was ~10 minutes early and was happy to help us get our cooler and lunch into the limo. He is incredibly kind and probably more importantly with my crew - patient. He was happy to follow the itinerary we already laid out while also making sure we stayed on schedule to avoid extra fees. He forgot to give us our complimentary bottles of wine and another driver from the company who was parked next to him (I believe Shawn) seemed to try to compensate for him and was noticeably more warm and accommodating not just to the bachelorette party he was serving, but also us. Our driver though wasn't a total creep, got us around safely, so overall... Neutral. Cons: bottles of water were just 8oz, there were broken glasses, a half drunk water was still there. Stereo didn't always work. Reserved a 28 passenger party bus for a birthday. They sent a 25 passenger bus instead. The driver who showed up without the paperwork was rude and tried to argue that it was the 28 passenger bus. At least 4-5 people in my party had to stand during our trip to our destination. Seating was so bad that a few people drove home with other people instead of coming back on the bus. I reached out to the company the next day to which Leon informed me no one was in that could handle the issue at hand. Bobby the owner was to call me the next day, however he never did so I had to call them the day after. Great service Ray was our diver and was very professional and helpful with routes. All 10 of us enjoyed our time with him! I would say the only down side was the limo seemed to be in bad shape. Suspension seemed bad and radio didn't work well. We did figure out with an aux cable that we could use our own phone music. If it wasn't for Ray we wouldn't have been as happy.
