I just had a wedding 2 weeks ago in San Jose. I have been communicating with this company and they were very patient with me! On May 25, 2025, my limousine driver came on time. His name was Michael and he was very communicative with me! He met up with us at the hotel and I informed him the details of what to expect on the day of. He got all of us on time to the Ceremony and even the Reception. He was like our acting body guard and I loved that! Thank you Code 3 Transportation for hiring Michael! Professional, kind and great with our younger travelers. Our trip into camp was a new experience for me, I suspected it was for Michael too. Faced with adverse road conditions, especially for a tour bus, Michael handled the situation like a Champion, reaching our destination safely. The following Friday, Michael returned to take us back home. Once again faced with even more sketchy road conditions, leaving camp, Michael maintained his composure and professionalism, taking great care for the safety of his passengers. But wait there is more.... Shorty after reaching the main highway we experienced an unplanned mechanical failure with the AC cooling system, inside the cab, forcing an emergency stop and evacuation. Michael made sure everyone cleared the vehicle before assessing the situation. Afterwards, our tour bus was determined to be safe enough to reenter and drive to the nearest gas station a few miles away. While we made other arrangements to complete our journey back home, Michael bought all of his passengers cold waters to ensure we were hydrated. I personally want to thank Michael for helping us chaperones with keeping our younger travelers safe. I spotted a couple individuals that raised my concerns and quietly informed the others chaperones, who agreed with my suspicions. When I raised Michael's awareness, he did not hesitate to help out! So my sister, her husband, my dad, four kids and myself were out celebrating the kids', 5th and 7th birthday over the weekend, July 17th. My sister and her husband decided to go with this company because they seemed reputable and reasonable and the photos of the hummer, looked amazing. Unfortunately the interior of the hummer left more to be desired. The attached photos below are the of the hummer that arrived to my sisters residence. Adding to the fact that interior was busted, the air conditioning AND radio went out mid ride and being the weather was near 90 degrees, we should have been able to have a reliable source of air and not just to rely on the windows, which was blowing hot air. (Mind you all of my sisters kids are under the age of 7. It was extremely uncomfortable for them) The driver was AMAZING! This review does not pertain to him. He was on time, he was courteous , respectful and attentive. My sister and her husband reached out to the company to convey their displeasure with the interior due to the fact that they paid over a $1000 for a nice hummer and the outside was great but the inside, we expected a lot more since our time was spent inside the limo and not out of it. When they did reach out to the company, they were told that they could be reimbursed $200 of the $1100 that they spent for their kids' birthday. They need to be refunded their money or work out a financial agreement that is reflective of the terrible hummer that was sent. The person who handled this call, was extremely dismissive. My sister and her husband said this was unacceptable. They had asked to speak to a manager regarding this situation and have yet to hear back. I would proceed with caution when dealing with this limo service. Please see pictures below UPDATED REVIEW AS OF July 22: My sister and her husband came to an agreement that satisfied both parties. The manager did get ahold of my sister regarding this matter, but only because they were aware of this review. I originally had this business listed for 1 star, but I will update to the 3, because this was resolved.. My advice is to please contact your customers when a problem arises. I know everybody is busy, but a prompt acknowledgment, goes a long way. read more

Don't view these 3 stars as negative, we had a great time! We were given exactly what we paid for, which is admirable for an industry that often tacks on cleaning fees and gas charges or doesn't include driver tip! While we had the maximum of 18 people in our stretch hummer, I'd recommend only including 16 people if you're going to spend a fair amount of time in the limo. We were a bit cramped! Our driver was fairly quiet and arrived 4-5 minutes late (no big deal at all), but if you're looking to be pampered, there are likely more expensive, more luxurious options out there. read more

The driver was wonderful and everything went off without a hitch. We are also offered a big bus they had a available for no additional charge but we didn't more room so declined. I tried to book a reservation for my senior dad, who did not want to upload his Driver's License or copy of his AMEX to their booking system. And they would not take his credit card number over the phone. It led to a very frustrating experience. Why do you need a DL or Copy of the card on file to make an online reservation for a car service. Ended up reserving an Uber both ways, at 1/3 of the price. Was excited to find and try an alternative local company to our standard Black Tie option, but the insistence we upload copies of information my father was uncomfortable with really left for a poor experience. read more

I received several responses, however Code 3 provided the most detailed email, that eased my stress of making this event successful. Jamaica was our driver and she arrived early to my residence, and informed me she was present and ready when we were. She also assisted me in staying on schedule by texting when we were 20 minutes from the next stop on our itinerary. Horrible phone customer service! I was so disappointed. I really was hoping to get a quote from this company for a very important event. I couldn't even get past the initial inquiry. And I called during regular business hours! There was too much static on the phone. It was obvious that the call was being answered in another country. It was extremely difficult to understand what the service rep was trying to ask me, with all the static on the phone! And the harshness and rudeness of the person's tone of voice. I could tell that they were getting frustrated, but how do they think I felt! I finally said "Thank you!" and hung up.
